You know what standard format is, don't you?.. :)

Fast & effective!.. ...tough I partially agree with d3Necromaster... ...tough I think the Phoneix is also worth copying... ...if it dies, you can play Artisan again.......You need to work on the sideboard!.. ...3 Gainsay?!.. ...4 Dispel?!.. ...come on!......
Interesting built... ...it's rhythm's probably not as smood as those wich run Arbor Colossus, Xenagos, the Reveler & less gods... ...tough with Krumpix along with the mana creatures, this could work well.......Kalonian Hydra is not too great in Gruul Devotion... ...you also need more Polukranos...Unravel the AEther is fine, but when a long match is on, the opponent might draw that card again & don't forget it could be close to the top after the shuffle... ...I prefer Fading into Antiquity instead, even if it's the 3cmc version of Revoke Existance & not instant speed, like AEther...1 less Garruk is better... ...you need 1-2 Mizzium Mortars mainboard...You need more red source... ...I also run 2 Gruul Guildgate next to the other 8 duals...Ruric Thar is a must in the sideboard(2-3 copies)...I don't know about Fanatic of Xenagos... ...it's powerful, but better in aggro decks, rather than Devotion-ramp...There are other useful stuff to talk about, but I'd rather show you my version wich works well against every types of competative decks & won me 4 FNM-s already + a 2nd & 3rd place out of 6 tries:http://www.mtgvault.com/poetmasterx/decks/colossal-dish/
Actually, for this deck, it would be nice... ...I so dislike Karametra, that I haven't even thought about her, but I'll try her out now... ...may be instead of Armada Wurm?.. ...
In my Esper control deck, I have 3 potential finishers total in the main deck & I can beat any type & level of decks with it most of the time... ...when you have so many draw & strong board-control, than 1 copy of a card counts as 1.75-2...This deck isn't good... ...it's ok, but won't cut it...
How exactly control decks work now in standard?.. :)Just remember the best Esper control decks so far!.. ...1-2 AEtherling + may be 1-2 Elspeth & sometimes 2 Baron mainboard with 1 more in the sideboard, tough better to have 3 in the sideboard...This deck is pretty much the same, only in RUG form... ...I don't play this deck on tournaments tough & it's not even really good... ...just experimental.......
Advent of the Wurm really is... ...I don't use Boon Satyr, since I don't use many creatures, Beastaw is out of the question... ...I can also eleminate Baron via Eviction, or Elspeth, since these effects are global & non-damage...The token of Armada Wurm is also mono-green, so it can block the path for Baron, or can swing in, when it's better... ...I can also compensate Blood Baron by siding in my own Blood Barons &/or by Fog/Riot Control...
I don't like to see more than 1 copy of cards like Negate & Nullify in any main deck... ...may be 2 Nullify at most, but only if you already run at least 4 other counters that could counter any type of spell...The Arcanist is a strong card, but against aggro, it won't be fast enough... ...having 4 of it is a gamble, since if you draw 1-2 of it at late-game, there probably won't be anything in your hand you can combine it with...4 Hybranization main deck?.. ...won't sit well... ...not against almost creatureless control, nor against fast aggro decks, since there will still be a 3/3 threat amongst other creatures that attack you... ...tough Hybranization could be useful, when you have 2-3 in hand & you're up against an AEtherling, but if the opponent has braines, he/she will keep at least 2 blue mana open, if not more... ...& if you can destroy AEtherling, you'll still have to deal with 2-3 3/3 dudes.......I doubt mono-color control decks could cut it these dayes in standard...
I also find Assemble slow against aggro decks, that's why I only run 1 in the main deck... ...but against control, it's awesome & if I have 3 & draw 2 of it, my opponent usually can'T deal with it after he/she also delt with an Elspeth, a Strombreath & may be even a Chained to the Rocks...
Interesting... ...you really shouldn't run gods in this...Read the Bones is way better than Connections when you don't play for Devotion & you really shouldn't in a deck like this... ...I understand, that Mogis is good for control for it's upkeep triggered-ability alone & that Purphoros combined with Elspeth is a strong combo, but it usually won't play out, because either a fast aggro deck slices you in half before you can take it down by it, or a control deck gets rid of 1 or the other before you can cast both...You run too much discard effects in the main deck & not enough board control... ...you'll have dead cards many times & not enough munition to face threats that are already attacking you...In the sideboard, playing Pithing Needle is pointless, because you can rather destroy planeswalkers by Dreadbore &/or Downfall... ...Dark Betreyal is not worth playing, if not only 1 copy in the sideboard...Get a couple of Revoke Existance for the sideboard!..Dega is white based with a little kick of both black & red... ...this deck is rather Oros...Here is my version of Oros control... ...I've played it a lot at tournaments & it has done it's job: http://www.mtgvault.com/poetmasterx/decks/desecration-mortars/
Most of the main deck is like a giant sideboard... ...you won't be able to deal with creatures on board this way...What about Fog?.. ...Simic Charm? - it can give Hexproof to all your permanents at instant speed, so when Downfall, or such were cast, it's just like it's been countered... ...& Simic charm can also deal with creatures by returning them... ...these are suggestions for the main deck, not the sideboard...If you can add Jace, it's +1 ability is usefull at defending Kiora...I have a deck like this & it works perfectly well... ...for farther ideas, you may take look at it: http://www.mtgvault.com/poetmasterx/decks/cyclonic-waves/
Word, Ginpachi!.. ...& if my finishers won't do it, I have more in the sideboard...
I have 7 board wipes total... ...Cyclonic Rift is used for 2 mana about 35% of the time in this deck & Mortars usually to take out only 1 threat for it's regular cost... ...tough everything happens according to the situation, that's why I like cards that you can be used for more than one reason... ...I love some of the charms of RTR block, most of the cards with "Fuse" & the "Overload" ability... ...RTR is such a brilliant block!......This is not my tournament deck, tough it works well... ...I have better decks than this that I still haven't used once on FNM...The most powerful deck now in standard is Gruul-Devotion, but only if you construct it correctly & the sideboard is extremely important, especially against Mono-Blue & Esper + any control deck... ...as for other aggro decks, they won't outrun Gruul... ...& the deck is highly resellient with Garruk & all.......
You are absolutely right!.. ...this deck was just an experiment if I can get use of Blast of Genius... ...but it's now not worth to play...Thanks!..
Reckoner could work... ...but this is a control deck... ...Spark might be good... ...I'll keep that in mind.......Thanks!
Thanks!I do use Cyclonic Rift... ...AEtherize is fine, but Whelming Wave is better & I don't want to have too many vards for the 4cmc spot, neither do I want to run too many return-stuff, because against certain decks, it's just not working well...Building a deck around both Kiora & Elecutors could be strong... ...with lots of Fog & removal...
The idea is to use Blast of Genius with Worldspine, Akros, or Tromokratis, but this's not the base of the deck... ...board domination, big creatures & ultimating Kiora is what this's all about... ...tough it's only an experiment & as expected, it doesn't work really well.......
You can take out Blood Baron via Eviction, or Elspeth... ...you can compensate against any type of deck that playes Baron by sideboarding your own Barons here(because the opponent can't do much about it as well) & also to sideboard your remaning Fog & Riot Control... ...also, there are 1-1 extra Elspeth & Eviction in the sideboard, but against Esper, 3 Eviction is too much... ...even 2 is too much.......I've kept playing this deck & realized that combining these scrylands with the power of Reaper of the Wilds compensates for the lack of drawpower...
Fog should be in the main...For the sideboards, I'd say: Some Essence Scatter, put the Negates there, 1-2 Dispel may be & 1 Swan Song(but not for sure)... ...1 extra Fog, if you add 3 in the main deck... ...1-2 Fade into Antiquity... ...may be 2 Bramblecrush.......Shame you won't add RTR cards, 'cuz Simic Charm is a must addition here... ...it can save your Kiora from Downfall, Dreadbore, etc, it can slow down your opponent in his/her board-game & there's still the boosting ability.......I have problems with a Bant control built... ...I might as well give it up, 'cuz Bant just isn't really competative these dayes, but I might could make it work...Here it is: http://www.mtgvault.com/poetmasterx/decks/sunwurm-architect/
Interesting... ...you know the Chimera could cause you to lose Kiora, right?.. ...or any important spell.......Only 9 green mana could make you end up being late with Kiora & being unable to ultimate her & without that, you can't win the game...You don't have much creatures for Helix... ...I'd rather play Cyclonic Rift...Some Jaces could definiately slow down your opponent & protect Kiora, it can also compensate for times you don't draw a wipe in time...You definiately need F.O.G.!! It's essential to protect Kiora!..Curse of the Swine is good against any devotion deck, especially Gruul, but your primary goal is to protect Kiora & thhose filthy, green pigs will also pose threat on her & you probably wasted an entyre turn on that spell... ...the pigs can attack immediately, because Curse is a Sorcery...In this deck, Follower has no combo to it(there isn't Nykthos, nor any creature with "Ispiration" ability)...Use the Negates in the sideboard & more of them!.. ...you have quite some useless stuff in the sideboards anyway...Good luck!
