Paladin + Akrasan is a lethal combo. My buddy made a crazy G/W Human tribal with a sub-theme of Exalted...it's damn good.

Sigiled Paladin and drop the Wayfarers for Honor of the Pure Boom =]
That's the idea of Taps =P That said, you should have seen the original Taps...god damn that deck was annoying...O_O
lol ok buddy =]
That really depends. If you want it to be a WW with a side of obnoxious life-gain, then yeah, they're excellent, and will add more potential bonuses to your other ally dudes, which never hurts. But if you don't care for life-gain with this, then I'd say you might be better off with other things...it's totally up to you =P
If you're going the Ally route, I've found that in addition to Hada and Kazandu, Ondu Cleric will have your opponents screaming =]
If you have an issue with the Latin, then take it up with the Latin scholar who wrote that line in a poem 2,000 years ago. Yeah...
-_- I can accept Tribal, sure, but Extraction...no way man. I've won countless Legacy tourneys with Extraction. I've been playing it since I was 6 years old...and it's never let me down =P
Wait, are you talking about Extraction or Tribal? <_<
Pulsing is indeed nice, and I've actually pulsed my own tokens for a big Bitter Ordeal hit =P Maybe it won't "murder", but it's a lot of speed given to a pretty slow format, and that's nasty...
Hmmm...I'll run it by the others for sure. We might just take that and make an entirely different design to be honest. Appreciate the help man =]
Casual archtype?! >={
Pleeeeeeeeeaaaaaasssse? =}
That's what we eventually decided too. It's a tough choice, since Surgery makes it so much easier, but overall I'm happy with what we've created thus far.
Imagine how good Torpor Orb is. Now make it an instant. Now make that able to also target other permanents... In short, that's why =P
You're running too many fetchlands to be honest. While they do help to speed up a deck and aid in versatility with dual lands, too many can actually over-speed the deck past its own capabilities...I'd drop a few for additional duals. As for the best counter, it depends mostly on what the deck needs to protect itself from most. In your case, I think Flusterstorm and/or Mental Misstep would be best in reality, as your deck is most vulnerable to instants/sorceries Hope that helps =]
I'm really liking the landbase...I might have to run some of them by the guys for the Extraction design =] I'm not so sure about using the Fire and Ice. I think Bitterblossum is going to murder the format, so the black protection from Light and Shadow would be invaluable, and the pro white would also save you from nasty white disruption =] Ethan's right, the deck is almost Legacy fast, and that should be interesting in Modern =P
http://www.wizards.com/magic/magazine/article.aspx?x=mtg/daily/ld/144 It's basically Legacy, except all the speed is gone and ever deck got its balls chopped off -_-
We wanted to try an altered version of my WBUG design I made for PAL, due to its success, but I think you're right, Modern just limits things too much to go that route =/ But now I'm torn because Surgery is beastly with Ordeal, and makes it take a much smaller grave-count...
Just run 2 of them =] btw, can I ask both you and ragged (and WnB if he's around) to check out my latest deck? It's a major project and we need all the help we can get (turns out Modern just murdered Extraction...)
