Nice call on stream of thought.
Do you think the decktypes that used to play thought scour will play this?
(Goyf, dredge, that black 5/5 fish)

Did you misspell mayhem on purpose?
Mayham might be because the deer/moose is for dinner.

Hello, hello.
First of all, I'd like to say I like the way you structure your decks into types and variants.

Secondly, I'm considered an authority on mill, but have been distracted a couple of years.

Looking at your list tells me that you have at least some grasp of what you are doing, but have not turned it into a competitive deck so far.

Here's my harsh criticism on going competitive.

Jace, fraying sanity, psychic corrosion and traumatize slows the deck down. Sure traumatize/fraying is nice, but all of these belongs to mill with counterspells to protect them.

The rest of the deck is considered to be more into the speed-mill category

Speed mill has an overwhelmingly fast rate at milling, but can only set aside a few cards to deal with the decktypes that usually slaughter mill. (Aggro and decks based on using the graveyard)

Traditionally mill has had no real defence against aggro except for ensnaring bridge, and the best way to stop the graveyard is leyline of the Void (which doesn't affect your own grave)

Wotc has recently made several nice mill-creatures that gives the needed edge against aggro.
Hedron crab is the oldest and is often seen with Augur of bolas.

Minister of impediments, manic scribe, merfolk secretkeeper, overwhelmed apprentice and iceberg centric are the newest additions to this protection, and you should try some of them out to find your best defence.

Your goal should always be to pick the cards that mill the most if you go with speedmill.

Cards like minister of impediments and shriekhorn might not look threatening, but they each mill 6 cards if left alone.
And a card wasted on one of your permanents is a card that won't target you.

Tome scour is also a classic, but there are some cards most people overlook when considering millcards.

Dream twist potentially mills 6 cards, and mostly fits into a deck where you self mill, but having 1 or 2 in the deck gives you some extra fuel when you run out of steam.

Speaking of steam, you should really consider getting your hands on stream of thought, it can enable you to play more dream twists and it will reshuffle vital cards into your deck. You only have 4 fetchlands, and the optimal number is 9. By playing more fetchlands you will have an increased chance of drawing what stream of thought puts back into your deck. (Mostly I'd pick mind funeral glimpse, and then the third fastest mill) stream of thought can also be double cast when you have 4 mana, which is a mill of 8 cards and a lot of spells reentering your deck to be drawn.

I await your adjustments ;)

I've made an anti companion page.
Any additions in hate cards you can think of?

I've covered phyrexian metamorph, pithing needle, nevermore, meddling mage and similar.

Have you ever made a splitcard deck?

When splitcards are in any zone except for being cast, their cost counts as both halves, which means most of them have very high castingcost.

Then there are cards like sin prodder and mindshrieker which can exploit this (theres even a burn spell and a storm spell exploiting this)

How about such a deck being your next project :) ?

The correct "name" is traditionally "zompires"

I look forward to see a zompirates and vampire deck as well ;)

Well, there's whirlwind denial that can stop a billion storm spells.
Supreme will that can counter or search for your combo.

And I got 20 other picks costing only 1 blue mana and 2 or three colourless, which fits the manareducers.
Why play so many uu when you can go with u. ?

Well, knowing you you would have gotten there eventually.

Here's the others.

No escape
Broken ambitions
Calculated dismissal
Clash of wills
Condescend
Convoluted
Countervailing winds
Deny existence
Deny the divine (flexible)
Disdainful stroke
Exclude
Sage's dousing
Scatter arc
Spell Blast
Spell burst (permanent countering)
Spell contortion
Syncopate (gravehate)
Thoughtbind
Unwind (get more mana)

Most of these will draw you replacing cards.

I've gone ahead ;)

This is part of what I mean, when I miss you having more of a killer instinct.

All of these spells can be cherypicked to gear your deck up against practically any deck.

I research my choices a lot more, then I get the cards if the deck wins against the panel of proxydecks.

It actually looks like it could work.

I used to have notes on designs dating back to the 2005 and forward. Threw it all out because I was so close to lose my home.

What search engine do you use?
I currently use scryfall.
In that place I just need to figure out out key phrases that might be usefull to the deck, and regulating the castingcost helps too.

Then I scroll down and write interesting names, and when I'm done with key phrases I either get some idea of new phrases or I write in all cards in mtgvault for a closer study.

Blue has two enchantments that makes a creature a pinger in case you want access to counterspells.

Psionic gift
Hermetic study

There are plenty of creatures with death touch so you can actually make versions of this deck in dimir, golgari, simic and izzet colors

Quicksilver dagger is one of my favourites in decks like this
