Don't worry, they're just getting renovations. Starting with Painter's, I'm going through each major evolution of the deck to understand why it is where it is right now. The next one I'm working on is Nether Void :D
Wow, I hope nobody gets a Torpor Orb in play against you...
Bleep Bloop! You're on the front page again! The only standard deck I can actually understand other than Tezz(I have two friends who play it for standard)! Kudos Ethan, kudos
... I now know an Elf I like, and it has a freaking dinosaur. XD I really like this deck, it's stompy. I don't really know what else to say, I've never really designed one, so I don't know if I can even begin to be of any help
Eh, I can't help standard. I really only play eternal formats and casual :/
Wow... I lose the game... Also, never really heard of 4chan except on XKCD, so I think I'mma avoid that madness.
Fish, Goblins, Rock, Team, Zoo, Affinity, ANT, TES, Doomsday, Reanimator, NO Aggro, Intuitive Elves, Landstill, Painter's Stone, MUC, Stax, Eva Green, Pox, Deadguy, Canadian Threshold, Countertop Bant, Thoptertop, Enchantress, Lands, Tempo, Horizons, Cephalid Breakfast, Sneak & Tell, Hypergenesis, Mighty Quinn, Countersliver, and Belcher. Off the top of my head, and those are just some of the things you should run into if you go to a SCG Open.
Everything is a multiple of four?
The deck is unfocused, it's slow even for a deck of its type, and it's designed like something for standard. For Legacy, if your deck isn't designed to win within the first four turns, you need MASSIVE amounts of control. I mean, you can try it at a tournament, but I wouldn't do it at one with a price tag.
It's a neat idea, but it's not quite tournament ready yet. If you really want to play Bolas in Legacy, I've seen people run him as a secondary win condition in Dream Halls/Conflux.
Malfegor only triggers when it enters sadly, but that is still one massive kaboom. I hadn't noticed Personal Tutor here, and yeah, it'd definitely be the one to cut. I spent a WHILE testing that after Mystical Tutor got banned in Legacy, most depressing stage for the deck I can think of since they unbanned Entomb :/ And I think if you really want to abuse It's sacrifice effect, you should look into the poxes :P Hope you have a nice vacation, and hope you don't get trapped in a roundabout. It is not pleasant.
Judgeman says; Stiflenought still works. There's no valid reason it doesn't, because Stifle can still counter a triggered ability, and the sacrifice clause on Dreadnought happens to be a triggered ability. Backed by the oracle text provided by both cards on the official WotC gatherer, and by a second opinion judge.
I think it's the So cycle, I dunno though, I don't really pay much attention to popular names like that. The dragon idea seems like a good idea at first, but I can't really think of any dragons I'd want to reanimate other than for the Worldgorger infinite :/ Also, I'm thinking about replacing Llawan in my board for Elesh Norn. Does wonders against Fish, Dredge, and sooo many other decks it isn't funny. So I'd say if you want to run Iona, you'd have to wind up getting rid of Victory's Herald. The lifelink is pretty awesome in Reanimator, but I don't think she herself is worth it personally.
Bleargh, I had an entire page of thoughts, and auto-correct killed it. Over everything, my main question is why no Iona? I dunno about in vintage, but in legacy she wins games if she resolves. All in all this is a great first list, mine took me a looooong time to get workable. It's not as easy an archetype as a lot of people think, unless you're hardwired for its kind of thinking.
All that is possibly missing is Flipflop Frog... Dude, this is kind of awesome for that.
Derp on my part there, derp on my part.
I don't remember who ran this list, might have been DedWards, I dunno, but somebody ran something that just amused me to no end. 3 Soul's Attendant 3 Soul Warden 2 Suture Priest 4 Forbidden Orchard. I like how you've shaped it up, and I hope you're enjoying it. I'm personally no good with lifegain, but I hear it's fun.
And this right here is why my ANT says 'combo-based', not tournament quality. THIS is tournament grade storm, this indeed is an epic storm. I however, have never liked Grapeshot in any deck. I understand its purpose, but I rarely ran into a situation where I actually had to use it. I find it a bit like Kird Ape has become for Zoo, once a proud member, but now outmoded by the current meta.
