@Eerie, @destrucsean; Craptivating Vampire is a poor mans Memnarch, his boost is wasted, as in that slot you could have played something so much more... Such as Dark Tutelage, draw power+aggro vamps=game upon game won. @Joe; I've been thinking about the whole caw-go situation for B/r Vamps, and have to agree that 2 shatter maindecked is in fact the optimal solution pretty much. I've seen some interesting ideas about where people think aggro vamps should head, some even suggesting B/g, but I think you've got the nail here.

Thrun is like the stag, it's the middle finger with legs, pointed directly towards the crotch of every faerie deck. Perhaps I'm biased, but I find he wins to many games for green in non-eternal formats to leave him as a sideboard card.
I'll try, but so far all I can remember from the list was that I had three pyroclasms to deal with faeries till rotaion...
Sure is right, a normal game of EDH has about four-five people in it, by setting him down and sacrificing him even, you're shifting 15 life. And due to the fact that there's sooo many broken ways to get mana, you can just keep shifting every turn. The only banned card I don't understand, is Braids. She does nothing to break the game, she just kills things...
*facepalm* I thought GSZ worked like Worldly Tutor. Also, Thrun is amaaaazing dude. He wins soooo many games, he's the closest we have to 'Goyf right now. Also, 2 cobras is how I always felt it should be done, if you weren't doing straight up ramp.
Hey man, congratulations on front page again! This is a really neat deck, and it's actually a pretty good aggro. My only suggestions are -1 Garruk +1 Thrun, and -1 Stundent +1 GSZ.
I just noticed the connection lol But seriously man, that thing is around recursive beaters, it has a devastating disruption package, and the sideboard could eat somebody. I seriously think that's the direction Eva Green should take.
0_o I meant the grixis version, there's not really anything I can suggest for your esper build... I've given up on artifacts, I just can't get them to work for me, and you seem pretty awesome with them. And yeah, those lands are like... the last resort of a fly trying to escape a nuclear explosion, so like if I just decide it'll be casual.
I tried to build an EDH, and it had been working pretty well... Until somebody told me Kokusho was banned.
Heheh, you've got me there. Your bloodghast control definitely counts for at least ten douche points :P
It'll be a squeeze, but right now we've got Springleaf and Mox Opal, and the colour fixing lands. Post rotation we've got stuff like Dragonskull Summit, Drowned Catacomb, and even that Crumbling Necropolis thingy. I think it's doable anyway, but it might be a little slow if I have to resort to them to soon.
Yup, but at least I will admit it lol
Oh, I'm not saying Linvala isn't awesome, I'm just saying that three seems a bit much. And I just like Grixis best, because it's the shard I have the most experience piloting. I just see some neat tricks that happen in it.
Okay yeah, this totally wins. I had been doing Tezz with a red splash rather than white, and it seemed like it would probably work, but this totally wins.
Eh, guess so, stealing a grave titan is pretty great, and same for sun. I've just never really liked steal cards really, I prefer to be the guy using donate on illusions of grandeur :D
Like the deck, but I'm not sure about how I feel about the three linvala's in the sideboard. I know the format likes it some activated abilities, but three seems like it would be unnecessary. And I think once rotation comes Grixis is going to be the shard to beat :P
I think you'd have been top 8 a LOOOOT. Unless you found the magical meta of Lands, Goblin, and Affinity... Then you'd be boned
I'm kind of surprised I didn't see a single extractor on Grand Prix or PTQ last year, it was the year of the ANT decks. You would have made a killing man.
It's okay, hit him with Telemin Performance turn two the second game. Third game however, it was a repeat of the first, except he Extirpated LED instead of Brainstorm...... I don't like storm vs. extraction, I really don't like it.
I've only seen it necessary against Valakut, taking a Primeval to swing, and then sacrificing it to a seer is fuuuun :P The meta shift of standard seems to be trying to make it weenie friendly, so it looks like I think the deck was called death and taxes... So MoM would probably be a two-of in the SB for me, but I don't play vampires, I play whatever my friends hand me lol.
