Ya rules make things fun again. There is no fun in winning turn 2.

Seems like a fun deck for casual play but sorry to say I don't see it taking any first place finishes in any FNMs or tourneys. Your mana curve is way to high while having to few lands which are just too slow. Black does happen to be my favourite colour but I don't think it's really doing enough to warrant it. Sorry if this seems harsh just my opinions.
Solid build! How is the Canopy Vista working for you? I tried a Sunken Hallow in my modern deck but ultimately decided against it due to the turn 1 and 2 land drops being so crucial in modern. I just hated it being in my starting 7. Only other thing I can suggest is having some graveyard hate in your SB. Obviously nothing that will effect your own GY like Rest in Peace but perhaps, Dryad Militant since it wont hit your lands but is a good answer to Jace and Snapcaster. Relic of Progenitus is very effective against reanimator or keeping delve in check abiding it resolves early.
On point comment with the just the right comedic flare. LOL
In addition I would say Rot wolf is the weakest link considering the cmc. You are right on the down fall of Poisonous not helping when pumped but I have had a few games with multiple Slivers which makes the Poisonous triggers stack. I also like having a higher amount of creatures so I can flood my board allowing at least one to get threw. I am gonna cut Giant Growth for Gitaxian Probe. It's a strategy I use in my burn decks as well.
Happy to help, and thanks for your feed back on mine. You make some very valid points.

Nice! My Infect pauper deck is rarely defeated. Take a look if interested. I went mono green since I don't like the mana base for pauper. I hate having lands enter tapped in a deck which wants to win before opp can get a board state.
Personally I don't think it's going to benefit all that much. It's only saving Flickering Ward and Armadillo Cloak since Rancor returns already and the others already have Totem. Aside from that I do agree on cutting Hero of Ioras. I'd make Favored Hoplite a 4 of and get those Swords into the main deck by cutting both Centaur Battlemaster and 1 land. Centaur Battlemaster is bomb but I think having an earlier board presence and using your later turns to pump clear the way is going to win you more games.
Personally I never have luck with Nevermore. Many times bringing it in on game 2 or 3 results in it resolving just to name opp's combo piece which they sided out anyway. My suggestion would be to replace that with Rebuff the Wicked. I'll guaranty your opponent will side in any artifact and enchantment hate they have after game 1. Rebuff has the potential to save that bridge or Blood Moon "lock piece"
Did you just say Blood Moon is pointless?
Bolts and Bears! lol
No they don't and never have. A card needs to specifically tell you to cast a copy. like with Chandra, Pyromaster Ultimate.
I myself miss read it and originally had 4 in the deck before the realization. The only way I can force life lose through Rain of gore is with putting the Lifelink enchantment on their creatures. I have one in the SB to play against Soul Sisters and its very spot on flavour wide with this deck.
I just realized I was wrong, You must use a Instant speed x spell since the infinite loop on turn two would not be able to be stopped unless you were interrupting a part of the loop while it was on the stack. So Stroke of Genius or Volcanic Geyser is your best bet. or wait and loop while another creature is in the graveyard.
Or even better just add Stroke of Genius to instant mill your opp.
No Worldgorger was unbanned when Wotc banned Treasure Cruise back in January. I understand the combo but how does this deck not force a draw do to it. Adding a x burn spell like Banefire. You would also need to add a red mana source for this to be viable.
Interesting ideas, I'll ponder them for a bit. 5 colour in modern is it possible? Probably inconsistent but...
I wouldn't call it a write off , just not consistent enough for modern. It's such a dangerous strategy. If Tainted Remedy doesn't resolve then all it does is benefit the opponent. With the exception of a bit of burn. Perhaps it would be a better vintage casual kitchen table build. could add 4x False Cure.
I do agree with everything you've said. The main problem with the deck in my opinion is that it only has one win condition, Tainted Remedy. Rain of Gore just doesn't work the same and False Cure isn't modern legal.
