To bad Dragonspeaker Shaman isn't in standard right now. I have a bet with a friend that it will be reprinted in the Khans block tho. If I'm right your gonna want that.

I forgot about Thrumming Bird. That little guy will pump up your Aerie and Kangee.

A few fun Combos I enjoy are:

Goblin Sharpshooter + Basilisk Collar (Board wipe combo).

Turn 1 Swamp, Dark Ritual, Buried Alive fetch for 3 Bloodghasts (Just mean).

Amulet of Vigor + Bounce Lands (ex. Azorius Chancery, Gruul Turf) + Summer Bloom, Fastbond or anything that lets you put multiple lands into play in one turn.
A standard Infinite token combo legal now that could be fun Midnight Guard with Burning Anger on it so you can target your own Hornet Nest after targeted by Mortal's Resolve or Ajani's Presence. I will add that this is a pretty complex combo that Won't go off often but supper fun when it does. Also needs a good 3 color mana base to be plausible.
In conclusion, I'm of the same opinion of others who posted above in the matters of just having fun with it and figure out a play style which best suits you. Whether it be a fast and aggressive burn style or slow meticulous control or.......... And build a deck around that then tweak tweak tweak till it's right for You.

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say Ethereal Armor just might be good in this deck. :)

Looks better in my opinion. I don't really like Psychic Spiral here it doesn't really fit with what the decks about and is mana costly. Only other thing I would consider is one of either Mizzium Skin, Brave the Elements or God's Willing. They can be very useful to protect your creatures especially so you don't get 2 for 1 with putting an enchantment on a nice bird.

You should be running 4x Skullcrack in your sideboard to go against ligegain decks. Leyline of Punishment could be ran as a 1 of in main to for certainty. :)

Soulcatchers' Aerie should be a 4 of in this deck it stacks and you can have some serious power produced. It also combos nicely with Angelic Renewal + Kangee, Aerie Keeper which can also pump it's power by getting feather counters from Aven Mimeomancer . :) If it's possible the Glacial Fortresses should be Hallowed fountains to add that extra plains for Armored Ascension. Just a few suggestions from a fellow player take it for what it is a simple opinion. :)

Mono Green with no Ramp seems a bit strange for some reason to me. Maybe add 2 Explore and a Cultivate. Mutagenic Growth could go to 2 and Kalonian Tusker to 3. As well a copy of Overwhelming Stampede couldn't hurt anything maybe -1 Militant for that. Just a few suggestions take for what it is just a simple opinion from a fellow player. :)

Prismatic Omen may be what your thinking of, used in many scapeshift decks. I'm unaware of anything else which does the same as Phyrexian Alter

You make a very valid point. I agree as well the deck would be more consistent if the mana base was changed up. Some shocks if the legacy duals aren't an option and maybe mana confluence or its twin brass city

I don't agree with that since the idea is to sac to the alter and produce what you need.

Nice deck +1 from me. Have you considered Dawn Charm instead of holy day? It costs 1 more but may find it a bit more versatile the first time it saves you from getting thoughtsiezed or anything along the same lines.

I think that is for the better. More often then not when I played it in the past it felt like a dead card in hand. I will add that this does look very fun to play with many answers to many things. If your considering sideboard at all I imagine Guttural Response would be a must against control. Another card I think will work well here would be Surgical Extraction.

I'm not sure what you mean by that. Could you elaborate. are you saying with any 4 lands this deck will win outright?

Decimate is awesome when all goes well. However if you don't have a legal target for anyone aspect of the card it fizzles.

I don't think the red is really benefiting you to much here. I would cut Mogis for 2 more sweet demons. Griselbrand, Lord of the Void, Rune-Scarred Demon and Demon of Death's Gate which you already have are my Favorite 4 maybe play 1 of each if it's possible. To replace Bump in the night Go for the Throat, Hero's Downfall or Path to Exile would help instead. Obviously Blood crypt would go and Isolated Chapel would work nice. To finish I have to say that Nightmare is a horrible card and would be better if you had a few more Apostles, it's what the deck is about after all.

Take it for what it is. Simply my opinion. :)

I don't think you need more then 24 lands cutting the Evolving Wilds and 2 Glacial Fortresses would be good. Drogskol Reaver is a beast but odds are your gonna have it in your hand never being able to cast it before the games over. Angel of Serenity should go to 1 and the same goes for Increasing Devotion for the same reasoning. That would make room for 9 cards and I would suggest Spectral Procession should be a 4 of since it's that good! Having so many token generators I would definitely have 3 Intangible Virtue and 4 honor of the pure. These are 2 cmc's which will get way more play and are beneficial to at least half your deck if not all of it. If those aren't to your liking Brave the Elements and God's Willing are great for protection and should at least be in the sideboard.

Take it for what it is. Simply my opinion. :)
