I'm stuck with a conundrum, I've been unable to get over how awesome the flavor text for the reprint of Smallpox is, but Spell Pierce and Reanimate are both equally awesome in my eyes.

You might be allergic to cats. Glue vs. Extraction is hilarious enough that I'd probably be a douche and try to pull it off. And if I ever wound up playing the fabled 'seven decks' I would bring along the one I made XD And yeah... Vintage is a format where I definitely support proxies, and MWS if you aim to play. I've been looking at cars that cost less than this deck. http://www.myfacewhen.com/196/
Wow, that trick with the Harbinger is probably insane in your tribal format. And Braid of Fire is just insane like that no matter what you're doing with it in mono-red, with elementals it just seems like cheating :|
I think the Brawlers flavor text pretty much sums this up man.
Glue is great against Gush, but a lot of people are just ignoring it right now. It worries me that I haven't seen one all month. :| And I'm surprised Cat Stax makes you of all people rage, I'd think you would be more upset about Glue.
I'm not sure which form it will take, but it's the natural move right now, based from the arms race blue is having for free spells. I'm expecting it to mostly MUD, and to be more specific I'm expecting Cat Stax designs. Right now some of the best decks are Mystic Remora, Landstill, and the aforementioned Cat Stax. Gush decks with a suites laden with free spells have been doing incredibly well, but have a more difficult Stax MU, and this one is no exception.
The deck is fast yeah, but not as fast as ANT or TES. And the reason the UB wins over the mono-black is because it can play heavy control, and those counters really do make the difference.
Ah, I see. I don't see a lot of Show and Tell lists, so I've gotten to the point I'd rather have Teeg, as he does more by stopping Ill-Gotten Gains as well as Ad Nauseam and Tendrils. Shutting down Force does hurt, but the blow is softened by the presence of Spell Pierce in any of my decks running Snapcaster Mage. I've never personally been a fan of Elspeth myself, being one to always approach anything costing three or four with a great deal of caution. However the current meta might allow for her to be a very wise choice for decks such as this.
Ah, the timmy approach. Derp on my part.
Interesting, but I've found that these setups tend to work best separately. I suggest you look into UB Reanimator, and UR Painter's Stone. I'm tired, so I'll probably be able to post something with a bit of actual thought later on, right now coffee.
I'm not going to lie, I'm incredibly confused by this. I don't understand what the purpose of this combo is, other than running through all your lands. I've just woken up a short while ago, so I might not be thinking straight. If you don't mind cluing me in, I would greatly appreciate it.
Interesting design Setherial, I'd love to hear how this works out for you. Is Meddling Mage really worth it anymore though? I mean, it has it's games, but overall I'd rather have Teeg, and maybe two copies of Flusterstorm.
Wasn't thinking, I just looked for cards that said cascade lol. And this is literally as cascade filled as it can get, all the other cards with it are four and up :/ I personally think this is the best possible design possible for the idea right now, excluding the Coliseum.
To those mentioning Katari Remnant, I would like to point out the spirit guides cost three. However, Demonic Dread is something that could be looked into, but I somehow feel Joe already has. I'm in shock noticing the Grand Coliseum, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was there because of him using most of his rainbow lands elsewhere.
I haven't had time to test this yet, but here's an example. http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=264833
Gro-A-Tog, it's the old Gush deck that a lot of people used to hate. It's an control deck that makes use of Quirion Dryad and Psychatog as finishers, and was one of the biggest decks for abusing Yawg Win other than storm. It's bizarre, but it wrecks.
Interesting, I saw somebody on MWS last night testing a list like this but with a third Selkie in the main deck, shifting from the usual 19/20/21 for a 19/21/20 setup. I had been in lines of thinking Gro for the decks I see, but this would be an interesting alternative.
I'm not going to argue that Vial is the reason Fish is even a deck, but Gush would allow Fish to finally have something I'd say is better than standstill for refueling, and allow them to decrease the land count. It could evolve into a UG deck running Quirion Dryad and maybe two or three copies of Exploration. I won't say it could be better in these lines of thought, just more obnoxious. Gush is just a brutal card when you give it to some decks :| I think that the line of play for Gush in Legacy would be UGx Aggro-Control, but not to the point that Gro-A-Tog was.
Hope you get into the college you need/want man, I know that whole ordeal is a pain.
For Doomsday weird setups usually wind up being the best it seems, like for a while it was 4 FoW 4 Duress 3 Unmask @_@ Around here it's mostly storm and dredge, seems to be the major part of Vintage in GA. Or at least here, I actually don't read reports for the larger tournaments very often.
