This has 20 lands, and I can list:Project silhana alfred versionThe ultimate pervy deckDiscard devotionIzzet a stupid deckSage of the ozolithThere a card on top play it All have 20 lands. It's your default number when your deck isn't experimental with the mana.Considering how many decks you post, you can't refine the mana of them all.I can suggest that you start making your default mana into 22 which is a much more stable than 20.Go take a look at my decks. All of them have had the mana refined with at least 200 games each as the bare minimum, and the major projects have at least 2000 games behind them.Look at the mana and you'll find most rests above 21 mana.

This isn't storm :)I'm currently testing through boogles, and I've forgotten how much I've used engineered explosives in the past mill designs. I did expect to use cards like tribute to hunger and devour flesh to deal with big creatures. I had also forgotten that bogles used to play 4 leyline of sanctity, which meant battles had to be won by going aggro with fulminator mage and chancellor of the Spires. It's certainly not fast games.
How come you almost always default to 20 lands ?In this deck you obviously put money on emrakul, so you must set your mana to play the planeswalker asap. From games where I studied how much mana was necessary to hardcast archive trap I know that 25 lands is optimal, but 24 lands also useable.Tormenting voice and cathartic reunion will allow you to adjust whether or not it pays to go with a fast weenie strategy or the planeswalker approach. By discarding lands or collecting them.
What about fog instead of lightning bolt?
Ah, makes sense to play the deck carefully rather than reckless. And you will frequently get a chancellor mana and a land. How often did you activate leyline of abundance second ability ?Did abundance improve your self output ?Next time you might want to try out the lifegain stormcard.I can also sell you the idea of adding a single edge of autumn to the deck, but only one. It's my suggestion to all combo, but ironically doesn't work in my glimpse deck.I'm getting interested in the deck:)I could spend some days running it through my paperstrip method, just to see what evolution would do with this.Give me a small list of cards you really wanted to add to the deck but had to give up on during your building it.At what turn did you combo most often and what's your goal turn.If you can get to a decklist similar to the one that defeated you I can use it to train the deck on it.Do you remember which decktypes that brought you down to 2-5 life?Training against those will be sweet to do.Give me as many details as possible, if theres any of the cards you want to play that you only have 1 of. Do you have any cards you might want to invest in, but are unsure about.I could also walk you through how to do it on yourself, but it would mean a lot of work on your side.
It locks down the lands that the ld normally would, stall the mana base long enough for another ld to arrive and draws a replacement card for it's own effect, which keeps the steam up.How on earth did you get past rdw, which destroys your mana elves ?Am I missing something?I have been thinking of simian spiritguide to kickstart the red half of the deck.
I thought it was legal by being a masters card, but it isn't modern legal
Just discovered sinkhole was out of the question. Turned to spreading seas instead.
Remember that it can double dig when you have 4 mana.It enables visions of beyond much faster.
He's obviously given up on kaheera.Don't do that, the companion errata have only made companion more nuts. Now that you physically draw the card, all cards printed that has to do with hand size are affected by it, which means this card now has several thousand new interactions compared to before the errata...Read my post.
Wickeddarkman tells you stream of thought is beating thought scour, do you listen?(Vaguely disguised magic meme)
Oh, yeah and take a look at stream of thought
You never helped me out with the voters war, luckily I won without your help.In return I will not tell you about the wonders of stream of thought.
It's the top deck on page three of my "site".Geomancer's mill gambit.Tagged ld-mill I've compiled a lot of valuable picks in the sideboard that will be tested against my test panel.Modern is actually crawling forward at a slow pace, so I'd only need info on the newest builds based on new cards.Past decks are sort of covered by being very typical.
Modern. I got 30 old decks that aren't completely alien to the current meta. If anything they have more power from banned cards.
Several.Tron traditionally used emrakul against mill, and is probably still holding mill-decks back by the popularity of tron.I also test against rw prison with planeswalkers (nahiri and that white one) and bloodmoon, and then there is ru with that red card costing 5 which throws emrakul on the board with haste.Three different strategies in all.
Yeah, I've had a lax period too this week, but is back at testing my ld-mill. So far it's wonderfull against all controlled and combo, but loses to aggro and emrakul. That translate into a few cards dealing with untargetables, like consume flesh. I'm running the gauntlet (about 30 outdated testdecks) but so far it's just aggro and emrakul that needs to be addressed.
Try out Leyline of abundance or leyline of vitality. Also study elfcombo decks and try to integrate infinite mana as a second option. Some of the newer untargetable mana generators that brings you any color might also be usefull.
It's decent. There's already a life/draw combo in bg that I discovered by myself. This card will make it much better. The green card was part of an master edition before ixalan or earlier. It cost 1g and enabled one to use a black card to convert life into draws. It was pretty obvious and I once made a post about it, but think I deleted it.
Woe weather the storm ?They went and made new storm cards ?That's just to supply the new players I guess.Anything good out there?
