The funny thing is, Arty's easily the nicest guy I know. If you knew him you'd have a hard time believing he could make such mean decks =P

I've seen him mulligan a few times here and there, but for the majority of the time, the deck puts you so far behind him so fast that even if he gets a little mana screwed, you just can't catch up. Trust me, a turn 1 Thoughtseize followed by a turn 2 Sinkhole/Hymn...even if he only had 2 lands in his hand...it's damn near impossible to recover in time to do anything substantial to him before he locks you down. But in short, I HAVE seen him mulligan occasionally, but much less than you might think. 3 Urborgs make a hell of a difference for consistency.
@Dag: Eh, Damnation/Decree would hurt me a whole lot too, since this deck makes use of a lot of annoying little dudes. It's sort of themed to be how I'd envision fighting Oona would be -- An annoying fight with a ton of little faerie bastards swarming around you. I forgot about the tower though, so thanks for that =] @leelamarre: If you could post me the link, that always helps me a lot more than sifting through decks =]
All those artifacts that search for a land for you should go. They're overall pretty slow, and losing them all will drop you to 99 =]
Dude...that mana curve is smexy =] Berserk is possibly one of the all-time best Stompy cards, and with SoulStomp, that's one hell of a kick in the balls to lose...I've seen turn 2 wins with It... Even so, this looks really strong for Modern and all it's damn restrictions. Not liking the Helms...Maybe a better idea would be some kind of Trample-granting instant like Predator's Strike =/
words cannot describe how funny this deck is to me =]
"Thus always to tyrants" Not sure if it would be a good thing to say about Karrthus =P (oh, and I'll take a look)
It makes a very small difference adding in fetches...around 2% It DOES make your deck faster and more consistent, but if you're tied to a budget, then not using fetches is a smart choice. Terramorphic, because the land comes in tapped, should only be used for mana-fixing, and never for accelerating your deck...because it usually won't. Phyrexian Arena is always good for a jump in draw power. If you have Bob (dark confidant), then he might be better, it really depends =]
I've not seen many Karrthus EDH's out there...and looking at this I wonder why. He looks like a whole lot of fun, and everyone enjoys a good game of "Battle Cruiser EDH" =] 'Sic Semper Tyrannis'
Yeah, but just one Goyf would more than triple the current price...
=O It's old-school mono-G Filth! Avenging Druid is one of the originals =] This looks really good man...Not gonna lie. I might swap 2 Elixir for 2 Mulch though. Son, I am Impress
I don't know if it's so much a bandwagon as much as it is everyone suddenly realized "holy shit this guy's good!"
Yeah...after further testing, Snappy is straight up NARSTY =]
Awz? you always make me laugh man...
Hmm...I like it, but worry it's a bit slow to start. I would suggest slimming down on the Hero and Splicer and give yourself 4 Doomed Travelers. Also Mentor of the Meek might be very nice to try out =]
If someone is dealt a total of 21 damage from someone's General, then that player loses. It sounds easy, but it really isn't...Vorosh is amazing in that regard because his ability is practically MADE for dishing out commander damage!
These babies have always had a spot in my heart...this one here is no exception. Fast and powerful looking man...Wish I had something to suggest, but all I can think of to suggest is some very nice sleeves =]
1) Uril, the Miststalker 2) Seizan, Perverter of Truth 3) Animar, Soul of Elements 4) Teysa, Orzhov Scion 5) Ulasht, the Hate Seed 6) Ghave, Guru of Spores 7) Thraximundar 8) Rhys, the Redeemed 9) Oona, Queen of the Fae* (still working on it)
I was strongly considering Kessig Cagebreakers when I made mine, and I've seen what they can do. They're a little too high up in mana cost for how I wanted to design mine, but believe me, you get what you pay for with them. The other great thing about them is that at times Filth can get low on creatures, but Cagebreakers give ample amounts of creatures for attacking or chumping =] One last thing, the link you put is to your deck edit page, not the actual deck link =P
<_< This inspires me to make my 10th EDH deck a Vorosh deck, not gonna lie. It's been a while since I've made an EDH deck where the focus is my general curb-stomping the enemy =P
