Actually, this deck is pretty good, expecially for it's prize!.. :)

I wonder, if it's the best to run all 3 Intrepid in the main deck... ...what I'd do is put 2 of the 3 in the sideboards & play 2 Rancor in the main deck...

I won't run Cathar's Crusade... ...it's fine with Captain of the Watch, but not very smood with all the humans... ...it's ment for spirits for the most...

Play 4 Elite Inquisitor instead!.. ...& take out 2 Somberwald(you don't really need it...

...get the Temple Garden, 'cuz it's quite unstabil to have 6 lands in the deck wich couldn't add you white mana, when you play very few green spells in the deck...

Golgari Keyrune is good... ...the deathtouch ability could slow down the pace for the opponent...

...I'm also a little concerned about Wave, but with this much ramp, it's strong...

Why Militant in main?..

Why so many mana creatures, when they'll often get shot early & if you draw tham in late game, you'll choke...

I'd rather play the Tracker in the main deck...

4 Silverheart is too many, when you play no trample, unblockable, or Flying... ...may be, if you'd run 3-4 Trackers in the main deck, than 3 Silverheart could work... ...also great with Primal Hunter, that you already have here...

This is a deck, where Sigarda would fit in... ...imagine how strong is she: 5 mana 5/5 Flyer, can't be targeted, can't be sacrificed, when she's your only creature on board & she's even too big for Mizzium Mortars with Overload...

...consider Thragtusk &/or Armada Wurm...


...you've asked me to help with the sideboards... ...here is my version for this: 3x Rest in Peace, 3x Oblivion Ring, 3x Nevermore, 2x Sundering Growth, 3x Judge's Familiar, 1x extra of something you already play, like if you'd play 2 Sigarda in the main deck, than you could have a 3rd1 in the sides, or 2-3 Thragtusks in main & 1 more in side...

You are right!.. ...this isn't a competative deck...

...I just set up a challange in mind: "let's make a standard midrange deck in every 3 combinations of colors"... :)

...Naya isn't that weak tho'... ...we have the Huntmaster(R/G) & Gisela(R/W) & that is enough for now... ...tho', when Gatecrush arrives, things will get really ugly & competative on the Magic tables... ...so many possibilities for amazing decks!.. ...hella' stabil & balanced 3-4 color decks, that have medicine for about every tough offence possible... ...& have offence thamselves, that rewuires many types of medicine to extinguise... :)

...now I see it's only 55 cards & the sideboards... :)

...use a little more ramp, by adding 2 Golgari Keyrune & use a 4th Huntmaster...

...put in 1 more land & add 2 Mizzium Mortars, after you toke out a Pillar!..

This deck is unbalanced & easy to beat... ...I suggets you use Liliana only in reanimator decks...

...you have only 10 lands that could produce green mana... ...you need at least 12 here...

...all the "superfriends" deck I have seen are each incompetative... ...tho, I have a modern Junk deck, that has 4 types of Walkers in it & it's kicking ass: http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=399273

I suggest you take out Lili' & put in 1 more Huntmaster & more Thragtusk...

Genius idea!.. :)

I suggest you drop Door to nothingness & simply play the Sunrise/Reward - Experiment combo with Emrakul & stuff... ... :)

...worth to make it modern legal, rather than casual... ...only have to drop Ponder & it will be all right :)


...you have inspired me in making a deck based on tis combo, so I will post it later on... :)

The concept is very nice & I find this deck competative for FNM!.. :)

I'd drop Wrath for 2 Mortars & would run 4 Cyclonic Rift & no Unsummon...

Thundermaw Hellkite would be better, than Hypersonic...

...would run Izzet Charm in main deck & Dissipate in sideboard...

Jace(Architect) would be better here, than Tamiyo, or 1-1 copies...

-1 Island, plus 1 Mountain... :)

Possible sideboards: 1x Pillar of Flame, 3x Dissipate, 2x Tomrod's Crypt, 3x Ash Zelot, 1x Bonfire of the Damned, 1x Mizzium Mortars, 2x Blaspemous Act, 2x Pithing Needle...

YO!.. :)

You are right about Ranger's Path & the 7 Forest... ...I've written it in the description, that this deck is not yet stabil, but it will be, when Gatecrush came out...

I play Growth, because it has me draw a card & it stabileses the mana... With the Visionary, I also draw cards... ...I don't need the blue draw spells...

...I need all my removals, 'cuz this deck is "farrange" & I need to eleminate my opponents early players in time... ...I need Thragtusk for that reason as well(to gain time)...

You are false about Promenade...

...I haven't considered Worldspine be4... ...& I thank you for suggesting, 'cuz it will be perfect for this deck!.. :)

I'm taking out 1 Path & 1 Wave... ...put in 1 Lantern & 1 Worldspine... ...with 8 draw spells in the deck, I'm sure, that that 1 Worldspine Wurm will appear in 2 games out of 3... ...so 1 is enough... ...11 lands not alwayes comes in time...

Slaughter Games is awesome against creatureless decks... ...control decks usually has only 1-3 finishers & if you can pull out 2 Games, than you're at the door of victory... :)

Play 4 Games in the sideboards!.. ...also... ...Rakdos Charm for Keyrunes, grave decks and tokens(could deal 6-8 damage to a player at once)... :)

You really shouldn't play mill, expecially a deck, that is half mill & half damage... ...& not strong in either...

I donno', if you have Snapcasters, but with some Dreadbore, Mortars, Rift, Injunction, Pillar & stuff, it's very strong!..

Thundermaw Hellkite, or Hypersonic Dragon are both nice finishers... ...&/or Olivia Woldaren... ...Desecration Demon is nice, when you run many removal spells...

...consider 1-2 Bonfire!..

Playing 65 cards is a worthless choise...

You shouldn't make this mill...

You don't have enough blue mana...

There are lots of spells in this deck, that I won't run...

Check my Grixis for ideas!.. ...it has been on top decks & you have seen it, but I have improved it since & I'm taking it to FNM next week for the 2nd time... :)

ETA. is weak against Sever and Mortars, but in the late game, it's not a problem to play a Dissipate at any time :) ...

These decks could be weakened by Slaughter Games, but I use extra finishers in the sideboards for that perpouse...

...also... ...no matter how many times I flick the Tusk, or the Wurm by Resto', all of the okens will die by a wipe... ...the extra lives are nice, but against control decks, like mine, the victory won't depend on 5-10 lives, only on "who got who"...

Resto' Angel... ...I've considered it, but I have no space for it... I rather play more control & taking adventage of Thragtusk, by playing many wipes... :)

I like Resto', but this deck is better without her... ...she would only be good for Thrag & the Wurm, so may be 2 of her would be nice, but there are better cards for this deck & I chose those...
