Oh, and Deathbringer Thoctar would be very sexy in this deck, especially if you add in Blade of the Bloodchief...Which you really should =]

Dude, that chick is pretty good...Very good for EDH, even for negotiating tactics! (i.e. "I'll make you're general a Vampire so that ____ does/doesn't happen")

Also, damn is that some good artwork. I can't wait for Innistrad...I think it's gonna make a guy like me VERY happy =}

Actually, adding in fetchlands increases the speed and consistency of an aggro deck, even if it's mono-colored. They thin out the deck and allow for higher chances of drawing what you need instead of more lands.

Yeah, the one weakness of this deck is if your opponents figure out what's happening, you draw a lot of hate =P

I don't know why this went down to 97...I don't even know what is missing lol

Well I'm still amazed that Goyf hasn't been banned in Modern to be honest, and it really shows the flaws of the format IMHO. Think about this: Mental Misstep is on the ban list, and Goyf isn't. Tell me, is Mental Misstep TRULY more dangerous that Goyf?

If/once Goyf has been banned, Zoo will be a FAR smaller threat. It will still be a contender, but to a much lesser extent. If/once that happens, I think this could do some damage =P

Like I said, keep me posted =]

Interesting. My buddies and I have been working on a "Dark Zoo" (WRGb) to break the format, but this is a very interesting idea. Keep me posted on how this goes =]

I looked at this deck, and after saying aloud, "That's not too expensive...", I stopped myself and kinda felt like crying ={

Curse you Legacy!

Exactly. The best EDH player I know is my buddy Arty, who is a master at politics. He has a "deal making" EDH deck with Zedruu that works beautifully =/

Using Sorin, or something like him will win you the first game, but be ready to get your ass whomped the next few games after that =P

Aside from the Steppe and Bog, I like this a lot. Very strong looking even w/o Goyf =]

Dude, you could totally rock a triple tribal here with Rogues =]

Run Oona's Blackgaurd and a bunch of Merfolk Rogues (lots of them =P) and go to town!

The quote to sum up how Extraction works is "I win, because you can't". Now, that applies a whole lot more to Legacy versions, but it still is something to consider. Legacy is really Extraction's main 'hunting grounds' where two types truly dominate, Iso-Seek...the control heavy version, and PAL (Poxtraction Aggro-Lock) which is the aggro version.

Iso-Seek basically just renders their deck worthless over time, and most people end up scooping, if they don't it's usually a waiting game...

With PAL, it's more geared towards beating the crap out of them and using Extraction to make sure they can't do a thing about it =P

With Standard, it's a mix of both really. Control them and/or beat them senseless depending on the situation. I will warn you in advance that Extraction is not a "pick-up-and-play" type of deck, and takes a lot of experience over time to really get good at it.

Last but not least, you can certainly do a more aggro-based version of Extraction =]
