Well that just made my day. I wouldn't even respond to this one Aaboy. This just speaks for itself. XD
Harrow is currently one of the only land accelerators that is actually Stompy. The other one being Fastbond (which again, went the way of Skullclamp =P). Harrow costs 3 mana to play as an instant, but puts out 2 lands untapped, and you can sac one of the lands used to pay the cost. In a way, it's 2 lands and deck thinning at instant speed for 1 mana. All other spells just don't function this way. Cultivate is sorcery with one tapped and one in hand, Rampant Growth is just...slow, Overgrowth can't accelerate in the early turns and actually will slow you down. An example of Harrow's awesomeness: Turn one, forest - elf. Turn 2, forest - tap elf and two forests - play harrow - sac one tapped land - thin deck out by 2 - put 2 untapped lands in - tap lands for Garruk's Companion. =]
Also made some changes to make this deck faster. It should help out.
Good idea. I think I'll do Molten Psyche since when I have the metalcraft active, it'll flat-out kill them.
To be totally honest with you, I don't think you need the Myr in this deck. Maybe you could keep the Battlesphere with all the tokens the Myrsmith will give you, but otherwise I'd say lose the rest. Also, you don't really need the tutors. I know that getting out Tempered Steel is important, but you have 4 of them, so your chances are high enough. Plus, I think after some changes this won't really need to worry if it has Tempered Steel out or not. =]
It's actually a 4/4 for 4 with nothin', which is Stompy technically. If metalcraft is active you get an 8/8 trample for 4, which is obviously Stompy. But the conundrum is having artifacts to consistently power him up would detract from the efficiency of the deck. =/
Thanks! It's always fun for me to play.
Alright, alright. Break it up you two. If Kaim is in fact correct, then he can design a similar deck to his own specifications, and it will be noticeably faster/more effective. Simple. =] No need to argue when you can just...Show. =]
Commented for all of you gents. Glad you like the deck. =]
I know it can be good, but I personally thought it had too many flaws. It was at 46 likes, and I didn't want it to hit top, so I deleted it and re-made it. =]
Sorry to say dude but Blightning isn't standard anymore. =/ I would lose the Reassembling Skellys and replace them with some kind of one-drop like Death Cultist, Fume Spitter, or any of the great vampires. That will ease your curve and make it easier to get out DoDG faster.
I would drop down to 2 of both Contagion...things. Then put in Llanowar/Arbor elves in place of those 4 cards for some ramping. And if you have the cash, instead of either of those, 4 Noble Hierarchs for better...well, everything =] Hope that helps.
Nah, as I said in a previous post, with Doran's ability the Indomitable Ancients go from my prime blockers to my powerhouse attackers.
The truly unfortunate thing is that a good deck at "just" $100 is actually not that expensive. Believe me, I wish that wasn't true. =/
Haha, I'm glad to help and I'm glad you like it. =]
Goblin Guide and/or Kargan Dragonlord are sort of the go-to creatures besides the ones you have here. Nice deck dude.
Snake umbra is brutal in this. I'd suggest running 4 of it and 3 of the Renewal instead.
I suppose it could. Glad you like it. =]
Leaf-Crowned Elder allows me to spew out Treefolk like crazy, and Treefolk Harbinger allows me to abuse that ability even more. I get Doran out turn 3-4 consistently. The Bosk is in case I get one in my hand.
