I think the ramp count came to about sixteen with the lands, I had a rather... unorthodox... Win condition placed in the deck, in the form of a singleton Ulamog.

... I would feel stupid paying that much for Underground Sea...

Mental Misstep, while a powerful anti-meta card, is NOT worth that much, foil or not. I could go and pre-order everything I want from New Phyrexia with that!

Well I went 2:3 against them, it's just one knew how the deck should be played. I dread the chance I might wind up playing you on workstation, because no matter the victor, it would be slaughter.

Also, since you're the person with more experience with artifacts than pretty much anybody; what's a good artifact creature for one mana? I'm currently using Court Homunculus in a casual deck, and the deck doesn't really attack except to win... It just makes the Homunculus seem wasted really.

I've only ever made white stax, and two Metal Workers wound up completing the deck for me. I agree that the deck is lock first, that's how a LOT of things I like go, but I found the added ramp made the locks easier to maintain.

White Stax is admittedly the weaker of the two, but it fed my toolbox fix. I really enjoy the toolbox approach to building, and it's one of the most dangerous toolboxes in Legacy right now.

Breakfast of champions! Also, why no Inkmoth? It makes this a reaaaally easy design to pull off, manlands made the polymorph emrakul/ulamog decks work, so why not this?

Mmkay Joe, you've got to stop this, I've drawn a line man. I've seen three netdecks of this today, and have actually lost a match to an aggro deck with reanimator now... This has NEVER happened...

Affinity has supplanted Goblins, and done it well enough to beat Reanimator, Storm, and Dredge. You win the cake for best aggro builder dude, you've not only outdone yourself this time, you've outdone freaking goblins.

What? No metal worker to go with all this? Saaad panda.

I've never really liked MUD Stax personally, I prefer mono-white stax for the Enlightened Tutors. But yours is actually an interesting list for it, I especially approve of running Tangle Wire, it gives so many options to stax really. Three mana for a card that slows aggro, messes with countertop, AND can keep storm back a turn? Yes, very yes!

Due Respect, THAT's what I forgot! I've been working on just fighting fire with douchier fire like I usually do, but that could work!

Believe me, I have trouble with it too... Reanimator is easy because the spells are all similar, but the creatures are modern.

I want a reprint of everything in the old style personally, I like the old art better.

The joke there was that you broke me dude, I give basically. I need an amazing hand to beat your two newest affinity decks.

I've already seen your other one netdecked, and it tore through my storm deck so fast it wasn't even funny. I would have won turn three, but they pulled a cranial plating... I'm seriously impressed with what you've done to the deck man, I've NEVER had to think about interacting with my opponent other than counters with that deck.

actually FoW has been in tournament use since I started MtG, the only thing I got to say before a lot of people realized it was Stoneforge... I've not really been playing all that long, I just kind of dove head first into legacy lol

woooooah dude, no. Those are playsets! Those are just the most expensive playsets from reanimator, the whole deck is basically money cards though, which is why it costs so much

Phyrexian Obliterater, ooooh it touches my tralala...

On a less Gunther-y note, this is a really great deck for standard, and I congratulate you on making a competent extraction deck in standard. This is seriously pretty good for the format, but I think you should consider Mental Misstep. Counteract an opposing Surgical Extraction, or a Gobby for 2 life? Yes, very yes!

That's the first one I did, and it's the cheapest... My new one is going to cost about 1200 US, and I'm unemployed right now, and REFUSE to sell my guitar.
If you play, NEVER sell a Jackson. The neck is like crack, you fall in looove with the compound radius, especially if you play stuff like I do.
