You definitely need a win condition. I'd recommend 4x Steel of the Godhead, and then a few more creatures to attack with.
Lightning bolt is no longer standard, right? So that's my guess as to why it's not here.
I don't think you can use birthing pod to sac your RSD and search out another RSD, because birthing pod says the creature you search for's mana cost is "1 + sac'd creatures converted mana cost."

Very true. That was why I originally had my Dragon Broodmothers in here. I pair the two up often, but it broke my heart when I realized this just wasn't her deck... :-(

I'm wondering about Genesis Wave here...the GGG in the cost could be a pain, but your mana costs are all really low...
Yeah, that's the purpose of confiscate over mind control--1 extra mana lets you steal great artifacts/enchantments, even planeswalkers. Also, the main thing with the carnage altar is that I can get back most of the creatures I'm sac'ing between skeleton shard and the myr servitors. Also keeps my Strixs from removal spells--I just sac them, and then can get them back. It's not great, but it works, which is why there's only one. I do appreciate the thoughts, though.
With a death baron out, you're talking UB for a 2/2 zombie wizard with deathtouch. Great for chump blocking. You'll also often find yourself with open mana for his second ability.
Yeah, remember that you have to pay X mana as well as X life for bond of agony, so it isn't as great of a finisher as it seems to be.
I'd definitely add 4x Damnation.
Pretty nice...I would consider thornbite staff--instantly attaches to most of the creatures here, and turns any pinger into a Sharpshooter. Also possibly Gorgon flail for more deathtouch. Very sweet TIM deck, though.
Some mana-ramp to get Howl off quicker would be good.
Wolf-Skull Shaman, Mosswort Bridge, and Skyshroud Claim.
You could fix that by putting Lush Growth on Dark Depths, and then using Awakener Druid, then Fate Transfer. Kind of a convoluted combo, though, and easier done by using Corrupted Zendikon or something similar.
Just remember not to enchant your illusions, lol.
