He is amazing, isn't he? I've LOVING him with my 8 Exalted triggers :) The Titan is an interesting idea, but I think an aggro build would be better.
I think Mirran Crusader is the obvious choice, 2/2 double strike and pro-black pro-green for 3 mana? AWESOME! The downside is that you can't use two of the three main pump effects I use here; Elspeth and Exalted. Its an interesting idea though. Secondary beaters could be Ezuri's Brigade (even in a no-metalcraft deck), or battlecry themed with Crusader, Paladin, and Hero
Spiral Tide is dead. Noone plays Spiral Tide. I play a rogue deck Flood though ;) Seriously, I made this deck for the very reason you said it would be amusing: I think this deck would do well in the current meta. Also, BSZ gives you a much better win-con than ever before. We will have to see what happens before the Legacy season begins to know, but I'm seriously considering this deck. I've been playing it on M-L and am currently 4-1 in matches, my only loss being to someone who I gave my Affinity list to who managed to pull an opening hand of Mox, Springleaf, Orni, Cranial, Signal, Seat, Vault in game 1 and Mox, Seat, Orni, Chalice on game three. I added the Wipe Away to the sb after that :/
Not really lol. If you find you have a token when you can cast MP every time, thats how many you should have. Sorry I'm not more helpful :P You gave me an interesting idea... It's called: Play BS, protect him a turn, give him evasion, and win.
Thanks! Commented
Sidebord updated again. Not really sure about it, any ideas? I'm thinking its too linear still
Sure thing! I love him too
Ok, there is no format where 3 Tolarian Academy is legal, and for good reasons. This deck isn't one of those reasons though; it is build around crack draws. Yet despite this, it is still slower than Aggro and Combo so its hard to see what it could possibly beat
Ok, the #1 best equipment ever printed ever is Umezawa's Jitte. Next I would reccomend you get some fetchlands and Duel lands to make your mana safer, and since your only running two colors, wasteland. Good guys for creature-based aggro are: Dark Confidant, Kira, Great Glass-Spinner, Spellstutter Sprite, Bloodghast, Pulse Tracker, Vampire Lacerator... Not that many, UB is more a control blend than an aggro blend. Check out Fae though from Lowryn and Morning Tide
I would throw in 4 Necropede. He's awesome. Maybe Core Prowler too
My newer combo decks please! Especially the newest one. People comment n say "awesome" but rarely suggest anything
No, I've never played against Extractor. It may be simply because I play Gobs, Lands, and Affinity, the hardest decks for you to beat really
More updates. Starting to think this might be a for-real deck
Totally digging it! Awesome job. How do you fare against Zoo or Gobs?
Ehhh... like what, Mem, mem, mox, hawk, mox, land, 2 drop? That requires 6 cards. Do you actually do it a reasonable number of times?
Because he's a 6/6 flying trampler, you have a lot of sac power, and he's better than the 4 drop you have right now?
Updated list with recent testing results. Meekstone eats Fish. Still need to find a way to beat Combo, but this deck is pretty damn awesome.
Entomb is NOT BANNED. Why do people keep thinking it is? On the deck: 3x Not of This World would be awesome for this deck, since everyone is 7+ cmc Seems like you are running sub-optimal creatures,,,, this is a format with Akroma, Angel of Wrath, Sphinx of the Steel Wind, Thraximundar, Hellkite Overlord, and more. Throw in some disruption... I would recommend 4x Thoughtseize and 3x Duress. Other than that, cool deck. I'm going to go build one too :) Check it out.
Can you please explain why you like Extractor? I think its the dumbest archtype since mono green control
