If you can fit a spellskite in there also that would be great. The biggest problem with your deck is that most of it's creatures dont interact at all when they enter the battlefield(which is what makes pod good...)You want a tool kit that can deal with Any deck nameable and then go infinite with Angel and Spike feeder.

The mana dorks and random non-interactive cards should be: -2 elvish mystic-2 Llanowar Elves-2 Avacyn's Pilgrim-1 Grazing Gladehart-1 Brimaz, King of Oreskos-1 Strangleroot Geist+2 wall of roots+2 noble hiarch +4 birds of paradisenow we need to spice up the 4 drop/3 drop section.-1 Desecration Demon-1 Blood Baron of Vizkopa-1 Liliana's Reaver-1 Hero of Bladehold-1 Reaper of the Wilds+1 Phyrexian Metamorph+1 Reveillark+1 Linvala+1 Restoration Angel+1 Kitchen finksRandom other things:-2 Doomblade-1 Go for the throat-1 Duress-1 IoK-1 Elspeth-1 Qasali Pridemage-1 Sun titan+1 Abrupt decay+3 Throught seize +1 Voice of resurgence+1 Harmonic sliver+2 Chord of calling
Leveler is bad, no trample or evasion = chumped for days. Not to mention most people in casual run artifact removal alongside creature removal.
VS control burn does side out most of their creatures so he does have a point, but I would still rather fiendslayer paly than ram in the SB for burn. Its an odd card for control to have but you do see it in the board a lot.maybe:-2 blind obedience +2 fiendslayerThat way vs burn you have 2-slayers2-negate1-dispel
I was kinda thinking on going 3-3 with servant I just didn't make the change on here yet.I REALLY like servant as turn 4 doom engine is just nuts.
I am really hoping for a damnation reprint, or at least a black version of day of judgement.
This commander's deck name has to always be " Pump pump pass."
It could just be a rumour from people who own them and want the value to increase, I mean its completely possible as they know how many were printed. Knowing how many were destroyed, lost or etc is another thing. It's also hard to say forsure with that fact alone because you know there will be the odd douche whos like " yeah i totally had one of those and I lost it" which would account for 1 but might not actually account for 1.I feel as long as there are un opened boxes of Alpha/Beta the rumour is nothing more than a rumour.
Pridemage isn't good vs affinity, its ok, Any single target destruction is bad.kataki is very taxing to them and slows them down, along side creeping corrosion2-3 of sb is what would actually help you.
People still have boxes of Alpha and beta unopened as Its value will only go up.
Sounds good to me and no problem, good luck sir.
Well like most decks there are different varients, I was mainly posting it to show the math behind the turn two win etc.
http://www.channelfireball.com/home/carrie-on-going-big-in-modern/Very indepth article about the deck.
If you play crab its good to play terramorphic expanse or evolving wilds, lets you get 2 procs in a turn.
Yeah, that's all fair I'm just throwing good cards out there. All very good reasons I just love my playset on downfalls lol
I feel post rotation U/G/X will be the best colours for control.white gives elspeth, banishing and devouring light wall etc.black gives downfall, seize tons great removal.(vraska, garruk)green gives kiora, courser, carytid(spouts doesn't bounce your creatures which makes these soooo much more awesome:P)or you could just go U/W or even grixis. As a control player I'm giddy to see whats in khans and can't wait for S'Rev to rotate.
Try both, not at the same time or anything, just try switch them out each week and see which helps more which match ups did you want those last two spots for? spouts will be the go-to wipe post rotation baring some awesome reprint*crosses fingers for damnation*
Yeah it's just a bad fog in your deck, was just saying I liked it as you mentioned turn to forg lol.The thing about spouts Is sure they can choose, but it also means you know exactly what they are drawing the next few turns. It sets them back really far, even more so if they were digging for answers. Its got some hype going I feel it may surprise you, even more so post rotation.
well you walls can block a 3/3 and live, they cant do the same against obzedat, polly or fliers.I really like Polymorher's Jest. There's also aether spouts legal after friday.
Not really, magic is just a hobby to me. When I play in a format I study the meta looking at all the top decks seeing which cards I have to look out for/ take advantage of.While looking at these cards and figuring out what you want to play you get a general understanding of the cost of each card. When a format is about to rotate you know most of the strong stand alone cards will retain their value or go up.I know packs aren't completely random, I just mean more times than not you lose value on just buying a few packs. That being said someone at my local store bought 1 modern masters pack and opened a gofy with a foil bob in it-_-.I will buy boxes to teach my gf deck building through sealed pools or to draft with a circle of friends but thats about it. I haven't lost money playing standard, I haven't gained much but i cant remember the last time i payed to build a standard deck.Hell I just traded in 600$ worth of cards (mostly standard) to build what I was missing of my modern deck.----------------I just call in standard as a lot of new people don't understand the "types" and "teirs" and got tired of explaining it.I always brew my own deck or just play control as I love control deck, I get tired of some rotations but thats about it. I don't blame people for not liking standard.
