Yes you can, which will let you abuse the crap out of Flourishing Defenses, which is what I think you were getting at =P

Hahaha, nah if you saw the look on the faces of the poor saps I tested this on, it's pretty close to cheating. It's fast as hell, but I think I'm gonna take out the Pharoah...Not my cup of tea =/
Melira + BSZ = lolz ...I just got an idea! =D
I'd be game to look at it sure dude. 1) Have you seen Wumps' Stompy 101? There's your answer lol 2) Shared fate was a goofy/fringe "poor-man's Extraction" for like...4 months. Then it just never worked competitively. The idea is to draw a LOT more than the opponent. I might try it though =P 3) Eh, I tried to get it, but the damn thing is all finicky for me. I might try to finagle it a bit, but idk... 4)The "Seven Decks" are as follows: 1) Extraction (Mine) - "Kneel before your Lord" 2) 10 land Stompy - "BumF**k" 3) Extraction - "Enigma" 4) Esper Prison - "Alcatraz" 5) A deck similar to my Black Sacrifice - Unnamed =/ 6) Extraction - "Go Fish" 7) Tempo - "Four dead in Ohio" (It's an artifact Tempo...Thus, 'Tin Soldiers')
1) No 2) Cuz I eated it... 3) <_< 4) Damn, buddy beat me to it!
Thanks man, appreciate it =] 1) Jester's Cap. It was a lot slower back then, but I still loved it. It started with me saying to someone "Y'know, if you didn't have those ____, your deck would be screwed." The dude was a dick and said "But it does have them, so it works." And that led me to have the epiphany "What if I could MAKE him not have those?" 2) I look at every single card and make sure it truly works with every other card. This means each individual card in a playset even. After that, there's just a 'flow' or 'feel' to decks that work. I gauruntee you've had the feeling. If I don't feel like the deck 'flows', I check everything over. It's an extensive process really, it's just that after doing it so long, and from being an Extractor, I do it a lot faster than most people 3) Mill looks like it could be powerful if done effectively. G/R bloodthirst might be a hard hitter, it was before. I think B/G is gonna be huge to be honest. W/U control looks promising, and Taps looks like it could make one hell of a comeback <_< 4) Goblin Grenade extends the damage threshold of any and every goblin deck/RDW it's put into by about a third...So I'd give it TWO Bone Saws, because it's also funny as hell when you really think about it =P
lol I love how you throw in Inkmoth just to be a douche =P I like this one, but I still think the Orzhov one is the best of the three (three?). Have you thought about making an Esper colored design with Tezz?
1) <_< Haha, sorry dude 2) I'd have said you make great decks, and show skill in both aggro and control...and ya smell funny =P 3) Wow...uhm, that's hard to say. First that came to mind though was a tourney where I played against another Extraction for 1st place. it was intense. Everyone else in the tourney was circled around us, and I won because he decked out...I had 2 cards left. 5) Did you? 6) I think it has the potential to be legit if it isn't already. Time will tell. I will say this, the deck idea is funny as hell, I don't care if you're on the winning or losing end. 7) Not yet. I think DarkBurn/Black Burn could become legit if it got some more tech =/ 8) See above answer to buddysystem
Yeah Arty's the Prison player. We're in Illinois...hope you don't think it strange if I don't want to be more specific than that...There's a lot of nice people on the vault, but...eh, you get it.
1) Yeah, I picked my favorite of the choices you gave me 2) Ian just said they're almost done with an update that allows everyone to upload profile pics, but right now I (and a few others) just got lucky...It's a loooooong story. So just wait a little while and we'll all get to do it =P 3) Back when it was the 6 decks, only one person beat all 6 of us, and that was Arty. He's now the 7th. As it stands now, nobody has defeated all 7. The closest someone has gotten was 4 of the 7. The store owner gave him a free fat-pack. People who are willing to FACE all 7 are given 3 free packs =]
This is dirty dude...Do you think 4 SFM is necessary with just 3 equips? Eh, maybe it is...I'd have to play it to get a feel =/ I feel like there's gotta be something more powerful than Gatekeeper, Tidehollow perhaps? I might be bias, but the card IS good. Another idea is Luminarch Ascension. I put just one in one of my latest designs and it just smashes face, and with the colors to run it, it could be a nice addition for ya =] Lastly, it's just the Extractor in me, but with all that freakin discard, some S.E. and/or Extirpate could rip them a new one. Or, you could also try a one-of H.E. which, while a little costly, will probably equal an insta-win with all the discard =] Oh, and come and check out mah 150th deck celebration...deck <_<
True. Now that I think of it, would making a land like that not come in tapped really be too good? I think the depletion thing would act as a good balance....
<_< No Oran-rief? How come?
It doesn't...I'm a dumbass and missread it hahaha =[ http://www.myfacewhen.com/389/
Remote Farm + Luminarch is basically an auto-win =] I've gotten a turn 1 Farm ---> LA, turn 2 Tezz Gambit (lose life, but on my turn =P), turn 3 another Farm into Martyr of Sands for 15 life and a Serra Ascendant (which is a 6/6 lifelinker)
Yeah, tested it out today...Luminarch is such a nice addition =P
I've only made right decisions?
Tapping rules are often the hardest for players to initially wrap their heads around, so don't feel bad =] If tapping something is required in an activated ability, then the requirement of the ability is what taps the card, and not the card itself. This is why even Heritage Druid can tap itself to activate the ability even though it just entered. If a card's activated ability requires the card itself to tap, then without haste, it can't until 1 turn after it was played. Artifacts all "have haste" in a way -- they can themselves the moment they are played. This is why they can be so useful. Artifact CREATURES, and this one confused me when I first started playing all those years ago, are more creature than artifact. When it comes to activating abilities by tapping, they work like creatures.
Thanks dude =] 1) It's going to be a mess. Any time a new format is made, there is always a few cards that in the context of the format are insanely overpowered. It's going to take some time for them to work out the kinks. After that...I dunno, I'll still probably love Legacy the most =P 2) I always keep a few (4-5) decks that I just always bring to the shop, but past those, I randomly pick from my (now giant) box a few more to take. That all said, I mostly play my latest Iso-Seek design, "Kneel before your Lord" ---> http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=177627 3) It'd be a tie =P
People want to kill off Puresteel and Automaton as fast as they can, so yeah, it happens pretty frequently. It also can give me a steady supply for Mortarpod =P
