Well the good news is that you won't need 4 in the mainboard, and you get to add a new card to the sideboard :)

True...It's funny how that happens a lot.Companions define the decks they are in, but people somehow forget that :)I've told lots of millers to put it mainboard to get all the benefits. The best way to play a lurrus is by not paying three to be allowed to play it for three :)
Nice catch with startled awake, it's almost as good as archive trap.It might even be better if you can find a way to stop aggro that works.
Sometimes the body just wants to buy stuff. For thousands of years our Gene's have been adapted to hold on to property, and modern times gave us consumerism because we naturally crave for owning stuff. It's why hoarding has become an illness. We used to have larger living areas and less markets.I'm not a man of faith, but I do study religious texts from time to time, and when you read the ten commandments it becomes clear that property as a concept wasn't widespread at the time of moses. Think of all the text used to describe that you shouldn't desire your neighbours property.Back to the theme of cats...There was a deck around the 2018, first made by jordan boisvert's girlfriend, that he later started to fine tune a lot. It's called countercat and might be fun to proxy as well.
There are plenty to choose from :)I'll list the 40 I've considered at the next update, which is within a few days.I must admit that I'm being extremely tempted by kozilek's shrieked which isn't that bad in my build, and I do call it my shrieker deck.
Get him to proxy the cards you want to test out.If they work, buy them, if they don't you save the money :)
The shrieker deck :)Damn auto correct, I meant "coax from the blind eternities"All in all there are 40 different eldrazi that I might let hang out in my sideboard. The good question is which ones, but the sheer number of them makes me wonder why noone has ever taken up on building an eldrazi washboard.Since I play with 3 mindshrieker a couple of eldrazi can actually be allowed to be big ones, so any deck without removal may be ripped quickly appart by milling my own eldrazi. I could even see the deck adapt a couple of "not of this world" to both boost and protect the bird.A lot of eldrazi have the ingest mechanic which could be a way to defeat combo. I'm very impressed by sludge crawler which both invests but is a neat aggro card as well.Bearer of silence is also pretty cool and there are just so many different abilities among the eldrazi that an eldrazi wish board must be possible.I also tried to mention eldrazi obligatory but got the name wrong.I can also see some of the eldrazi with emerge being either milled to boost the bird, or be cast of on shriekmaw to enter play. While I'm preparing to test wishes I will also be testing the scope of an eldrazi wishboard.
There's one new hate card in strixhaven that I'm gonna try to get my hands on."Go blank" 2B sorceryMakes them discard 2, then empties their graveyard. That's a pretty neat card...At the moment I'm deep into combo territory with my grixis project.I got past grissleshoal and hexproof and is now up against RUW saheeli/felidar combo. It's an early model without wall of omen, but it has plenty of burn and beaters.I think go blank will be really harsh on some types of combo, but from my games against old combo I can see there will be some combo that really won't care much about that card. This will be combo that draws a lot and has a combo not involving the graveyard. That makes it tough to build up a sideboard.Usually I have 5 cards against aggro, 5 against control and 5 against combo. The cards usually overlap so that I actually have 10 hate cards against each decktype, but it is getting harder to pin down exactly how many of the decks are graveyard combo. I tend to classify graveyard aggro decks as combo, and by doing so usually have a number of cards against those decktypes, but it is often at the cost of ignoring combo that has no graveyard interaction. Maybe I need to split up my sideboard in another way in the future...Oh, yeah, some of the learn cards and lessons are multicolor. My guess is that we'll see a weird blend of them. So far I'm not impressed, but I do tend to search for some pretty specific things. The best learncard so far is the professor of psychology.I've also come to consider coax from the blind extremities. Sure it's an eldrazi wish, but there are some interesting eldrazi out there that I might actually find a use for, like matter reshaper and thought-knot seer or even eldrazi instigator. I think a lot of the old eldrazi have been forgotten and have become cheaper to buy, so I'm considering to build up a list of eldrazi I might want to coax/wish for.
Part of Vision charm also works on the dreadnought.Vision charm can also manipulate lands efficiently if you use it with the right cards, and it has obvious interaction with surgical extraction. The design seems a bit familiar, but how did vision charm ever get to be removed from it ?
It's not geared for the eternals so my guess is kitchen :)
Cut banefire, cut lightning bolt.Add seething song and ignite memories.
Exchange shock with seal of fire which is more tactical.Imagine a person playing ramp through birds of paradise and noble hierarch. If they see a seal hit play at turn 1 they might hold back their creatures for some turns. You sort of also spend the mana at turn 1, but get to flame things later, meaning you get to combine a bolt and a seal at turn 4 but only pays 1 mana when taking something big down.I've always wondered why burn with eidolon of the great revel doesn't play with the seal.It does not trigger the gutter snipe, but you don't want not to open the game by flaming stuff.Ignite memory belongs to a deck with at least 24 mana, preferably 26, unless you start playing with rituals (seething song would do it) I'd also cut it down to playing just 2 of it.
If anything, it will make for some fun videos:)
Enough that I made the damn deck :)
I think greenbelt rampager is a pretty interesting card.If you keep using 1 energy based abilities you can cast the greenbelt over and over. That could be exploited in many other ways, like using the green soul attendant. The question would then be, what cards can you activate with just 1 energy ?Okay, fell for the likeable tag again, but that's it, you hear me ?
Oh, new tag in town, :)LikeableI'll fall for it this time :)
He'll probably fix it :) After all he threw down 10 decks in a row, and being temur he's probably a party person that's here for the rush rather than the details. To me, the interesting thing about the colorwheel is what you leave behind when you chose three colors.Temur sort of casts away the orzhov way of things and focus on just being.I've always seen myself as simic, or a close izzet, but considering that I'm more like data and spock I have come to the conclusion that I'm actually bant...That means I'm casting away rakdos, and that is really spot on, because I try to avoid being selfish and emotional.I think that the real truth about the colorwheel is that we should strive towards color completion. If we lack an aspect, then we are not really fully human.I sometimes feel esper or even azorius, but I really lack the roots of rakdos, just being me, and have fun while being me. It's probably because of my bantness, being tied up with rules, rituals, community and grand evolutionary projects.Maybe that could be my next project ?Project rickety wrecked wickeddarkman?
Yeah, I call those, mimic decks. :)
Just trying to cultivate the world :)Evolution sage has this smartass flavortext. The essence of it being the truly smart thing is to cultivate yourself.Except any phrase is a piece of culture, especially smartass flavortext. You can't save the world alone, especially if everyone else are animals. And how can you truly care for the world if you cannot truly care about yourself.During the corona, when man has been caged, the world has healed. We need to be shackled, but we do not selfrestrain willingly. Then again, it is just a flavortext, and I tend to read to deep into the damn things.Anyways, I'm obsessed with structure, and saw that you were structuring your own stuff, so I was going through it to see if you had any variations I could exploit. In one of the pages you put up links to all of the 10 other decks, which is a nice way to get people to find all the 10 decks. I call that a master page. The trick is then, to let all the 10 decks refer to the master page, so that people will find themselves in a loop. If you only has the master page referring to the 10 other decks, then there is only a 1 out of 10 chance that people will know about the master page.By having everything loop back to the masterpage you get a 10 out of 10 chance that people see that you have other interesting stuff.I currently promote my own decktag: wdm 2018Which when you search for it will list all of the decks with that tag. The designers of mtgvault made a really smart detail with this, they made it possible to link clusters of the same decktag, so if you used the decktag: angatju1234 on all your guild pages you can search for that decktag and viola! You suddenly have a link for all of them that you can smack down at the front or bottom of your deck description. If you really sit down and think your decktags through, you can even make your own work easy. Each time you make a masterpage you get a platform to remember your stuff more easily and when you have 100+ decks it will be pretty practical. I'm at 300+ and in some ways I'm just warming up :)Here's the most interesting decktag I ever cooked up:HalfdeckSearch for it and you and your friends can start brewing up decks that are blended together. Anyone can brew 10 halfdecks, but it will take practice to make all of them fit well.
Could be he has switched life's finale with blood in the snow without posting it :)Most people want to have some secret tech.
