I mean Cosi's Ravager. Cosi's Trickster blows.

Hmm...this has potential, but needs some fixing up. For one thing, you should lose the big fat 1-of's. Also 16 lands is running pretty low, especially for a "fatter" Stompy like what you seem to be trying. You're on the right track, but like I said, it needs some fixing up.

I'll keep "checking in" on it though =]

Yeah, the discarding can get pretty insane. I played a two-headed giant game where I let my buddy use my discard deck "Look Ma! No hand!" and that used together with this is brutal. =]

Sadly there's not really any room for discard stuff in this.

Excellent. Ironically you need to change your deck's type TO Stompy =]

There's probably other things to fix to make it faster, but that was the first thing I check for in a mono-black when someone complains about a lack of speed. Piranha Marsh is an awful card.

Cosi's Trickster is vastly underrated, Explorer's scope is sexy on a Lynx/Pede (especially if they also have Adventuring gear on). Zektar Shrine will punch the opponent in the balls if you're playing a good landfall. Searing Blaze kicks ass.

Awesome flavor. I'd **** my pants if a bunch of Bloodghasts started rushing towards me. No joke.

Oh damn, I meant to put this in the first post. Ditch the Child of Night(s), frickin' terrible vampire card (sorry, it just is). In their place put in Ajani's Pridemate. Those dudes with the "Soul Sisters" get MASSIVE very fast.

Also, you should look into adding in Ajani's Mantra. Personally, I think your best bet for this is to lose the blue stuff altogether. =]

Whenever someone says the classic "Life gain sucks" line, I flat-out laugh in their face.

Nah, it's like a worse version of the Puzzle Box (which is honestly unfair in this deck)

Used to have it in here to be honest. The problem is, it actually hurts me a hell of a lot.

Not Naturalize, use Nature's Claim. 4 measly life is no biggy and that one mana could (and often does) make a HUGE difference. =]

I'm taking this deck and making my own version...

65 makes it just that much slower. Essentially, it makes the deck un-Stompy.

Now, if you lose the Swords, get one more Stampede, lose the Explores, and change the Cultivates into Harrows then you do have Stompy =}

Oh, and take out 2 of your Pelakka Wurms. You should only have a max of 2 "Fat-Stompy" creatures in a deck, and only if they really fit (and with your use of momentous fall, they do). With the two there you could put in 2 Arbor Elfs, or something like that.

Mostly just for fun, those Snow-covered Forests are among my favorite Forest art. The other reason is this deck was submitted for a christmas deck challenge. The actual deck is in green sleeves and does actually have those forests =P

This is a nice aggro/recursion deck. It isn't Stompy though. =/
