You can absolutely choose to splash red, add this, take out that. That's the whole idea of this deck, to get other ideas flowing. If this deck inspires someone to make a kick ass red splashed discard deck with Waste Not, then I've done my job =]

They're both very close, but I felt with Pox being in the deck, I could get more efficient use out of Crawler. Kinda hard to explain unless you really play the deck. I guess you'll just have to take my word on this one.
How on earth did "I put a spell on you" inspire this? It looks great, and fast...like really fast. I do worry about it topdecking really early on because of that speed. Not sure how you could add in some card draw, but I think that might help.
Mostly I just want to keep the forest count as high as I can. Using Swarmyard could potentially lower the effect of Beacon of Creation...And I don't want that.
Haha, why not?
Before I was reminded of Snappy, I had Wistful Thinking in his place. It's a great option for something like this.
This is very, very cool. I don't really have much else to say...Very cool man. This gets the SWN stamp of approval (Which I guess is a...smiley face? I dunno).
Now THAT would be cool. I love playing against theme EDH decks. They often don't win the game, but they sure win at a lot of other things =]Often you have a group bust out their decks for a game of EDH, then the guy with the themed deck takes his out and while playing everyone is like, "Dude! Check. Out. This. Deck!" For example I have a buddy who's Canadian and his dad is a Mountie. So he made a Mountie themed EDH where every creature is a dude riding a mount.
I like it. I think you might be able to cut down a bit on some of the 4 CMC stuff to speed the deck up a tad, but otherwise it looks fun. I'd love to see what Whispering Madness does with a Waste Not or two out....
I'll be sure to check out both decks as soon as I can.
Yeah, it's what my group refers to as "business casual". It's casual, but we mean business.
^bingo. He might be a Triassic Era boner pill, but viagrasaurus knows his stuff.
Oh, yeah, they could definitely go together. If you set it up right, you could create one hell of a chain, maybe even finish it off with my least favorite card of all time, Tendrils of Agony =P
I might give it a try, but I worry that if I get enough chain discards going, I could end up killing myself haha.
That's what I would've used had I made this a mono-black design. Great card =]
@Blackfire -- There's some debate over whether or not that's the original or not. Almost immediately after it came out, there were countless covers, so it's really hard to pin down who originally wrote it, especially back then. That said, I love pretty much every version of that song.@kingcobrael23 -- dude, enough with the hashtags, and enough with the useless comments on every other useful comment. Starting to really bug me, and you look like a damn "#idiot"
Bleh, Portal...One of my least favorite sets of all time. Not saying the deck is bad, just saying I have a great dislike towards Portal =]
I'm happy to say I was a part of that "Magic Community" design group =]
Yeah, I was very happy when I noticed that they were zombies. Come to think of it, it'd be pretty cool to see a zombie tribal use Waste Not.
Well I wanted to do Waste Not justice, but I also wanted to explore a bit. I could have easily done a classic MBC discard punch-in-the-balls deck with it, but I like to show people other things a great card like Waste Not can do.
