There are so many more cards that grant tokens that you can place in the deck in order to up your speed, you place a lot of emphasis on deck thinning to allow yourself to find the token card and polymorph, but it may be worth it to try dropping some search cards in to flat out run through your deck and pull out what you need. I did a mass polymorph version of this deck a few years ago with search cards instead of scry and draw power. The deck is strong, but without any sort of defense until you pull out your massive attacker it is prone to being destroyed by fast decks.

add Book Burning, and Chain of Plasma. both good, cheap cards that can rip your opponent apart,
check out my elemental burn deck. Same concept, I just use elementals instead of instants to deal the damage:

I like rage extractor so much! its just that it costs too much to get out so its not usually fast enough beyond casual play :( Im sure its a really useful card in a fast deck, but you have to survive long enough to get it out first, and then you still have to play cards = to 20 mana to take out your opponent, its just not enough damage in the long haul.

If mycolith is your favorite card ever, I would consider making a Green/White Hybrid fungus/token or myr deck, that way you can mass produce tokens to feed to mycolith as it came into play, or you could make a nice old fashioned solid saproling deck, there are lots of cards that can pump them...

but me being myself, I would go the unconventional approach and have fun with the tokens :D you would be spurting out little saprolings every turn, and if you played another mycolith you start the cycle all over again but even stronger.

Oh, and instead of overrun in this deck, put in an Overwhelming Stampede. i guarantee that it will be much, much stronger for the same amount of mana.

... dude, when you mulligan you redraw 1 less card each time, otherwise we would all make 1turn kill decks that require god hands...

and besides, if you really wanted a first turn loss deck just fill your deck with Pacts...

I think you are trying to mix too many concepts into one deck. You have the platinum angel, but it takes a while to get into play. You dont need the emperion if you have the angel, the angel is better but is a bit easier to kill, If i were you I would splash red instead of green and burn spells instead of elves. Right now it looks like your win is by Helix Pinnacle, but if you dont have an Omnath deck it can be a really slow process to get to 100 counters. If you replace green with red you can take out health quickly and destroy threats easily, and if you are worried about slow mana you can add stuff like Geosurge and Seething Song to get out platinum angel quickly. I would also like to point out that even with hexproof, if a card is played that DOESNT target a specific creature, your platinum angel can still be destroyed. Have fun with the deck though! lemme know how it works out!

Its an awesome concept, unfortunately it might be lacking in mid game, you could start out fast and take out quite a bit of health, but after turn 3 the other player could have out some blockers that would negate the damage, nice thing about glitterfang is essentially it cant die, or wont stay dead. I would pop in some Storm effects in, Storm Entity could wreck shop pretty fast here as well

never knew there were so many monkeys... its kinda nice that they aren't too overpowered but you can still kill with them. Check out my squirrel deck!

I also made an infinite combo deck for Earthcraft+ Squirrel's Nest, but its not as relevant. I would love to see a monkey vs squirrel duel!

awesome! im not actually amazed at the decks performance actually, its an amazing concept and its really fun to play when it works, but since i play mostly legacy ive found that its just a bit too slow, im sure there are lots of ways to make this deck better, i just dont play it often enough to put more money toward it. love the idea though! thanks!

well the whole purpose of the deck is that you play your pacts the same turn that you play hive mind, most of the hands ive drawn will give me 3-5 pacts before i get hive mind out, i guess it would be a good card to sideboard just in case, but its expensive and its just one more card that might get in the way of getting the winning card in your deck. the deck is supposed to go really fast, if it doesnt win on the first hive mind pact splurge theres not much hope for it winning at all. Its a risky deck but its fun and its fairly hard to deal with.

one combo i was looking into was a Hive Mind + Chain of Vapor, does anyone know if (because the other player(s) have to copy it automatically) if i can copy it again after they copy it? because It could be a complete field wipe if so. It could work for Chain of Plasma as well for a good giant burn.

Ive never heard of that card before haha, but i dont know what all i would have to worry about with it, I only have 3 creatures and they are only for getting Hive Mind out faster, so the black pact is nothing to worry about, the white pact wont affect my opponents in a positive way either, because i wont be swinging with my creatures. the green pact i might have to worry about because forest decks have insane mana generation, but i can always drop some other pacts with it and hope they cant produce a red or blue mana or something like that. red pact... eh, they get a 4/4... but theres not really much hope for them to use it before they lose, especially if i am able to drop multiple pacts at once. blue pact is very nice because if i play it to counter one of my opponents spells, not only does it counter it, but when they get to copy the blue pact there is nothing left for them to counter, so i am left unaffected.

I like the Spring Cleaning Enchanted Evening combo, but i mean, over half the cards in your deck have no mana cost haha... good combo though if it works!

thanks! i havent actually made it completely yet, i need a few more pacts to really make it viable. only problem i have is dealing with really fast decks, even with the mana ramp I added, its only really viable at about turn 4, and im not a fan of dropping in chump blockers because they take up too much valuable space.

Man, Defense of the Heart would make this deck rip other creature-based decks to pieces! If you are a bit down on the luck getting Doran out or just want some damage pumping, I would def. drop it in. Seeing as most treefolk are pretty expensive to get out as it is, for 5 mana you would get to search your deck for 2 of them and put them straight into play! no mana required!

well the deck will still work decently the way it is even if that is so, i would just have to play a demigod from hand, however, until i am actually told by the mtg authorities, im going to keep playing the way its written on the card: when you _play_ it, and all the reanimate spells specifically state _put it into play_, which means you play it, which is how im going to treat it. heh, that last sentence was a bit redundant... so thats my plan, and if they dont let me play that way, i can always sideboard in some obliterators or other big hit hasties.

are the Marsh Flats and Verdant Catacombs just in there to minimize the number of cards in the deck?
i dropped in a few Grim Tutors to get the cards i need when i need them, they are much more reliable than draw cards.

i would replace Footsteps of the Goryo with Doomed Necromancer, essentially the same thing, but it can be a chump blocker as well. Check out my Demigod deck, its about the same, but with a few different creatures for extra speed and different tutor cards to make it tourney legal :)
