If they ever reprint them in From The Vaults, you'd better bet I'm buying four boxes. I already missed out on getting Berserk and Mox Diamond :( Now those boxes sell for $90 ea!

That'd certainly do the trick, but it's too combo heavy I think. Isochron requires too much of a build around to be worth disrupting the continuity you already have with the deck.
It'd be easy to splash U if you ran Marsh Flats and the W/U, U/B, and W/B shock lands. I wouldn't add a third color just by banking on Forbidden Orchard. That card in this deck is just begging for LD (which, you can expect more people to be running Ghost Quarter casually since it's being reprinted), and relying on it for manafixing will break the deck's back if it sees too much hate.
I agree. I like the defensive build a lot better. I think it'd be more fun to play, both with and against. The shell of this deck certainly does have a lot of flexibility, though, but the aggro build would (perhaps) speed things up to the point that the interactions won't be prolonged enough to enjoy. At the very least, Mercy Killing is still worth putting in the SB vs big green and beatdown match ups. After all, I don't really know why the signet is in your SB ;) Mana fixing is main deck material unless your SB exists to splash a new color.
That /would/ be a brutal card. You could simply swap out Ethereal Haze for it if you wanted to play a more aggressive game. Between Suture Priest, Blood Seeker, Hissing Miasma, Batwing Brume, and Stronghold Discipline, taking out one of their big beaters (which would otherwise circumvent having most of those spells) could be a game ender.
Ayup. A lot of people feel that way ;) Doesn't bother me none, I've still yet to play Legacy..
Good news for deck builders -- if you cut the Alpha lands from this, it'll only cost ~ $900 + Lands to build! *cough* Also, hate to break it to you, Misstep is banned (as of Oct 1) http://www.wizards.com/magic/magazine/article.aspx?x=mtg/daily/feature/161a
Hunted Phantasm would be kind of crazy, but even without splashing another color, Hunted Horror is one of my all time favorite creatures. Phantasm would certainly be much more effective, though.
Munchkin, as in D&D slang for power gamer :P
Oh! Right. When I read the Beast, I thought of "The Great Black Beast of Aaaaarrrrrggghhh".. which doesn't really make sense with Vizzerdrix, and there it is already with Witch Maw. I had forgotten about the artwork for Ovinomancer, and come to think of it I thought the exact same thing when I first saw the card. Evil Eye of Orms-By-Gore plays almost exactly like the Trojan Rabbit does in the movie.. except that it cannot be blocked except by walls, where-as the Trojan Rabbit should have cannot be blocked except by walls. Still, preventing your other creatures from attacking.. fits perfectly!
Amazing! A few concerns, however -- 1) Tim blows things up, Fireslinger would be more appropriate I think; 2) Where's the killer rabbit? My best guess is Moonglove Changeling, because it is a rabbit with deathtouch? 3) Where's the trojan rabbit? No ideas for that one :P
Nice draft! Last time I played limited was at Magic Celebration and my packs were stacked like that too. Round 1 I opened Grim Lavamancer, round 2 Chandra, the Firebrand, and round 3 Inferno Titan. Got 3 solid red rares, and some good spells to combo with Chandra.
Actually, I hadn't considered the synergy between Bloodseeker/Suture Priest and Forbidden Orchard. That along could tip the scales in your favor. Just wasn't sure if one or both were preferable over another classic Orzhov card like Castigate or something. Having just noticed that synergy, however, as well as how it plays into everything else (needing more creatures to offset the life loss from Souls, Pillory, and Bond), the two of them tie the deck together very nicely.
The Alpha-Unlimited dual lands are my favorite :P All of the benefits, none of the drawbacks.. I swear I'm going to have to invest like.. $2,000 one day (when I'm rich) to get a full play set >.> Second to those are the Ravnica shock lands, but that's only because they also have a basic land type and are therefore very flexible with fetches. The only problem I have with the Shadowmoor dual lands is that they require a colored mana already to produce more. I prefer lands that can produce the color I need with no other stipulation, except perhaps paying life or etb tapped.
Way too combo heavy. If a combo is more than 2 cards required, it'll lose to a competent opponent. If you're going to run something with a 4 piece combo, it had better share synergy with the rest of the deck. Gilder, Mantle, and Training Grounds have no synergy with this deck at all, ergo it'll lose.
This is pretty sweet! It's full of shenanigans, and its win-con is shenanigans. I love the psychology of this deck, when everything is working properly it is like my Blood Money deck -- the opponent just won't know what to do! Damned if you do, damned if you don't :) Though mine is a bit more creature dependent, whereas yours provides the creatures free of charge :P Looks insanely fun, and it's very budget-able too! I'm just curious if Suture Priest and Blood Seeker play a major roles. Looks like they can be replaced for something else, though I'm not sure what, if anything.
Homeword Path would conflict with his Pillory of the Sleepless, Contaminated Bond, and Souls of the Fautless; each of which are good counters to Sleeper Agent. The opponent is losing two life each turn, and therefore will want to attack with their mighty 3/3. Each of those cards makes them bow their head in resignation and just eat the damage.
I typically don't like to run so many 1-of / 2-of either, except for lands. I make a few exceptions now and then, though :) Bitter Ordeal, for example, is there to be a tutored bomb after detonating Neviny's. I do also have this propensity towards building toolbox decks, and that is made even more apparent when I'm running tutors.. I may refine this down a bit still, but cards like Thoughtseize, being the only discard spell, could go to fit something more potent with mill. But I included it because mill itself doesn't control whats in an opponents hand already. That, and opening with a Thoughtseize has won me games by itself in the past.. a lot of the cards in here are like that, carefully considered for their utilitarian roles within this deck (or at least, I tried to :P). Sunken Ruins is a good idea, over Drowned Catacombs, and maybe a Darkslick Shore. I get kind of lazy when it comes time to put together my land base, which is bad because it is the most important part of a deck XD
It can fuel a LOT actually. I mean, mill with a turn 2 Emrakul? Who'd've thunk it? :P
That's actually obscenely good in Mill o.o It would enable you to run a colorless kill spell as an alt win condition, as well as fit with the Sacrament -> Mind Funeral combo. Love learning about cards ^_^
