Still moon cavalier belongs in there as well in my eyes.
And playing a lot of mill I can also say that during times with bloodmoon or landdestruction memory sluice is quite nice in mill.

There's also the spell that draws you a card for each bird you control. In torment or close to that cycle

Has anyone run an analysis of how few clones it takes to combo with gyruda?

Oh, there are many tricks to run with this deck.
If you play with enchantments that protect your other enchantments then you might as well dig into some more of the theros cycle. I remember seeing a recent lifegain deck with most cards from there. It was actually modern and looked promising.

With the great trick being enchanted evening/aurathief you should have at least 6 enchantments that makes your othe enchantment uncounterable.

With Serra's sanctum you should also have 2-3 leyline of sanctity against combo and 2-3 leyline of the Void against reanimate/dredge. Possibly some other leyline as well. I remember using leyline of singularity against a variety of aggro. It takes care of doubles and especially tokens.

Cards like opalescence and academy rector should also be thought about.

In the event that you manage to play enchanted evening you should have something that can take out enchantments,
Preferably something that can do so continually. (I know there's an efficient pick in the old ravnica cycle) also you might want to use æthervial as backup safety if you decide to play therosstyle. The 1gg centaur that brings life with lands and the nyx-ram fleece or something were the best lifegain.

I must build a structure, or be enslaved by another man's (a famous author said that. The world is full of material on how to enslave people, noone writes on how to tear down governments.

Most of the time I enslave people unconsciously. I'm trying to figure out how I do it.
If you look at the hot decks page you will see me hold 5 decks in there, while others have 3 at most.

Ironically it's not my deckbuilding that fascinates, but rather my article mode.

I feel like a god who created good only to see the world turn evil.

Part of the article talent is probably my 30 years of telling stories within roleplaying universes.

Tell a story the right way, and it crawls into the mind of people and nests and controls them.

Richard Dawkins thought memes lead their own lives, but most memes are really designed to be spread by humans

Best big critters have shroud.
I used to play this in a merfolk deck with gaea's cradle.
Called dirtfish and the only green merfolk back then were from llorwyn

At this moment rdw is heavily present and monocolored.
What happens when you start meeting threecolored decks?

It could bring fleet swallower or havengul into play faster, but yeah, it's a bit of a gamble on the colors, so don't change them. If the opponent has no counterspell it's a dead card, but that might not be such a bad thing for 1 card.
With the current meta of rdw burn/prowress it's probably not such a good idea, but keep it in mind when the meta switches.

If you often get into trouble against counterspell decks you could try out summoner's trap.

Possibly 1 in maindeck and 2 in sb or reverse.

Needs more stream of thought.
Nah, just kidding.
Here's what's going on.
I know my mill, and I frequently see hundreds of players in here imitate each others mill with no real changes, so I want to bring the
Card to their attention.

Knowing that 90% will resist if I tell them to adapt it, it can sometimes be easier to bring the card to the attention of other players who might use it.

So, having also played with thought scour and knowing the past decks of modern I can see that there are plenty of niche decks that can actually prosper from using the card.

By making those see the general difference between thought scour and stream of thought some will adopt the card in their design.

That will cause the card to become more visible to mill players and will speed up my altering of mill.

I have campaigned for cards in the past that were adopted by the pro's some weeks later after posting about it, and now by explaining this to you, you've ruined my brilliant scheme.

A curse is twice upon the, trice it and be damned externally!

There are two types of control.
Controlling yourself and controlling others.
