I'm testing a Red Splash for some blasts, and changed up sideboard a bit.

Sure has it in the right, I keep meaning to update, it does indeed run spot removal in the board.(three dismembers, and a snuff out) Generally I just win against aggro, my real concern is Dredge, so I have a playset of Leylines and two Jailers for that douche-baggery.
Because I got hit with a Misdirection by a Storm player yesterday >_< And I can totally get behind not running a five mana cost artifact in Poxtraction. I'm debating between using a Nether Spirit and upping to a second Entomb, or going with two Ghasts now though >_< They're both great in anything resembling Pox, so I'm torn.
I got my wish XD
Yeah, this version was what I ran during the trial by misstep portion of the year, it's really stable, but now I'm playing the old version again. Phantasmagorian is great, but right now it's not necessary :/ Also, I seriously don't know how you haven't seen Dredge fir off 0_o It's more stable than Storm or Reanimator, and it's one of the few categorized as hyper-aggressive.
Troll power!
Believe it or not, I have a higher win rating against Reanimator and Storm when I use my current Poxtraction frame than mono-black control, BUG Landstill, Dredge, or even le dreaded fish.
Yup :D I've dashied out my forum profile. And the reason for Hymn to Tourach is that it has the most powerful discard effect you can get for that mana, it's simply one of my favourite cards for it, and enrages people when you keep drawing them XD
His converted mana cost is ten, which is what makes him absolutely bonkers for this deck type. @kicks_422; I'm not sure if it's viable in legacy(I've never tested infect combo), but some people run 1-2 Summoners Pact for search, it helps them to go off a bit they said. I also support the notions of Daze, and fetch lands.
It's true that your not that great at the whole building aspect, but you build decks, and that makes you one of us :O
Ethan, y u no keep posting eternal formats? This looks very neat for poison, but do you really need three copies of skittles the rainbow dragon?
I suggest you look into Doomsday Storm if you feel that way about not having creatures leelamarre, it might rock your world. And thanks for the help with the banner Ded, I'm waiting for my gaming group to see it XD
I bring up the description I used for Phantasmagorian, but eerily more so 0_o And yeah, that was the douchiest surprise I found testing it. Excepting maybe the time I actually got a contamination lock, that was just hilarious, and against a mono red deck as well XD
I still use them in mono black because I base everything off of Nether Void, but as I'm mainly a blue player I can totally agree with not running them. And that blew my mind Ded, to smithereens.
Sorry, it's a common pet name for Dark Confidant that I've just gotten overly used to calling him. >_< I'll admit it makes less sense than calling Emrakul the Flying Spaghetti Monster
It has been said by the sagely cabbage, and I must agree. On all of my black based decks I start with the same simple, yet brutally effective core. 4 Thoughtseize 4 Hymn to Tourach 4 Sinkhole 4 Dark Ritual 4 Bob
Well it's tempo thresh, so overly efficient beaters and a lot of tempo basically. Basically just fast tempo, notably Nimble Mongoose and Delver are the cards that make it thresh. Fire/Ice is an old standby that newer thresh decks sometimes phase out for Dismember, but the cards that have to be in for the sake of the tempo side of the deck are Stifle and Wasteland.
Sadly you are correct that it disables the whole exile trick, but if you have some requirements for saccing something it makes things go insane. Viscera Seer is epic with it.
Not that it's close to it, but this seems more akin to Dredge than Reanimator. I mean, I know standard doesn't have Reanimate, Exhume, or Animate Dead even, but I really don't think the Grimoire makes it count. Or is this more of a theme, as I notice things like the Test Subject(Frankenstein's monster) and Mirror-Mad Phantasm.
Believe me, I would if I could, but Tempo Thresh is sadly quite expensive :/ I've made more budget friendly versions, and they just get ran over to easily.
