Damn it, Cast*

I'd never use an infect Bob...Now a Bob with Wither... My god...O___O
Ghave is so much better as a finisher than I even thought he could be. The craziest use I've found for him actually is when I have Urborg and Kormus Bell. I can tap the "swamps" for the mana to sac. them for counters...With Winter Orb it's just that much more insane =P Also, Winter Orb + Crucible of Worlds + Rishadan Port = dick move of the week. Think about it =]
So? Soon this deck won't be standard either =P
<_< It really does. With Breakthrough and LED, it's like wizards was saying "Hey, if you play Dredge we'll give you Black Lotus AND Ancestral Recall!" I myself made a Dredge...ish thingy. I can attest that both those are VERY good things to consider =]
True, but I've designed this to case just enough creatures to dump out the Venges =]
I suppose that's true, but the format is meant to be in the spirit of more casual play. Besides, those would be considered Hypergenesus decks or Belcher decks since they're distinctly NOT about being a tribe. Cats was banned for being the Zoo design, but then we brought them back and just said Zoo is more "Zoo" than "Tribal", much like Belcher is more "Combo" than "Spirit". But then we re-banned Cats because of Cat Equipment decks...That's why I said "Thank god", because for a long time nobody really wanted to admit that Cat Equipment was too good. As for Human, I don't know if you could get away with it, since many of them are also Clerics...but if you did, I'd admit, that'd be really good. That's one of the prime reasons that Elementals are on/off... <_< Nobody has done Lhurgoyf yet...now I fear the day someone does... Artificer is one of the two I forgot about, and not even because of SFM to be honest. Artificers are surprisingly good (who knew?). The other is Rebel, and then Rogue is also up to be scrapped. Again, Oath would be seen as Oath and not tribal really.
Honestly, it's not very good, so you're fine without it =]
It's often the experimental things that end up standing out to people. Glad you like it man =]
Nah, it's that human druid for 2G. It's a 1/1 and turns a forest you control into a 4/5 treefolk as long as it's on the battlefield.
I suppose it would, but that might very well lead to Wizards being banned. It hasn't been the first time that the tribe has been on the chopping block =/ The tribes listed have proven to be far stronger than the majority of other tribes on more than one occasion. I disagree with Myr and Elementals being up for debate, but the others, when you really think about it, make sense.
Damn, Stompy's gonna take a pretty big hit huh? The deck looks great given what's available, but yeah...rotation hit it hard =/
Derp, I posted this just a few seconds before the complete version updated =P
Dude, I love Treefolk. Probably one of my top favorite tribes. I'm sad that my deck led to Treefolk being a banned tribe in our Tribal format...but when you really think about it...It's justified. Treefolk are good, it's just a fact. And they can be good in many different styles too. I look forward to the complete version of this =]
Nice dude. With that mana curve you'll be able to fully abuse the crap out of Bob, Bobby, Robert, and Roberto (since you have 4 =P). I also think Ajani Vengeant is underrated, he's freakin useful in a deck like this!
Hahaha, yeah it's finished now =]
Holy crap, where'd all your decks go! =O Also, I like this man. Wumps' squirrel deck has some damn infinite combo in it, but I forget what it is atm...
Yeah, Automaton helps a ton with survivability in the earlier stages for guys like Primordial and Protean...Very worth it.
<_< Bramblewood would (say that out loud =P) be funny...And I'm pretty sure if a source produces a color not in your general's colors, it's just colorless...but even so, that's how our group does it. I still gotta frickin look at your Ghave deck, I keep meaning to do it...and keep falling asleep =P
Yeah, Tribal is an awesome format. - Legacy legalities, 60 card constructed. - All decks entered must be tribal decks, which means they must have at least 10 cards devoted to a specific tribe/tribes. - If a deck has more Changelings than actual creatures of the tribe type, then the deck is declared a Shapeshifter tribe, or in some cases, a Shapeshifter/____ tribe. - Banned tribes are as follows: Elves, Kithkin (unless for Goats), Goblins, Merfolk, Vampires, Soldiers, Knights, Faeries, Clerics, Slivers, Cats (thank god...), Myr are up for debate, Treefolk (My fault -_-), and Zombies and Elementals are on/off. (Think that's all of them...) - Banned cards: Engineered Plague, Harsh Mercy (holy balls), An-Zerrin Ruins, Patriarch's Bidding (Restricted), and Extinction.
