I've heard a lot of hubbub about Lands and TES being skill intensive, but it's nothing compared to this. It was a sincere pleasure running it, and had a blast ripping apart a lot of the stuff I saw on MWS today. I really like this version better than the Misstep version, it seems really fun.

I dunno, Misstep actually DID warp the format... It literally made Stoneblade Tier 1, and that's something I can NEVER forgive. Gush and the clamps I can get behind, but I hate that anything could make tactics from *shudder*standard*shudder* passable.
lol, I've really been feeling like I needed to break out of my comfort zone for building for a while, the douche scale is relatively unchanged. That and I REAAAAALLY want Gush to be unbanned, alongside Skullclamp :O
So I tested this, and DEAR GOD THIS IS BRUTALS! It's much more focused, and I'm loving it. I'll probably stick to my bizarre Iso-Seek Poxtraction though, it makes people question their reality XD
I'm not quite sure, but I think Stephen Menendian played Doomsday again this season as an example. That man is the godfather of competitive Vintage, his decks are simply amazing.
It made a Storm player hate me I think, because I did a turn one Lotus into the Grasp; he wasn't to happy that he actually had to play his deck XD And I can't believe I didn't think of that instantly though, I've been using them out of the sideboard so I know I don't miss. And I have actually done that Dag, it's great for CA, but generally I find myself imprinting Mana Drain and just countering everything XD
Generally it hurts my opponents more than me, and that's what matters. Once they're hurt enough I could just sacrifice it, but generally I can sustain it for as long as I care for.
I do know what Haunting Echoes does, and I will admit that it's one of the fastest ways to clear an opponents library. It's just a lot of people troll with the card because it's so expensive to cast. The standard player thing was because a lot of new standard players had been suggesting it during it's passage through format, in decks where it was sub-optimal. I didn't mean to offend you or anything, it was a legitimate thought. Your response is rather uncivil I would like to mention, and I request that you refrain from insulting random strangers; it gives the site a bad rep.
@_@ Preator's Grasp on Yawg Win... Dear God, this could actually become a thing!
Not sure if trolling, or standard player. http://www.myfacewhen.com/131/
Yeah, I think I was actually trying it while the newest version of my Doomsday deck was Vacation Island, and the new PAL didn't come out till my last version. Speaking of which, I think it's about time to work on that deck again. And I know what you mean about the headaches trying to get something perfect, I made the mistake of covering Technical Difficulties by Racer X... http://www.myfacewhen.com/i/472.gif
Dear God I wish I owned a Black Lotus and some Moxxen, I'd sell those things in a heartbeat! Most smaller vintage events allow some proxies, and some of the medium sized ones do as well. And as to your second comment, that just means the deck is working :D
If by counter you mean permission based control, my previous Jace deck suits that role quite well. Generally StifleNought is considered weak in Vintage, as the only creatures you see are generally utility, or something you tinkered out.(Inkwell Leviathan or Blightsteel usually)
I ran it back when the best design that I could think of for it was just BUG, the white really improves it on reflection. It was just kind of meh as a wedge though. And I have to agree with you on this working well, but sadly as the perfectionist I am, it never seems to be satisfactory to me though :/
You'd think that, but I actually moved it to the board after testing 0_o This is the first vintage deck I've made other than Workshop that can't make use of the brokenness so easily.
Already tested it XD It does exactly what one would expect from such debauchery, but unlike in Legacy, Sacrament is the absolute balls here. It rips decks apart so beautifully
To be honest I tried PAL, and found it lacking. It's enjoyable to pilot, and I agree that seeing people net-decks of it is hilarious, but it's just to unfocused I feel. And yeah, I doubt I'll probably ever change from running Iso-Seek Poxtraction, the response from my opponents make it so much more enjoyable than the normal breeds I find. They expect normal Iso-Seek, but like the Spanish Inquisition, nobody expects it XD
I can dig it, and I hope things smooth out for you man.
I guess Ghast is probably better for Stax, but in normal Crucible Pox I'd rather go with Nether Spirit and Tombstalkers really.
I think he's trying to keep it fair, I mean seriously, move over Yawgmoth's Will, Storm Crow is just so broken.
