Daze is very nice card to consider.
Force Spike is too.

Okay, so up the Overrun and Beast Within.
Now, you need drawing power, don't you?
Add Harmonize.
I would suggest take out 5 creatures for those cards.

Good luck.

What is an SCG Open? A Tourney? I am envious. Never been to one.

Thanks...but do you think it can actually win a game every once in awhile, that is the hardest thing to do with a theme deck...make it to where it has a chance at winning.

I wanted to do an Edgar Allan Poe deck...but there were only 5 cards!
I still say a Literary EDH deck could be done.

Do you have a favorite writer? Writers?

I will say this...if I have to be typecast into "that guy" I wouldn't mind being "theme guy."
IT takes thought, effort, card searching, etc.

Anyways, if you get a chance to look at it, I would appreciate it.

Maybe an EDH deck could be possible using all of the famous author quotes on cards.

Why the Scroll? It is 2 mana, for 3 damage and 1 card discarded. And the 3 damage isn't even a sure thing because you might not have 1 of your 6 Demons in play.

How about Howling Mine? That is 2 mana, and your opponent takes 1 extra damage every turn. That adds up.

And Burning Inquiry. That is 3 damage for 1 mana. Plus it would fill your graveyard with creatures for Whip to have fodder for.

Your Parasite card...it only has 4 red cards that actually stay on the board. That isn't good. Need more red cards that stay in play. Since you only have 7 Mountains...i suggest adding Manaforge Cinder. It counts as red. It gives you mana stability. It is a first turn drop.

Good luck.
Check a few of my decks out, if you get the time.

Speaking of pawning deck links out...I have no shame...and I have noticed you seem to like literature (by noticing some of the titles of your decks)...so here you go.

William Shakespeare Flavor Text deck.
You got it, has to be original, right?
Cards with Shakespeare quotes on them.

Any feedback (or comment downvoting) welcome. :)

Tell me what you think...at least points for being original, right?

Whom next, Yeats, Blake, Edgar Allan Poe, Dante, Faulkner?

Absolutely, not saying for this deck...sorry.
I meant in general...i think, somehow, Carnival and Waste Not could work together.

This deck, as is, is very solid. And thus, makes it hard to suggest cards.
