The current problem with this deck right now is that it's just too slow, and you're trying to do too much at once. If you want it to go faster, put in some llanoward elves and/or arbor elfs. Along with that, you gotta think about what you mainly want to do. Right now your deck is making birds, spawns, saprolings, spirits, etc. That's too much "clutter". Instead, perhaps you should just rock the spawns. Try to get your hands on more Awakening Zones, they're not too expensive last I checked. Then get some Broodwardens, more nest invaders (I think you're 1 short of 4), and some Growth Spasms. Then toss out everything else you've got in here except maybe the Mycoloths, those are pretty sweet. The Leyline's are nice too, so keep them in if you can't get your hands on anything else. So if you made those changes you should be running a mono-green eldrazi horde deck (with the all-mighty Mycoloth). That's pretty awesome. However! Were you to add in red, you could also have cards like Raid Bombardment (a common that can be found all over the place), Goblin Bushwhacker (Also an easy find common), and even something like fireball or Comet Storm (if you're willing to buy them) to use as a finisher! You could also add in white and have some fun lifegain tricks. You could add in Soul/Essence warden along with Soul's Attendant to get a bunch of "gain 1 life" triggers. Why is that good? Because you can also add in Ajani's Pridemate and make them massive!

It is, but damn is it funny sometimes. =]
Yeah this one has to be my most evil deck yet. As my opponent the other night said, "No man. **** you and your ****ing deck. I'm hungry, I'm tired...SO YOU WIN! I'm ****ing going home." XD
Oh, and the High Tide is there to extend the length of Stasis.
Hahahahaha! Well actually the main use of Panoptic Mirror is to copy the Shahrazad. The isochron is to endlessly spew out control, etc. And Armageddon is fine because I have the two Darksteel Citadels. With those, my Panoptic'd Armageddon will just keep wiping the board clean of lands except for the Citadels. Those provide enough for me to use my Isochron and to put Shahrazad onto the Panoptic. And while I often agree that 60 is the best way to go, this deck has run better with its slight bulk. =] (Maybe I'll take out the Mana Drains though...I promised I'd never use them again)
http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=118511 You made me do this...you can only blame yourself.
Oh you're on. I see your 4 separate games with Shahrazad, and raise you...A game that never ends.
Huh...Never put in Dark rituals...wtf was I thinking?!
Way too many lands. Lose 5-7 of them. Scrap the Blood Tributes, it's just a bad card. Lose Doom Blade and put in Urge to Feed instead. Then also lose Child of Night and put in Guul Draz Vampire. Add in Blade of the Bloodchief and other low-cost vampires like Vampire Lacerator, Pulse Tracker, or Quag Vampires. Then add in Bloodghasts if you can get your hands on them. Finally, I don't think you need that many Malakir Bloodwitches, maybe try to cut down on them. I personally prefer Anowon as my 5-mana drop, but it really is that -- preference. My last bit of advice is that Sorin, while awesome, is just too expensive, and you'd do much better without him in. There's my two cents. You can check out my vampire deck if you want.
I actually don't have any Crypts...Otherwise I might consider it. =/
Terramorphic Expanse puts the lands in tapped, which makes no change to the speed of your deck and can even make it slower. Paying 1 life is not that big of a deal. I hope my decks will help show newer players (not saying you are) that paying life, taking damage, and kill your creatures can be ok. Simply put, if you're worried that paying 1 life will make you lose, then you probably will...but not because you paid 1 life. Get it? =]
Black is still pretty strong in my opinion. I think it's just meandered a little away from control and more towards "I'm going to kill everyone, no matter what..."
Nah, I almost always prefer to rock on the lower end of lands. But I'm glad you like it.
From afar they do the exact same thing. However up close, they vary slightly... Ice cage is good for containing creatures with scary activated abilities that can still harm you if they were tapped by Sleeping Potion. An example is the card Obsidian Fireheart. Sleeping Potion is good because it taps the creature. That's an obvious bonus for this deck, but outside of this deck, it's good because even if your opponent manages to get it off the creature, that creature is still tapped, where as with Ice Cage it can attack right away. I've had many opponents enchant or equip their creature to get Sleeping potion off, only to have me drop a Sunblast Angel the next turn. (lulz ensue)
Yeah after putting him in, I can say that even with mana burn, he makes this deck so much faster and aggressive. More importantly, when I sac my Bloodghasts, who can't block, I get the spawns who CAN block! Huzzah!
Wow, this deck works well towards the argument that we all need to add the deck type "Tempo". I like it.
By the way Blaze, I too have a B/W knight deck that I actually made for a newcomer to the game! (Not a nephew, but still). I also think you might want to cut down on the lands, but otherwise this is a cool deck.
Awesome.

I tried Repel the Darkness and was just plain not impressed by it. Maybe others will have more luck with it. That of course is my favorite part of this deck -- It has a general skeleton, but has some "slots" that people can take other cards to mix and match however they want to play it. I personally love Dawnglare. I've rarely had a problem controlling long enough to get her ability active. And once I do...It's basically game over. =]
