Np, anything to try and make waste not viable haha, what about hero's downfall or some card draw spells or a combination of the 2?
Underworld connections would be good as a 2 of and 1-2 in the SB
I dunno just tossing ideas out there to help with control.

Like the card's that I would invest in atm would be chord, carytid, courser, seize, jace(he's bound to go up after J,AoT rotates.) and just a few other randies. I also fell some of the souls are very underrated.

Seles bears wouldn't run mage, normally mono white bears can splash blue for it.

for all we know his meta might have 0 affinity in it so kataki might be useless.

If you hit refresh after adding cards it does that, no problem.
Why so much variety in the sb?

If you play the market right you don't buy boosters as the risk/reward almost never pays off unless youre lucky as shit.
Only boosters I open are for limited.

Buying singles is wayyy cheaper in the long run, and most bigger stores cut you deals depending on what you spend or like if you trade in cards for singles they will give you bonus store credit.

Standard can be fun, just the last few formats have been stale.
zen block standard was fun playing dredgevine in standard was amazing.
I also didn't mind new phyrexia/inn standard as esper control was the shit and wasn't as boring as it is to play now.

Well if you play the market right its good to trade all your rotating cards 4 months before standard rotates.
(at 3 months everyone is thinking about the rotation and don't trade for rotating cards as often)

Planeswalkers are always good vs control.
burn spells are bad vs control(unless youre all in on burn and kill before the rev)

np sir.

I went through my old binder of cards i had when i was a kid, and in it was 3 mint lion's eye diamonds was stupid happy lol.

Legacy/ vintage cards are mostly expensive due to the reserve list.
Cards that are no longer printed and cant be reprinted due to the list limits QTY and makes prices skyrocket.
Cards that are staples across multiple formats in top tier decks are work more depending on the success rates of the decks they are played in.
Standard staples have the biggest price jumps due to rotation and meta shifts etc.
Banning/unbanning cards in legacy/modern can cause huge jumps.

4 Lills is a lot, I would cut one for another return.
Whispering madness? wheels work wonders with waste not.
duress is a good sideboard card for control

I don't know what youre planning on adding in the next 7 cards but green looks like its just going to slow you down atm.

Modern isn't cheap, but there are budget builds.
My deck is around 800$ (which i traded in 600$ worth of cards so i didn't have to pay much)
Like in modern you can play blackmail over thoughtseize if you cant afford it lands are optional etc.
If you have any questions on my deck or yours I will respond as I want to see how broken waste not really is.

Waste not is my favorite card hands down and I wouldn't mind hoarding around 200 of them haha:P plus a foil playset;)

Its too slow for competitive formats and casual(with the exception of very few edh staples*looks at avacyn*) has a very small effect on the market.

Thats my build(i havent brewed waste not yet)
I'm going to taste it as mono black with waste in place of bitterblossom
Then testing R/B build.

Maybe another wrench mind?

How surgical works in modern(I know this is casual or budget)
I play the 8-rack discard deck and will be brewing some competitive builds with waste not.
but surgical is a 4of in my sideboard, it doesnt need to work with waste not, some decks like twin or ad nausium(cant spell) just fold if you go t1 discard spell targeting their main win condition, then pay 2 life and strip it form the game.

Thiefs CMC is too high, and you want them to draw the cards so that way it forces them to discard them to get value out of Waste not.

When playing with Bob in your deck you want to limit the amount of 3-4 CMC cards as much as you can, having 4 cryptics is hard enough on our life total.
Also the reason i have less seizes than IoK's

You sir are a giant bag of douche haha, but that seems like how you want this to work.
I would say stuffy doll but you have Light of Sanctionand that seems counter productive, I feel you could replace holy day with something, not sure what just yet.

He's probably just leaving all the sideboard options open until he tests it a bit. Twin is generally weak to more *controlly* decks but thats just what I have seen.
Its my best match up(I play 8-rack)

I think running hammer of purph is a good game plan, It lets you waste extra lands to make artifacts and it gives everything haste.
Plus its an artifact

He does need to up the artifact count though.

Normally when a deck name ends with "Deck Wins" it wants to stay an aggro deck.

I agree with the lack of things to ramp into with servant and that anger is bad when you have so many chumps.
I feel he is playing kaboomist for more artifacts.

I would:
-2 anger +2 doom engine
That's really it.
Maybe try to get 2 hammers in the deck.

This is my version of the deck, I don't run angel as I'm not exactly sold on it yet.
My version is more of a Izzet Affinity deck, rushing out those 6 drops on turn 3.

Those smiters I assume are there for all those waste not brew?
