I've done some research on the "top deck" issue!
People respond more often to new posts with pro-decks when you put tags like "top8" in the tag-line...
I did it with a pro modern mill-deck and it got 3 likes pretty fast.

In general it takes a little planning to find the best 4 tags and a titel to "sell" a post :D

Only three mill-decks have won in modern.

Perhaps the newest design may be of help to you.
(they all share 4 cards)

Me too! It has mill which I love, it has noxious revival which I adore, and it's sort of my namesake!
Cool setup!

That will be an even bigger advantage!
They know you have it, and will fear the day you use it.
They will be nervous wrecks in 10 years!

Ah, but evolution is not about size! The most actively evolving organisms on earth are bacteria. They can actually cut and paste other bacterial dna onto themselves!!! That's like ripping an arm of a gorilla and placing it on your head to be able to fight AND eat at the same time.

And evolution does not take time. It takes only 10 generations to establish a new mutation, so speed depends on the species. Bacterial evolution is sooo fast that scientists are still struggling to understand how they snip and snap these parts of each others and still work functionally!

Evolution is about weirdness and dead ends!
Is fun!!!

Not as good as your other decks usually are, but theres a small chance that when you play this your usual opponents will lose against the unique never seen surprise element that YOU are playing it!

alackofreason:
Have you tried to build a deck with evolution in it, or maybe a flavortext storyline?

That's just pure art!

I can suggest helm of awakening, and the oldest card in the theme chaos orb (How could you miss that!!!)

But why not try to make some hybrids of your own work?

Take one half from the aquarium and half of the throw-up, mix them together and you got "aquarium throwup"
(Sickening shoal sort of binds these two halves together!)

A small group of players are trying to build half decks! (aka 30 card decks)
The general idea is to build a deckhalf with a theme so solid that it fits almost any other halfdeck you could think of throwing it into.
But most cannot embrace the full concept of it all, and chose to build a manabase fitting their own themes!
I've made it my own task to split up clasical legacy-decks in two halves, and it's sort of an artform to split them in a way so that they are equally powerfull.

We could need some more "artistery" to bring the concept some "designer beauty"

Here's the concept primer:
