Pretty much anything cool out of Portal costs an arm and a leg, you have to shell out about half a grand just to buy one Imperial Seal.

What does anybody think about the addition of Strangleroot Geists? It's a hasty beater, and Undying works even better with Pod than Persist.

I've been considering putting a Geist in my Melira Pod list, but I've never been quite sold. How does it do for you in your list?

Also, why only two Emissaries?

The few times I hit front page I didn't really care all that much, generally it just made me upset a the way the site worked actually. When I put a deck on here it's to lay down the basic shape, sometimes to show some friends a starting point so they can work on an archetype, and on a very few occasions get feedback actually.

Front page is more or less something that just happens, I'd prefer it be from honest feedback and compliments or whatnot, but conversations are fine with me. I prefer to stay away from the front page personally, since I seem to run into the people trying my builds on MWS when I hit it... Mirror matches are almost always boring.

Now I wish to leave feedback, but first I need to know the format, so I can know what you're working with.

And I board that single Cultist in more than anything else. It's too fun not to, and it provides the full Hulk kill to go along with Melira.

I can sympathize, the culture I was raised into is dying, and no matter how much I struggle I just see more and more of it disappear. Watching the idiocy that our society evolves/devolves into makes me struggle to bear a smile, and I'm turning very much into a misanthropist.

Perhaps they'll redeem themselves, like we struggled to do so, and each generation past.

On a more amusing note, I own a rocking chair, cane, fishing hat, and drink sweet tea whenever possible. I'm ready to be that guy according to my classmates.

Welcome back to having your old stuff randomly appear on front page man! It's been a while.

Also, why is Painter making such a surge on this site nowadays? Next thing I know I'll be seeing more Affinity decks pop up online again... Please don't put that evil on me Ricky Bobby

I always start to smile when I pull that off, it really is a magical moment.

And yeah, this combo is historically weaker to discard than the common handful. But what you REALLY need to watch out for is Null Rod and Stony Silence, they will be the bane of your, and any local affinity players day

Ever notice we're like the old retired guys on their porches telling kids "get offa ma lawn!" When it comes to standard?

Cheer up, Modern seems to be catching on a lot quicker to the brokenness of things than standard kids are. And if you will recall, I've always been a supporter of Pod, calling that Wurmcoil would be Chuck Norris in the designs.

Nobody said anything about ditching Bob, I run Tombstalker AND Bob. Just view it like Barney Stinson would, you're challenged to kill the opponent before Bob kills you(Challenge accepted!)

Doran is a whole different world than Zombies or WW, Doran decks are actually pretty hefty. I was thinking you meant even Delver, so I was kinda sketchy on that one.
Doran with Spellskite is shenanigans, I've been on the other end, and I have lost :|

It always makes me happy to see Misdirection, it seems that most people just skip over it nowadays... It's still an amazing card, and probably will continue to be so for a long time.

I don't know how I feel about your definition of big bodies.

Tombstalker is a big risk, I won't lie, but it IS a four turn clock by itself once it starts swinging, and drops early. I can understand not wanting to remove souls, but you're only running two KotR's. It's a trade, just like snaps and lavamancers.
Baneslayer is probably the next best option.

Glad the deck is working for you man, it looks like a ton of fun.

I'm guessing that being the reason your buddy Kyle runs haste-aggro, I can dig it.
Weenie strategies are really good in Modern, but I haven't seem anybody really optimize it for the current meta right now, myself included :| WW would be "totes deece" if it had a better way to deal with Zoo than just Firewalkers.

I'm not sure what manner of big aggro you're dealing with, but what I usually do is just plop in Tombstalkers if I feel I need to race in Dirt. Yeah it's risky with Bob, but I've always seen the reward with it.

Only one Thrun? Not sure if wanting to minimize mana curve, or just don't think he's worth taking another slot.

Neat deck man, and definitely looks like a headache for a lot of things to deal with.

I can dig it, Shaman does seem like it's specifically engineered to hate on a few decks that aren't really making up much of the meta right now.

Thalia at a playset is one of those things I've heard about people doing, but I've never met an aggro-player who was a dick enough to do it. A three:two split with Thalia and Teeg however... I scooped man.

Braids is bad in Pox actually, it adds whole new levels of death that she just can't handle. Stax Pox(Black Stax, SmokePox, ect.) is pretty brutal, and generally preferable to Braids since I don't have to worry about her getting nuked by a Pox.

Also challenge denied, Dredge and Thresh are both all or nothing designs if you want them to work, so my OCD wouldn't allow me to make a deck that didn't work to nTh because of a transformation board. :/ That was a problem for me when I was working on Jericho, but after a while I won enough games off of it that I kept it.

My first instinct is playing a third Thalia, I've been royally boned by seeing her on turn two plenty of times.
It's not pretty.

Second one is to drop the idea of it being a haste deck, and making it a bit more Shaman-esque. I can't say this is unbiased, because toolboxes are my crack. I also just don't see haste-aggro being all that effective right now.

I'm going to have to agree with Sure about the manabase, if your friend wants keep haste-aggro as the focus, he's going to need the manabase to support it better.
