I would be fine with that, the reason I want damnation is because its 40$ to buy into in modern and it sees next to no play... Maybe it'll be in modern master 2.0.Mutilate would be good but without shocks it's awkward in 3 colour decks. I'm not a fan of B/G atm, BUG on the other hand( i just made a bug list for post rotation earlier today) Superfriends is looking good.

I am hoping for either a damnation reprint, or at the very least a black version of day of judgement.Fated is ok, but having a wipe at 7 is very different than at 4 or 5.
It has potential, considering the only good wipe post rotation is aether spouts. leaving it on the board.
No i meant leave them in, I was saying take out affliction and megrim(i put megrim instead of caress-_-)so keep 4x-waste not and 4x-caress.I just made a typo in my above post.
I only listed cards that weren't rotating lol.
^You clearly have never played a control deck before...The only control worthy creatures right now are:Prog sphinxCarytid courser of kruphixHaunted plantmail (if you count that)
Pox Fits a very steamlined deck, this is not it, To play Pox properly, you either want creatures that have death triggers or come back from the grave, or no creatures at all.
I feel you should have mystic over carytid as mystic allows you to have a better turn 2-3-4 where carytid allows a better turn 3-4-5, Also you have engineer as the 2 slot carytid fits in his list.Haunted platemail would probably be better as a 5-6drop that is relevant to sac to life's legacy.and with elvish mystic you won't need the 2x drums either i feel.
I feel these decks are in an awkward spot right now and I dont think they could really deal with a D-demon or mono black for that matter. But post rotation these decks should be all over the place.I mean in my list I only lose Raptor and steam vents( I don't even own steam vents so I really don't loss anything)But i mean the deck is like 55$ without vents.
that was honestly exactly why I thought of it, when I play 8-rack people sit on the other side frowning so I feel adding cryptic can only make the but hurt worse:P
You can attack on turn 3 with the U/R lists also it just needs a lot of things to come together haha. It is a lot more possible with this deck as playing green should be.
Its a good card but i would probably not leave it in vs aggro decks in modern as they tend to empty their hands fast, it would give us more late game vs UWR and Twin though. I REALLY hope they reprint Hymm to Tourach in khans :p that would be a godsend.
It would slow him down(More tapped lands) but the access to the temples would smoothe out any problems and give him a mean late game.
I tryed to use a different shell rather than a striaght discard shell. This deck works without waste not, but still has a lot of synergy with it. It is mainly a grixis tempo control shell.I have been trying to come up with many different shells for it because I feel the striaght discard decks may be too linear.Currently brewing:B/G Waste-LoamB/W Deadguy Waste(a deadguy ale varient as this deck is very well positioned atm)Dega Deadguy Waste(Splashing R gives us access to even more cards to abuse waste not with.)
It's all normally done after combat also, so its 17/12 damage if they let it through or cant block it haha.
Yeah, Thoughtseize is the best card in standard and will be for a very long time still.Chandra and rage monger sound good to me, It's an aggro deck you can also run like duress and rakdo's returns in the sb for the control matchups
Thank you sir, I recently got into modern and after playing mono black 8-rack I have been drooling at all the fun things you can do with wate not haha. But bridge truly is a beating, agaisnt decks like infect, boggles or merfolk it is always best to jam bridge ASAP and I even find myself targeting myself with discard spells so they can't attack even faster. Just the other day I made merfolk dismember their own lord so they could attack haha.
Well we all forget cards and I know I have adjusted my deck from advise others have given me, like I have a version of this deck also and its very different from yours but its the same idea. I would never tell you to change it to my exact build, and i would never expect you to listen. It's always just friendly advice on here as when it comes to deck building and mtg its always nice having help.
lol No I mean It's a deck with a lot of hype that looks really fun, when building a deck its always best to have more then just your own point of view. But it will also vary depending on what your meta is:PI just like how many of these decks are on here and for the most part they have a lot of varients that all look competitive.
I played turbo fog back when new phyrexia was legal, It was sweet you had rites od flourishing, then a bunch of fog mechanics and you have venser(planeswalker) bouncing stonehorn dignitary so that no1 could attack. The rage was real:P
