Nah, I re-engaged in our past discussion in here.
I asked what would blow up first, you or the meta :)

I'm watching arena, and running experiments with modern, when the corona is over I'll go for competitive modern, but so far I'm training on the 2018 modern meta with 64 decks. Mostly because I no longer have access to a public printer to print out the current meta, but I am keeping track of things.

And the one down voting me is a troll I've promised not to hunt anymore.

You can read about that by searching for the decktag: wdm troll

The place has seen a lot of old members recently, and I think corona is behind it.
Theres also a bunch of newcomers.

The two most active formats at the moment are EDH and Historic.

I still do my old stuff.

I recently had a series covering a similare deck.
Search for the decktag: wdm prison

I think the one named "pillage prison" will be closest in design.

I used both nahiri and ajani together and ajani did bring a ponza feel to the deck and was very efficient.
Both walkers work beautiful when coupled.

Since the deck is a hybrid between prison moon and death and taxes, it's pretty fast and aggressive and can lock down the mana taxes style or through the moon. One variant featured the flagstones, and it's the plan to make it part of the deck as well.

All the variants I made were meant to be merged into the best possible master deck as evolution can produce, but the project is currently paused.

Simian spirit guide got banned...

But, nice seeing you again :)

So, in hindsight, what blew up first ? :)

I've always had troubles with the closest birthdays where you are forced to choose between parties :)

Ral is probably also important.

It does, and I think a hybrid of arcades/phenax might be interesting.
Most "walls" I used for my deck had draw somehow. (Like augur of bolas and glint-nest crane, and wall of omens)

Green also have a cheap draw wall, and by a blend of draws from wall like creatures (sun titan) it should be possible to draw into either arcades or phenax. The end result would be drawing most of the deck and then perform a gigantic mill or attack.

Eight parties during a week could bring aboard most people :)

It's themed around guttersnipe, and casting many many spells.

Hmm.
Boy scouts are no longer the pure of heart beings they used to be...

Fearghal: is your name a distortion of nearghal ?

Muktol: abominations and packs ? I'd hate to learn about your scout experiences :)

I can recommend overwhelmed apprentice.
It will be very efficient at digging down to curiosity, it's mill gives early info about the opponents deck, and it can disrupt an opponents scry.

You might want to consider overwhelming apprentice replacing opt.
While it does not draw a card, it scryes deeper and brings more card value that way, and draw is pretty much an attempt to get value through drawing more, but being able to choose what you draw brings much more value.

The apprentice is also a decent chump blocker buying you more time against aggro.

If your opponent scryes you ruin it with the mill 2 ability, denying your opponent the value of the card they topped.

The mill 2, will also give you early information about your opponents deck, buying you time to change gears and prepare for their strategy.

Robber of the rich is also nice at destroying a scry based design, so if you face temples and omens more than you like, try out both robber and apprentice, as they will tag team you into cardquality while denying it for your opponent.

Tezzeret's gambit might be better than browbeat.

You should balance your mana so that you have at least 12 cards able to produce each color.
You currently have only 10 white sources.

Although you have 8 cost reducers in main, you will still have to pay the colored manatypes.

You also seem focussed on creatures alone.
Some dinosaurs are able to deal with artisfacts and enchantments and you will need that.

Against creaturedecks you will need to come up with a plan for how you will deal with lots of small creatures, and extremely big creatures (there's always something bigger)

You also need to consider having a few cheaper dinosaurs, as a lot of your opponents will kill your mana reducers.
(The 4 marauding raptors in sb doesn't solve that problem)

I last used it in my esper phenax wall mill deck :)
If you replace green with black you can have mill as that second wincon.

Getting to lock down several creatures and lock down the clues may be good, but only if they got answers to neither. Being aggro you might prefer to use phyrexian revoker instead.

Wall of shards if you ever face death's shadow type decks.
