It's a secondary win-con to use leyline-shapeshifters, but it's generally only useable untill m14 is released anyways :(

But think of it this way, if you use most of all the other ally's, play the excavator, then use karakas on it and play it again ;)
using shapeshifters to copy their most agressive/flexible stuff, then bouncing it with karakas should also be fun, so in essence the leyline only prevent you from going all in with everything you draw, but same happens to opponent, and potentially you will be the more flexible player!

Hmm, it will perhaps cheapen the deck by its very presence if you go for the "1 of each nonland permanent"
(Exception is the hunteds)

Oh, yeah, SORINMARKOV, you can "like" your own deck :)

Hmm, reckoner + blasphemous act?

And legacy is hellishly expensive. Being the higher lifeform, I have a pretty low amount of luxury, and far too many magic-cards. I'd like to see myself as a opportunist lifeform, but I'm pretty locked down in a niche :(

So the azoriuslikeaboss flirts with boros? Why not, that's how evolution came about :D

And have to leav now.

s'been fun taunting you ;)

Sure, it's monkeylike behavior, and darwin showed that I'm a monkey too.
But I am a wicked monkey! WICKEDDARKMONKEYMAN. with triple the amount of your posts.

Little monkey, meet the superior lifeform, then convert to esper, AND LEGACY!

(Consider that, as a small bite)

And now it failed!
His deck has more likes than yours...

And darwin show us that you are nothing but a monkey.

Standard or not, you are now a loser.

And I am far from a standard magic-player...

Like wicked said.

PUNY!!!

And now I will go "like" SORINMARKOV's design, so that he will win you puny little dispute.

ESPER controls you.

Give into it!

Puny simpletons!
It is not a matter of screaming dimir, or azorius, or even orzhov.

It is a matter of refinining talent and merge it into wellthought answers...

Scream "ESPER" if you want to scream, or I will simply make you scream myself!

Here's an odd idea,
Try out mesmeric orb. Use your creatures mainly as blockers and let your opponent be the agressive one. He will mill himself out pretty fast in an attempt to win.

Before m14 changes the legendruling try out leyline of singularity with the shapeshifters, which is great fun, and after m14 changes the rules, it's time to pack karakas.

Maybe even add sewer nemesis and mesmeric orb. Target yourself with sewer nemesis and go amok!

And it's hard to counter if in your oppening hand :D
It can be used in several ways, some very elaborate, with weird 1off's critterdecks, or different shapeshifters to copy a creature (Wont work after m14) Someone used birthingpod and stuff. I've seen a UB-hunted-singularity deck somewhere!

Before second sunrise was banned, it was also an answer to eggs.

To enforce the chance of being able to draw when you have an empty library, use gitaxian probe and streetwraith, which will also thin out the deck.

You might also consider using mesmeric orb, which could mill yourself for a lot if played for a tapout.

And consider pact of negation for when you play the maniac!!!

Wall of blood may serve as a boost to this theme.
Use mind funeral instead of mind grind. Funeral mills 13-14 cards on average against 22 land opponents.

If you want to try to make the deck more "lockdown-ish" try out lurking informer with wand of denial. Initially use the wand and your life, then, when you got the informer in play, use the wand to look and mill with the informer. Mill-control...

Muddle the mixture might help you get to your paranoid delusions!

How do you rate the cipher effect when it begins to roll? And how hard is it to set up? What formats do you mill in?
