I dont think you need Birds of Paradise considering you have 20 lands and 2 Trace of Abundance. I just noticed the Mystic and Bloomtender to, I just dont think you need so much of all the mana acceleration. Rest is alright.

I think alot of people did besides Zaffo, btw thanks for mentioning my deck Zaffo. Anyway, I already see a few kill conditions in here. ALOT of them actually. Not every deck needs to go out with a bang. I really dont see any need for that in this deck. You could play a lone Decree of Justice and Cycle it for alot of Mana on the end of their turn for alot of Soldier tokens and a card draw like Landstill does. +1

Look at my Landstill deck, then think about card selection, and then try to find whats similar. Day of Judgement is a good Alternative to Wrath of God and Cancel is a good alternative to Counterspell.Just keep working at it, the kill condition is another matter though... I would find something highly evasive and easy to protect. If Mutavault is in Type 2 still thats a good option or even Gargoyle Castle. I really do like Iona though to. I appreciate the fact your also coming to me for advice about decks and all, I will keep trying to help you best I can. If you need help with a term or understanding why certain cards are good or bad, let me know! Ive pretty much been playing so long I have things worked out to a science from all the reading ive done and such.

Actually, this isnt unfocused at all really. I like it, I would include more Fetchlands though and just replace the basic lands with more Fetchlands with just those types. Like... take out some Mountain for Scalding Tarn and take our more Plains for Marshfield I believe its called? if you gonna use Landfall with a very CHEAP casting cost deck like this, then getting rid of all the land possible from the deck for good draws is important and at the same time gives your guys a boost! Good Job!

You could use Volrath's Shapeshifter with Phage or Dimir Doppelganger, something I played way way back when! +1 cause the name is hilarious.... What disease could she kill you with?

If you want to play Vintage/Legacy Slivers... then you need to look at my Control Sliver deck. Just saying and throwing this out there.

The main idea for a control deck like this is not the cards involved so much, its strategy. Landstill, the deck I have posted, has a strategy... looking at the cards you can see that the deck doesnt seem like its full of powerful cards honestly... and it doesnt! The whole idea is to let yourself fall to 7 life or so without using any of your cards if possible to stall the game long enough to built up a manabase then suddenly clear the board with Wrath of God or Akroma's Vengeance and turn the game around point by point. I am sure in type 2 you can build something similiar to what Landstill is, obviously not exactly the same but you can still mimic the strategy with some of the cards printed today. Ask me if you want some more advice again sometime. I think personally you just need to choose a direction for the deck and move forward.

Interesting card to build a deck around. It could work out pretty well but I do not see this doing all that well. My suggestion is to build around this using Mox Diamond and other cards like it: Lotus Petal, Chrome Mox, Lotus Bloom. I think I saw a deck like this in one of my books from along time ago. I call it type 2 aswell but its called Standard now. You seem like my kinda Magic player, old school, screw Type 2 and Extended. Legacy and Vintage is where its happening. Check out my stuff sometime. +1

This might actually be one of the better Type 2 decks i have seen from recent days. Not to into the Walls of the Spreading Seas or Mark of Asylum though. I like the idea of playing Iona though. Elspeth and Garruk are the 2 really good Planeswalkers. The others are really just... not so good :P Garruk is amazing and Elspeth is just... well.... She is alright I guess. I dont like em very much, really overrated to me. Glad to see you not spamming the crap out of em here though. I like this idea though. +1 Good Job. This kinda deck and Landfall I think are going to replace the Combo decks of Type 2 at the moment.

See, I dont play Type 2 Magic so I dunno exactly know what is being played alot in Type 2. I know for a fact that Planeswalkers see alot of play.... but are really overrated and not worth your time. If you wanna see something more streamline from Legacy then I suggest looking at my Domain deck. Why play Naya when you can have it all?

Not legal, and this deck has been done way to often enough as it is. This deck could be better, the way I played Flash Hulk in Legacy and Vintage pretty much always won on turn 1, I really do not understand this kill engine when you could just win on turn 1 with Carrion Feeder, Karmic Guide, and Kikki-Jikki Mirror Breaker or 4 Virulent Sliver and 1 Heart Sliver.
