These type of decks are very nice. Red burn and blue control. It sure is tasty stuff!!!This is casual, so considered Sphinx-Bone Wand? That guy can get brutal, in long games, I have personally took 15 damage on a single turn with Wand against me. 7 one hit and then 8 the next hit. Plus you have the Goblin that lowers spells too...so Wand would get charged quickly. Would consider it for multiplayer games. People are hating on Kiln Fiend, personally I love it as a second turn drop in this deck. However, as the guy that requested the deck said (dooball) you could take it out for Nivix Cyclops. If taking out Kiln Fiend...another good choice would be Wee Dragonauts. I think the Flying rocks.

Done with the initial deck. Please, anyone have any advice?
Idiot who outsmarted himself?I am confused, does the deck not work?
With the cumulative upkeep and flicker...you have White cards as options...along with your red land destruction:Energy Storm. It prevents instant/sorcery damage and hates against flying creatures. So...it would do with blue fly decks and red burn decks. It would be an awesome mid game drop...and hold on to flicker as long as i can, then use it to reset the upkeep counters on Energy Storm. Revered Unicorn...maybe...Prismatic Circle...maybe...but story circle seems better. Braid of Fire...that card confuses me, it is red, and don't know if flicker would be good with it. Brand of Ill Omen is okay. Creature hate to the max.
Thanks, as always.
I know Flicker can abuse stuff like cumulative upkeep...but what about fading? How would something like parallax tide work with Flicker? Would the card keep resetting to 5 fade counters if you flick it? If so...what happens to the lands that you faded away? Do they keep coming back? And with cumulative upkeep...about the only good one i see, I may be missing some red/white cards, is something like Varchild's war-riders...is that a viable card for what I want to try and do?
http://www.mtgvault.com/jessie/decks/flick-my-bic/I noticed the word "blink" and I thought this the deck to post this link on. I was looking up cloudshift/flicker/momentary blink/into the mist/etc.I wanted to do something with it.IF you can..check out the link, the comments/and the versions of the deck (in the Deck Description page).
Totally up to you. I would play test it and see how it works.
Agreed, ALL HAIL THE EGOTIST!
Lodestone bauble could work.I will check it out.
And I seen Venser and Mistmeadow Witch. Very are viable...not sure I want to go that way. As said, it would be those guys...followed up with a Snapcaster. I am sure it would be brutal...however, blue/white control seems to be done to death. But I do get what you are saying...I could use more stuff then just "when enters the battlefield" cards.

You can bypass echo cost if you play cloudshift or momentary blink on Avalanche Riders at the right time. You blink him out when Echo is required to be paid..and then blink him back in, and the game assumes you paid the echo. Same as morph. With resetting your stuff...yep, can wreck havoc on Planeswalkers. Reset imprint artifact: new target for Ischron ScepterReset your enchantments: different choices for your O-ringReset cumulative upkeeps (RIGHT UP YOUR ALLEY!) or blow stuff up with something like Reality Acid. But I am more focused on the "when enters' battlefield part.
I am 99 percent sure that they do.
I am leaning toward:4 Cloudshift3 Turn to Mist3 GhostwayFlicker is very any permanent, and that is nice...but I do not have anything to benefit with that besides creatures. Ghostway will do two of my Avalanche/Metamorph/Settlers at the same time. Cloudshift is one mana, and the fastest. Finally, Turn to Mist can target opponent's creatures and also last until end of turn...so it gets your creatures through stuff like Doom Blade or Wrath of God...where Cloudshift will not. But that leaves out Liberate, Otherworldly Journey, Flicker, and Momentary Blink. Is that the right call?
Need feedback. It is a private link. :)http://www.mtgvault.com/jessie/decks/flick-my-bic/
One more question.Something like Fortune Thief. IF i have him morphed. My opponent decides to hit me for 20 damage. I have 5 life. Can I play Cloudshift on a face down Fortune Thief, exiling him and bringing him back into play, face up...and will I die or will Fortune Thief trigger and reduce my life to 1 instead? Sorry i am so dumb with the rules.
Morph creatures...i can get any of them with 3 colorless plus one Cloudshift or Momentary Blink. So that opens doors for monsters like:Krosan ColossusTitanic BulvoxMaelstrom DjinnBut i already have awesome red creature options available. Something like Avalanche Rider in play and Akroma (morphed for 3 mana in play) and Imperial Hellkite (also morphed). Then play Ghostway. Now I get to nuke my opponent's land. I get a 6/6 flyer/trample. And i get a 6/6 flyer. Iffy about Blistering Firecat. He trample/haste 7/1. My hesitance is that he is already only 4 mana to cast, as is. If I morph him I am paying 3 colorless mana. Then to use Cloudshift...that is another mana, for the same price I could just pay the original 4 mana. HOWEVER, the original casting cost includes 3 red mana, which sucks!!! PLUS, I can keep him morphed and use CLoudshift/Momentary Blink at the perfect time (when my opponent is tapped out with creatures and/or lands) for a very quick 7/1 haste/trample creature.
Okay. This is going to START A LOT OF FIGHTS.But...here goes. I nominate another creature as the BEST CREATURE in Magic. It isn't Storm Crow.Hear me out, hear me out!!! Don't burn me at the stake! I know how amazing Storm Crow is!!!However, I want to officially state that I believe, THE BEST CREATURE in Magic is SCORNFUL EGOTIST.Yep, there, I said it!!!! Let the fights begin!!Sure, 2 mana for a 1/2 flyer is BRUTAL!!! AMAZING!!! FABULOUS!!!But Scornful Egotist is a, for THE SMALL, VERY SMALL, SUPER SMALL AMOUNT OF 8 MANA, is a 1/1 creature!!!You heard me, slap yourself, shake your head out of the stupor you are in. Yes, Egotist is THAT AMAZING!!! Storm Crow, your days are numbered, my friend!!! Let the "scorn" begin!!!
Question 1:What is the right mixture of cards like Momentary Blink (which exiles and brings right back) vs. cards like Turn to Mist (which exiles and brings back at the end of turn). Turn to Mist is much more versatile and can allow for a lot more stuff. Question 2:If I play Turn to Mist on my Riders, and they come back at the "end of turn." Does that mean I can or cannot play Cloudshift on the Rider again, and the Rider (IF i can play the Cloudshift in question) will just come back at the beginning of my upkeep next turn? Question 3:Very interested in this card and in this ruling:Phyrexian Metamorph. "Any enters-the-battlefield abilities of the copied permanent will trigger when Phyrexian Metamorph enters the battlefield. Any "as [this] enters the battlefield" or "[this] enters the battlefield with" abilities of the chosen permanent will also work."Does that mean If i have a Avalanche Rider in play, and I play Metamorph...I will destroy 1 or 2 lands of my opponents? The part about "...abilties of the chosen permanent will also work." Work doesn't mean trigger, right? So, it will only be 1 land?
