Yo there, just poping in to tell you that I've copied two mill-decks that've won nice places in modern, meaning mill is now doable!

Yo there URBANY, just poping in to tell you that I've copied two mill-decks that've won nice places in modern, meaning mill is now doable!
Great news! I've discovered that two mill-decks have actually won in modern! One very close to a hybrid of our builds, (Got third place) And another closer to your design on this page (got first place) So it's possible to mill the bastards. Now with two mill decks that have won in modern, we actually have something solid to build on... Perhaps a hybrid between the two?
Wow, this page has grown so huge, that it took me at least 5 minutes to write this line... delete some posts. Especially all the stuff you have read. because if people visiting this site for the first first time clicks on this page, they think slow shiatzu page and goes away. clean up this mess :)
Yeah, main problem is it doesn't fit the colors of the deck, and duals are expensive. Singularitys greatest force is that about 41% of the time it doesn't get countered.
Such a clever ploy, I had to like... I'm not into standard, but it's a nice way to show people that this place can be used for many purposes...
yes, but so can your opponent! If your opponent plays with say 4 tarmogoyf, 4 delver of secrets and 4 kird ape, and no leyline he is going to win against your stuff. But, if you have play with leyline he is only allowed to have 1 of each in play = 3 creatures, and if you play with 1 of each it will be 3 creatures vs 40 creatures. A much better fight for you!!!
Because your opponents stuff will also be legendary :) that would give you the advantage of being able to play everything without problems, where your opponent would be stranded with lots of doublets in their hand, playing 1/4 of what you can play :D
Okay :) good too know
Hmm! Perhaps it would also help focus your readers? Delete all irrelevant / outdated replies :)
Well the most obvious thing I can think of, is to add leyline of singularity. and somehow add enough U mana. If you could expand this into 1 of each creature it might be an interresting thing...
For your eyes, (and a lot of others as well) Heres my shelldock isle + enter the infinite deck. http://www.mtgvault.com/wickeddarkman/decks/help-this-wdm-prototype/ Hope you have lots of suggestions...
Well, try completely freaking out and make a deck a each day, then delete anything that wasn't liked, start from scratch with that one and remake it in some new way. Sooner or later someone likes it, and you keep it, working from there on a next wave. Evolution will make your deck. Just be ready for a lot of rejection first, then you will learn what people like. Some stuff will pop up on the net that goes against the common belief of those around you, either because of newcommers or new cards where people forget the old, the best or the rest. Strike down on these people and explain to them why it wont work. Evolution will then prove you wrong someday?! then it's time to start all over or retire.
SOULOFMIRRODIN: I've always wondered what to extract from pod if you don't mill melira? The sackers?
SORRINMARKOV: But why only "like" 1 of your decks? The like function is there so that if noone notices your deck the day you post it, you can like it another day, which will make it pop up at the most recent "decks discussed list", giving it a second chance at being noticed... Or in this case, liking your own dimir-deck would give it 1 more point :) I'd have to admit that the toughest format out there is not vintage, not legacy or modern or even commander. It has to be sealed deck formats. Building a deck from a few packs you've just opened, with cards that you have not neccessarily gotten any knowledge of before that, is just insane...
Then psychic spiral should be better than the mind grind...
Tss, was not a problem :) What decktypes does he play?
Perhaps throw 1 surgical extraction into sideboard and remove 1 card from sideboard. Mindsculpt potentially mills less so I'd remove that if you don't want to touch the extraction.
There are some who uses 1-2 traumatise in their maindeck, but I've always disliked the card. I'd prefer to use haunted echoes instead :) Most of my mill-decks have been headaches to play... I'm better at designing them, than at playing them. Was it the v4 modern or v4 legacy ?
