That's because those cards are good for Stompy. There's not a huge amount of good 'stompy' cards =P

It's a pretty small increase in the % chance of drawing any given non-land card, but when you add up the change in % of each non-land card, the change is...while still small (1-2%) is a significant help. If you look at the probability of drawing any one card in a deck, it's VERY small, so you gotta think in terms of those teeny tiny numbers...
I'm tellin ya, Mulch is the card you need. I know you said you've had bad luck with it, but that the thing, it was just bad luck! Mulch was in the ORIGINAL Filth deck all those years ago...A Filth deck without Mulch is like...PB&J without bread...
Well it depends. I don't mind people who clearly are asking for some advice, in fact, I appreciate that they ask me. It's when people post their deck link and something along the lines of "Cool deck! Look at mine!" Those I don't even write down on my list. If you took no time to say SOMETHING worthwhile, then why should I, y'know? Soooo...to anyone reading this, just a fair warning: I will flat out ignore, and probably delete any "CHECK OUT MY DECK! [deck link]" comments.
Soooo...Traft is freakin amazing...If I were you, I'd try to find a way to sneak that dude into this as a possible "backup plan"
Then honestly, I'd suggest dropping the Slimes and giving Gnaw to the Bone a try. I was a bit hesitant about it too, but it gains you a substantial amount of life =]
Specifically, it's a G/B aggro deck that is made to benefit from its own self-destructive nature =]
Mulch man. Mulch fuels Filth so well! It's a little low on 1-drops, but otherwise looks very good, especially since Standard is pretty slow atm =]
This...has given me one HELL of an inspired idea! =D
Doo DOOOO dee doo doo...
The worst part is I was about to say "it's not even that much!" ...and then I wanted to cry a little...DAMN YOU LEGACY!!!!!!!!!!
This gets a like just for the name alone. I'll look though my Thrax EDH and see if there's any suggestions I'd have. You're welcome to look at it too =]
Endless recursion of Bloodghast man =]
I CAN'T HELP IT! I make good shit, okay! =[
Honestly, this site helps out with that a lot. I can just run through them and think of any new cards that could improve them. Posters like you also help a ton =] I also play all of my decks at the shop...I have a few I always bring, and then pick a number of other ones at random...so from playing them I also spot changes I can make =]
Yeah, it stacks =]
That's been my problem lately with HS. It brings forth a very frustrating answer to an otherwise simple question: "Can this make something faster?" The answer, instead of a solid yes or no, is 'sometimes' or 'maybe'. Believe me when I say that that is maddening...and it doesn't help that I already would consider myself a tad unhinged. So, to fix a difficult answer takes a new question. And that's what these experimental designs have been -- new questions. In more understandable terms, I'm trying it out in many different conditions. In this one, the question is can an already fast deck become faster, or does speed + speed = slow? Well again it's more complicated than that...BUT! The good news is with each progressive experiment I think (or hope at least) that I am weeding out the problems. The immediate thought that occurs with a cost reduction of 2 colorless is, and I quote myself "holy crap artifacts!" But, as it turns out, artifacts don't need more speed. Neither does Aggro. So then I tried Artifact Aggro...still not quite. So then I thought what best would benefit from speed, and cares not of the hindrance it brings with it? Control. And so that's what I'm trying out now. So yeah, this isn't my best stuff, but I still appreciate that everyone's pushed it to the top, because hopefully someone will have some brilliant idea about how to use HS, because it WILL happen, it's just a matter of WHO does it. Anyways, this will likely be the last HS deck for me for a while...
IIRC, modern day 26/14 = SoulStomp...the names are one in the same =/
I knew there was another dude that could survive HS unboosted! Thanks for reminding me man =]
Hahaha, good analogy =] I just always think of BantNO and Reanimator as "cheat code" decks. FaunaJund is another that comes to mind (sorta) On a different note, I really hate Stoneforge Mystic. It has essentially killed off classic "equipment" decks, and that makes me sad...We had to ban 'Cats' in our tribal format because someone rocked us with a LitterBox design...(later kept them banned because Cats are just good). Aura decks aren't ruined (too much, let's not forget Bant Conscription -_-) by Sovereigns because they cost so much to play, but when you lower it down to turn 2/turn 1 (with Legacy's pace), then it turns into SFM... Sorry for the rant, just really annoyed that _______ Blade is still watering down the creativity in this game...Anyway, I like the deck you've got here...it works nicely =]
