Oh back so soon? Damn... Just Kidding :P Iona is a really nifty card in competitive Oath of Druids as far as playing her in Sideboard cards. Nice to know she is seeing the play she deserves lol

Good start. Elves was my first deck back when Onslaught came out, and I moved up to a Tier 1 deck at the time, The Rock, dumped ALL my cash into it and finally made it good but I learned alot by working on it. I keep changing it, its Gifts Rock now.

I think you get the idea, but at the same time you dont understand the concept of Silver Bullets: The creatures with comes into play effects. Thats what makes the Survival of the Fittest decks of 1998 (Formally called Living Death decks) so good. They basically are just one HUGE toolbox that you can get anything to deal with anything with. Anyway, hope that helped ya

Skullclamp is NOT for the buffing, its the fact you draw 2 cards.... and what can this deck do? Probably play those cards lol!

A Sideboard is meant to carry along cards that help break your opponnet down, for this deck I would pry play Tormod's Crypt (Graveyard Hate), Krosan Grip (Its a card that has literally broken deck apart), Caller of the Claw (Best Elf card ever printed and its good if they Wrath of God and you play it on the end of their turn), and Eladamiri can go in the sideboard instead of main like I had em. Choke is good against control decks and Pithing Needle helps against cards like Pernicious Deed. Basically, a sideboard is to help you when you realize what decks are good against your own.... you put cards in it to help you against those matchups or when you look at what is a common thing you play against you have a viable way to make yourself more prepared for that matchup. One week, everyone started buying stuff up for Sligh... what did I do? I put Chill in my Sideboard and laughed, laughed all the way to 1st place.

Heritage Druid just doesnt make sense because if you look at what I posted for cheesekiller, alot of those Elves tap for mana anyway lol! You need Mana, honestly you do, but Heritage Druid wont see play in Legacy. Priest is to good and Rofellos is way to good.

I play Competitive but I like to have fun.Budget? What does Budget have to do with Competitive and Casual? It should have nothing to do with it. Heritage Druid is way to slow for fast Elf decks. Aslong as you have fun, what does it matter if it costs to much or is to powerful? Isnt that the flavor of Magic? A Mage becomes more powerful, so what do you do? You go out and seek more powerful cards to defeat this mage. People really need to understand that Competitive magic IS FUN because it is a challenge, if anyone ever gets mad at you again for suggesting a 'over powered card' tell em to fuck off. Know what? Do it for me to!
