A regular at our shop, and the guy who managed to beat 4 out of the "7 Decks", showed me his newest version of his Reanimator today....It used Liliana of the Vail. I HIGHLY recommend you give her a try...she's just plain nasty =]

Oh damn, just noticed ooze garden has that obnoxious "sorcery speed" thing...damn, why don't they let me have any fun =[
Hey long time no see man! I was worried about 3 legendaries too, until I played this deck. Because of how well those three go together, it's worth it to have the worst-case scenario of having them stuck in my hand. I'll add you to my list =]
Hrm...hows about Pestermite and Splinter Twin for a little extra cushion? All I got atm, will give it a more thorough look later on...got a headache ={
The change over to Fauna is insane. Wumps always told me they're "abusive" for Filth...now I know why =} Also it's surprising how adding a 4th Mulch makes such a difference =]
Jin-Gitaxias is the ultimate in "You lose, DEAL WITH IT!" scenarios, but I'm kind of glad about that. I've always enjoyed reanimator, or at least playing against it, and now its new toy has ironically, brought it back from the dead =P
Good sir, you can complain about buying lands when you own 3 Tabernacles...
Hey don't sweat it man, we've all had days like that. For what it's worth, I was commenting on the overall drop in the damage threshold of RDW across the board. Yours better than most of the new-age ones I've seen so far TBH. Also, serious respect for anyone who is against netdecking =]
lol ok buddy
Have to disagree with you about the Wildwood, but otherwise you make some very good points =]
If the price of this deck scares you, then I'd suggest not looking at any Legacy decks...This deck's price would just barely pay for the LANDS =P
Unfortunately, with the loss of Guide, Bushwhacker, and fetches, RDW took a major kick to the teeth =/ Even with Shrine, Curse, and Grenade, the damage thresholds for these new RDW are not high enough to be consistently competitive...(Mid to upper 20's!)
I actually really like this design. It very much fits the style of Filth, and it uses HS in a number of smart ways. I think with a bit of tweaking you could wiggle some 1-drops in...but maybe not, I dunno yet =/
This is great man. It seems fast and effective...how does it play? Also, I hope I'm not the only one who thinks it's very ironic that this is a COMBO-based Extraction deck...
I indeed only have 3 basic lands, but the other cards don't search for basic lands, they search for the specific land names like mountain, swamp, etc.
My bad dude =/ I have you're name on my list...but just been forgetful lately...
Good point. I gave it a try, and like the results =]
Oh man, I didn't think about the Striders...Pierce would be pretty nice... Skirge is nice because it's so fast. It can be played on turn 1 and is a powerful threat that gains back that life pretty quickly. That said, there's no solid reason to keep it in or to ditch it. Thopter Assembly is a pretty good replacement, but be careful with the 1/1's it makes...they could get killed. That said, Thopter Assembly is INSANE with Tempered Steel... Unfortunately I think the best way to take HS is to go B/U
Bitterblossum is just a nice fast and efficient (and consistent) supply of extra aggro. It's also useful in Filth because it does help me beef up Goyf, but it also like I said provides consistent dudes which can continue to press the offensive even in times where I have a lot of crap in the yard...
Yeah, if you ever see a non-affinity (or similar) deck with artifact lands, chances are they're running Goyf and cheating in a little extra punch =] I've swapped out Z.I. for Fauna as well as dropped to just 2 art-lands. Fauna adds more consistency to the whole design, where as Z.I. can be used as fuel, but REALLY needs a steady supply of draw power to be completely worth it...and I don't want to make this BUG. If only Z.I. required 1 discard...
