Sorry it's taken me a while to check this out, I've been challenged with transcribing a fusion song for guitar, so my mind has been fried the last two days.

The first thing I notice is that you're trying to win with the x of Empires stuff, and while that's fun, wouldn't Thopter Foundry and Sword of the Meek make more sense? I know that'd turn this into another variant of the much hated ThopterTop, but it's an honest thought.

Also, I can not tell you how powerful putting Silence or Orim's Chant on Isochron Scepter is. It's one of the most brutals things in magic. It'd allows you to have a better focus on the 1cmc slot, and gives you the time to setup mana for floating a three cost card if need be.

CounterTop has to be one of my favourite strategies in MtG, it's one of the first things I ran for Legacy. It, Reanimator, and Dream Halls combo will probably always have a soft spot in my heart.

Reactive threats are generally a bad idea in Pox believe it or not, like Dredge, we focus on just furthering this one plan to the point of no return. The difference being that Dredge poops zombie tokens, and Pox plays some of the heaviest mana denial in the game, and it's backed up with access to enough field control that more creature strategies fold than they should.

Thanks for commenting Sieg, I'm glad you like the deck, it's always a joy for me when I build MBC. I'll check out your deck in a bit :)

I've tried to keep posting things, it's just nothing really suited to how I build has come out other than Blood Artist and Demonic Taskmaster :| I will admit that they change things, and it makes a few of my decks soooo much better.
Vampires are a lethal tribe right now, this set gave them everything they needed to push them over the edge for tribe formats.

It's cool you can't suggest anything man, I only know stuff before eighth edition because somewhere along the way I decided I wanted to be able to break anything. It's been painful to try and break some challenges, but some come a lot easier than others(one of my friends said "I bet you can't make a decent Pox deck").

And I could have sworn you posted your Kokusho nuke a while back, or are you just tweaking it? If so, overkill is underrated.

More or less that, but variants of it have done well in Legacy. Think more Bitterblossom, Goblin Bombardment, and a whole lot of tokens.

It does surprisingly well, but it has heavy reliance on the 2cmc slot, so a well placed Spell Snare really wrecks it. If you want the list from GP Atlanta here's the top eight

Sideboard is a work in progress, I haven't been playing much lately, so I'm a bit rusty.

Is Urborg really worth it since you only have four lands that aren't swamps, or fetch lands for a bloodghast trigger?

How about a human tribal using nothing from Zendikar block forward? It's at least something to have fun with. EDH with the new legends is also pretty good.

Interesting, I've never really seen a Contamination build without Pox. I'd be very much intrigued as to how a match between this deck here, and my own Contagion deck would play out :)

How is the Obliterator treating you? I've never been able to bring myself to really use them, I always find myself preferring Tombstalker for some reason or another.

I've never relied on seeing two rituals in a hand, it's an incredibly rare thing in a deck such as this. You wind up playing like they never took away mana burn. It WOULD be nice to try though, I might do that this weekend if I get time to play.

@Mashitta; I'm always glad to check out decks like this, they're too fun not to :) I'm glad you liked the deck too, this one just will not give up it's awesomeness.

If it tells you how much I see Blood Bomb decks and tempo, I've not needed Collar yet >_< I've been trying to find a way to slip in another Mogg Fanatic even, it's just gotten silly.

I've never really been found of Tin Street Hooligan, I'd much rather have Shattering Spree any day. And I see you seem to be in concurrence. Like you point out, there's not enough green.

I'm surprised by that consistency, I like it. I guess I just don't want to risk it because it makes me feel more like I'm playing Neo-Affinity than Goblins, and believe it or not I love playing these little suckers.

That is what I say to your deck.

Looks like an awesomely fun tribal man, and thank you for reminding me I have a Clint Eastwood collection that needs dusting off again :)

Interesting, but I have to ask how well four Mox Diamonds run in a 15 land list. Ringleader is amazing, I hate that they cost four, but they're possibly one of my favourite Goblins.

I usually like to run a Sharpshooter instead of the full complement of Gempalms, with the way the meta is now especially it's amazing. Is it doing well for you having the full playset?

Descent Into Madness would be absolutely amazing if it wasn't for the mana cost to tell you the truth. The only reason Smokestack is including is because of how easily it fits into a shell like this, where you're already expecting to screw yourself over. At five mana you're not messing people up enough.

@TazioGiordano; Thanks, glad you like it. This is an older deck of mine, but it's still one of my favourites :D

Also, after a year this deck is on front page. That's just kind of weird.

Thalia really is what makes it playable right now. Against almost anything Goblins are too slow nowadays, so slowing them down is the only way it's really viable :/ Affinity, and Neo-Affinity are more stable as aggro, but with Thalia and the full mana denial package Goblins are decent right now.

Blood Moon and Magus of the Moon are really awesome, and in most things short of a meta where people run the top tier only it does well. I really like Dragon "stompy" as a fun deck, it runs more mana denial and changing. I'll check your deck out later, I'm waiting for some friends for a bit of a trip. I get to eat Indian food :D Only thing I love more is Korean food.

Maybe it's just me being an old fogy about it, but to me Goblins was only ever a deck because of mana denial. I still run the full compliment of Wasteland and Ports, and Thalia just makes that all the more brutal, but Goblin Guide lessens it significantly. It gives us both information, but it can give them some weird ramp, and I don't like that one bit.

I'm already starting to get ideas on how I'm going to change it up, the Fanatic for instance, is getting bumped up one. Time and time again I realize it's one of Goblins sweetest weapons. I also think I'm going to do like I usually do, and go down to just one Siege-Gang. A third ringleader is preferable imo

I can't lie, that wasn't my idea. It was some deck I saw from GP Atlanta, and I loved it so much I had to try it myself.

This is more or less just me trying to see how that frame works with some shifts to suit my meta and mindset better.
