THIS IS NOT MY DECK! But yeah, Sundial would be nasty...

BSZ with Flourishing Defenses does indeed make even more tokens. If I pay more than 1 for the X in BSZ it gets really crazy... Let's say I have 5 tokens and play a BSZ where X is 3 and there's 5 other creatures out. First I put a -1/-1 on all my tokens and the 5 other creatures, then I put out 10 tokens, put a -1/-1 counter on those, put in 10 more/new tokens, etc. This would end up giving Bitter Ordeal a "grave storm" effect of around 30-40 depending on other factors. That's enough to flat-out win in almost every case... With Doubling Season the effects are exponential =P
I have a sideboard for the deck that has a number of anti-flying things because it really does have trouble with flying stuff =/ I tend to use this against decks with very little flying though, because I like it how it is and the SB, while effective, isn't as much fun to play =/ Even so, the BoPs and Cloudgoat provide pretty decent defense against the occasional flyer
Look at Rite of Consumption. Now look at Abby. You're welcome =P Btw, I'm back bitches! =P
Omg...I just got back from a week vacation and holy balls...I have a looooooot of comments to read O_O Anyways, I built this only a few days before I left, and so I haven't really had much time to finagle it to how I want it to be...give me some time and I'll probably have this changed up a little =P One thing though, I thought WoF wasn't standard anymore?
I wanted to add so many more cards than I could possibly ever fit...those guys included. That's the sign of a general you love...there's an endless list of cards you want to use =P
I've thought about using Devouring Greed before, and I'm still mulling around the idea. I might try it for a few games and see how it does... Btw, I'm back and holy hell a lot has happened since I've been gone O_o
Eh, I figured it was, but then why are Archon's not just called Angels too?
The singular Extirpate has saved me on more than one occasion. Even before Mental Misstep, getting through the swarm of counters thrown at you without Split Second could be tough. Now with MM, people are very willing to pay 2 life to keep their deck from getting gutted =/ Split Second makes their responses useless, and is a solid "Deal with it" sort of answer. It can make, and has made, a huge difference. I feel I should warn you...All types of Extraction have a rather steep learning curve. This one in particular is incredibly skill-intensive...so take the possibility of investing in it with a large grain of salt =/
Oh hell, I forgot about Narc. Thanks man!
Yeah, it's one of the more versatile of the dual cards. I love Seek obviously, but Hide is...meh... Are you thinking of swapping out the Ooze for another Goyf?
I'm starting to think...after playing this and other decks with it...that it could be a good idea to ban or at least restrict Maelstrom Pulse from Tribal. Sure, Pyroclasm and the like are nasty against the token spewing tribes, but Pulse just says "3 mana: Target token using tribe loses" -_-
Sometimes it's a nice break to play mindless decks after a number of games playing PAL =/
I know that (I use Seek for cryin' out loud), I mean do you tend to only use one over the other, or do you find both of them helpful?
You should man, it's tons of fun =P Oh, and dredge is activated as a substitute to drawing a card. For this reason, each use of Dredge requires a draw clause. If you had 2 in the yard, and had used something that let you draw 3 cards, you could dredge for 5 to get one back, draw a card, then dredge 5 to get the other back too! (Or any other combination of that)
=O Well that's a shame...=/
Yo Ethan, do you have any tribal decks?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wacYm5Z_Mf0 "Deal with it" =P
Yup =P
lol now you've got me trying to think of a better 4-drop... Haven't thought of one yet =[ How does Scavenging Ooze perform in the deck? I was wondering about that dude...And do you use both Fire and Ice or just one of them?
