Shriekhorn mills one more card than tome scour and helps the mana by being colourless, and it allows you to selfmill

There are dwarves in past editions that works a bit like lords.
I remember them being close to scourge and torment.

Most were berserker dwarves.

Well at least you got mine.
It's been a good week for me also, I got 3 upvotes for an extortion-article (you post half of it, then release the rest when you get upvotes)

Also when searching among decks 3 are marked as oldschool, and when you click on that tag your deck pops up twice, and it is tagged twice as oldschool. I tried to duplicate this effect but couldn't.

I tried upvoting 10 of your posts, and it didn't change a single point of your reputation. I suspect the real points are in commenting :)
Maybe that's another reason why people don't upvote, it doesn't change anything so why do it...

Did you get swamped by upvotes?

The format is also called 93/94 in pro circles :)

You have a few odd picks in the list.

Since you have many signed cards I assume it's on purpose that you lack mox & lotus.

I've been involved with an esper build for a long time and have tried plenty of matches with it.

One card I constantly see failing is control magic. Exactly what decks do you use it against?
I keep track on how all my cards perform and control magic is really scoring low but it's on everyone's playlist so what's it for?

I have some suspicions that grumgully is actually the vexing shusher.

First he shushes you up and then you gratefully eat what he offers to avoid being shushed at again...

I may have forgotten to mention that shriekhorn mills more than tome scour, and it 'helps' your mana base by being colourless.

Yeah, hedron scapeshift have been done before.
And the autocorrect on my phone is at it again. I write hedron it writes Hadron. We should suggest r&d that they make a hedron collider just for the havoc it will cause.

I'm a serious killer... ? Heh, gotta love the phone auto spelling. I once sms'ed about something and threw monkeypainting into the conversation. I wrote I'm a serious miller, just for the courtroom;)

I'm a serious killer:)
Recently I based my mill on walls and draws and traps in an esper shell.

Some of the new cards almost seems as if they were designed with my deck in mind.

I also think that new mill have enough milling creatures to make a pure mill-creature deck valid.

I usually tested each new millcard extensively so I could comment on it.

When you want your mill to be fast, there is one thing you need to do, and that is to make sure you mill fast enough to disrupt the others strategy.

One of the key cards for that is surgical extraction, or when facing counter spells, extirpate. Both takes some practice to use, but they are essentially key to slow down aggro long enough to win. My favourite version of mill is always one where i play 6 of these and 3 chancellor of the Spires.

Symmetry only helps a trap in your hand, so you might want to consider noxious revival. One way to expand on symmetry is to use shriekhorn, which mills 6 cards and is colourless compared to tome scour.

Mesmeric orb is usually a must but demands skill. It is superb in group play.

Archive trap is best with forced searches, and you can try out fertillid, noble benefactor and the new ghost quarter which also demands a search. Then there are volunteer searches with cards like veteran explorer (yup, fertillid veteran trap can lead to guy mill)

I suggest that you build your mill so that only three cards in your deck doesn't mill, and those three cards will be either spent on anti-aggro or anti graveyard.

You mention emrakul, and I can suggest faerie macabre which may cover both functions, hating the grave or chump blocking.

There are so many ways to mill, but milling more is always better. Test out cards by using tokens for each card they mill and if you do it well enough you will learn what mills the most.

Heh! I'll just have to do it the hard way then, and go through all of your tags by myself :)
I have written an article deck (another useful tag) with a guide on tagging.

I don't know if you follow the popularity decks but in one of them we had a visit from the creator of mtgvault, and he's promised to try some new stuff.

I've encouraged him to improve on the deck search so that you may search for 2 tags.

I know, I see my latest comment was 2016 and that you never answered...
But now you know some new mill cards.

The symmetry card is best I think, and fit an older deck I had with shriekhorn and noxious revival. And archive trap...

The 44 bolt version doesn't need more lands, it's the perfect result of thousands of simulated games, and as long as the 44 spells do 3 damage or more it's the best there is at what it's built for. I've even confirmed the number more or less. When I do it with paperstrips (a statistical tool) I end up with 15 lands.

Street wraith and mm could be fun.

Also if you use creatures vexing devil is okay

A version with bolt and haste might also be good.

Remember the number of lands is statistically solid with 16
Computers don't get that wrong, and I've chatted once with Frank castle who had the same result on his own simulation.

He has it posted in an article if you'd like to search for it.

Do you have other functional tags ?
Did I tell that I try to get people to tag the nationality of the decks creator so that people can learn the meta of countries?

Symmetry is also a forced search that triggers traps in your hand.
Theres also a land that does that now, and there's a blue spell costing 1u that also interacts with traps.

No one 'LIKES' anything in here, it's a really tough crowd.
What really scores points in here is commenting people, but it takes time, so I get that it's better to just build decks.

I've posted some stuff about you because your collection is impressive, so you might get a few upvotes from that direction :)

I like your "not finished" tag and will probably steal it :)
I've written about it too so keep an eye out, if people adapt it too, it might drown out your use of it, and you might rename it mekka unfinished or something.

Recently there's been a surge in good mill cards.
I know most of them by heart and can give you a fast summation of what I find useful. I used to cover all mill decks constantly.

And nice to write with you again :)
