Also, gravecrawler certainly would help when it comes to facing creature control. There are a number of good 1 cc zombies that I like. I could take out Soulless One in favor of something cheaper, I find that by the time I'm ready to put Soulless One to good use, I've already got so many zombies out and my combos completed that I've won.

He's basically in there as a counter wrath. I hang on to him in my hand without casting him just in case all of my zoms get sent to the graveyard. If anyone did that to me, I'd cast him next turn and stomp the field the turn after.

Great idea! Though, looking up hydras and keeping with the theme of 1 cc creatures, I think protean hydra might fit the deck better (for theme) though Primordeal's trample would certainly help as a solo finisher if I'm not getting the stampede that I need.

The only problem I would have with skinshifter is that it takes g to temporarily activate its ability, meaning that if I wanted to use it to set off Overwhelming Stampede I would need 1 extra mana for that turn. 1 Mana's not much, especially considering the accell in this deck, but it could be enough to set me back a turn or two.

I'm glad you liked the deck, please check out some of my others and comment! :)

Thanks for the compliment bro! I checked oracle, and Sanguine Guard is most certainly a "zombie knight". It was reprinted and updated for "Duel Decks, Phyrexia VS. the Coalition." I could see where you'd make that mistake though, clicking on the card links to the original version. There are a lot of older cards lacking proper types/subtypes.

Another example, just from this deck, is Zombie Master. Believe it or not, he is a "Zombie Lord", not just a "Lord". The updated oracle text for him says he gives his effect to "other zombies", thus unfortunately he does not affect himself.

I have considered adding some black instants/sorceries for creature control, but when I give all my creatures deathtouch, and some have either/both flying and first strike, creature control isn't a problem. They attack me, their creatures die and mine live (through first strike/deathtouch combo). Meanwhile I'm swampwalking all over them so I don't care what they have do defend with!

The only instance that I could see tragic slip coming in more useful than just my creatures is if they have something that's indestructible, like a darksteel. Those creatures are rare enough that I don't really worry about them, but tragic slip could end up in the sideboard!

Thanks for the comment! If you liked this then check out a few of my other decks. :)

PS. Great creature suggestion! Phyrexian Obliterator is a fantastic creature that fits the sacking and "do not attack me" theme of this deck!

I just remembered my other idea for this deck!

Memnarch

Then your opponents give up.

You would need to change the deck colors to include blue (silver myr), but the principle for creating infinite mana from myrs would still be the same. You wouldn't need to win, you could just steal ALL the permanents in play!

Imagine. How. Hilarious. That. Would. Be.

This deck does seem insanely fun, but I'm agreeing with Razka, I just don't see any possible way to win with it.

It could be fun in a multiplayer variant though. Make a special game rule in which no one can attack or target this deck's user until all other players have been eliminated. The person to kill this deck's user gets to use this deck the next game.

While the cards you suggested do fit the theme, show and tell benefits your opponents and potentially GREATLY speeds up their decks. Natural order requires me to sac a green creature and only brings out 1 creature, most of the combos I listed require 2+ creatures working in tandem. Dramatic entrance costs 5 to do once what my piper costs 1 to do multiple times, or my DotH costs 4 to do twice (from deck), and sneak attack forces me to sak a creature at the end of my turn, which will prevent me for taking advantage of many of the continual creature effects. :(

I think all those cards, while fitting the theme of the deck, would result in making the deck much less effective. Thanks for the suggestions all the same!

Since you obviously put some thought into it, I would be happy to check out some of your decks. :)

It's a combo deck that can wipe a multiplayer table out in a single attack from a single creature and can net you hundreds of life, but it's best played in casual because it takes a while to get going. It never goes infinite, it just feels like it's infinite. :)

I have to agree with smn when it comes to taking out the plague myrs, they really don't make any sense when you could put two more Palladium Myrs in instead, after all, Pal Myr is the easiest key to your combo.

Are you trying to keep this deck from using older cards deliberately? IMHO Tangle is the best one shot fog card in the game, protecting you for two consecutive turns while leaving your enemy open at the same time.

Again agreeing with smn when he says dash hopes is not necessary, you can always throw in two more exsanguinates. It'll help you get to one of your kill combos faster and without tutoring!

If you want to change things up, Epic Struggle could work just as well as helix pinnacle since you can make inf tokens. If you went that route you would want 4 propegators (for tokens) and 4 battlespheres (so you could also win by dealing inf damage if necessary).

I had another idea while typing but now that I have gotten this far I forget! Lol, have fun with the deck, but personally, I dislike infinite combos.

Stormtide Leviathan is right at the bottom in the side deck. He sure is a great win con and very similar to Blazing Archon in function when it comes to preventing aggro towards you. His main hang up is that he prevents aggro towards other players as well, and players with flying can still attack you (though they would be hard pressed to not lose an attacker against the Leviathan).

As I said, I mainly play this in multiplayer, so it is often in my interest to allow the other players to keep being able to attack each other. If I prevent them from doing so, I only draw more attention to myself than I already would have.

What red creatures would you recommend specifically?

In response to your comment about me having a lot of green, to be fair I have 4 pipers, 4 defense of the heart, 4 birds of paradise, and 4 harbingers. That accounts for 16 of the green cards right there (a full 26.6% of the deck), and they are all necessary to enable the rest of the creatures to come out ASAP. Another 4 of the green creatures are the eternal witnesses, again there just to support the other win cards. You can't take any of the cards I just listed out of the deck withough severely hampering it.

It seems like you're a red blue player, please feel free to gut the fatties in this deck and reconstruct it then post your new decklist here. :) I would be interested in seeing how you would change the deck to make it more red/blue worthy! Remember though, keeping to the theme of the deck means avoiding instants and sorceries, use creatures for EVERYTHING!

Again, it's easy to edit out the dual lands and replace them with something more affordable. I never used them until I started playing online using Cockatrice.

I would consider replacing rite of replication with either Beastmaster's Magemark, a swords, or Enlightened Tutor. After all, your tokens from followed footsteps will be work far more than a single toke from rite of Replication. Rite of replication basically counts on being kicked, and that'll slow your deck down by several turns and suck up mana you could put elsewhere.

If you could comment on my deck I would appreciate it! :)

Less Chord of Calling, more Green Sun Zenith. I assume you never heard of it? Not only does it do the same thing for 2 less green mana, but it shuffles back into your deck, so your chances of drawing it (and getting a birds) only increase each time you use it.

Also, consider Door of Destinies instead of Coat of Arms, that way, even if your bird tokens get wiped out by mass removal, you can still throw down another bird and have it be gargantuan all alone.

Would appreciate you commenting on my deck. The challenge I came up with for myself (several years ago) was to build a deck that could deal with any circumstance solely through its creature's abilities.

Seems to me that Privileged Position would help the deck deal with spot removal of creatures, enchantments, and artifacts. I play a lot of casual and those swans would likely get doom bladed or exiled pretty fast, especially in multilayer.

I'd appreciate suggestions on my deck, I hope you enjoy it. I created an account today specifically to share this deck.

This deck is just unfair. That is why I love it. Amazing land destruction with a unique combo bro, destined to cripple whatever opponent you think will be the biggest problem and make them cry, especially if they are running a lot of basic lands.

Ridiculous creature control with the Namless Inversion combo, will take care of ANY indestructible creature provided you can cast it often enough in the same turn. Great use of the Changling subtype ability.

I guess I'm just stating the obvious, but honestly, I'm impressed.

I kind of feel bad for asking, but I'm new to the site (longtime magic player) and would really appreciate comments on the deck I just uploaded. Maybe one day, when I'm a big boy, it'll hit the front page like your deck, lol.

5 color multiplayer (or casual two player) deck based around winning with all of the most insane/disgusting/gross/unfair fat Fat FAT creatures in the game. I've been playing and editing this deck for years. I've included an extensive 39 card sideboard for readers to play with and there's a contest for whoever can suggest the best 40th card for the sideboard! It can make entire tables give up by turn 4 depending how you decide to play it, and there are more ways to win with it and great creatures to synergise with than you can shake a stick at.

I've included a fairly comprehensive deck playing strategy guide as the first comment, now all that's left is for you to comment. Please do!

This was the 2nd deck I ever built way back when Futuresight was the hot new thing. As you can see it has evolved over the years, but I still love it and, even more than that, love what it does to anyone unfortunate enough to play against it. Once your first Defense of the Heart goes off, it'll be the table VS you. You'll probably still win.

So, to explain a few functions of the deck as is. The deck I own in real life does not have all those awesome dual lands, but this is the deck I play online. Feel free to sub out the dual lands appropriately, in person I'll play with a proper balance of triple lands from the Alara block just to ensure I have all the mana I could possibly need, but between the Birds, Harbingers, and Forbidden Orchards mana fixing is rarely a problem. Thanks to them, you really don't even need the non basic lands, just proper mana balancing through basic lands should be enough. I recently switched the deck around a little so the mana balancing is probably a little off, but in this deck mana balancing really doesn't matter a lot. Things are supposed to come in to play without you having to hard cast them.

If you get rid of the non basic lands, the deck should cost between $60 and $120 depending on what creatures you want to run. When I first built this deck it cost me somewhere around $60-$80.

There are a lot of potential creature combos hereabouts and the deck is designed to be able to deal with ANYTHING your opponents might throw at you, solely through the use of creature's abilities (exception for privileged position).

First, the base of the deck. Elvish Piper and Defense of the Heart.

Elvish Harbinger will ensure you can bring a Piper out and, since it gives you an extra mana, makes sure you have enough mana to play it even if you've only drawn 3 lands. If you're lucky enough to start with a Harbinger, Birds, and 2 lands in your opening hand you'll have Piper ready to spit out your first fat fat fatty by turn 4. If you like, you can ignore the Harbinger's ability and just get ready to set off a DotH at that point depending on how the board looks.

Play Defense of the Heart and watch your opponents stall playing creatures until they can destroy it or kill you with what they have, only... Forbidden Orchard! Give them some wimpy 1/1 spirit creatures that don't even fly! You can almost always set DotH off the turn after you play it. :) Use Eternal Witness to play it turn, after turn, after turn, after turn...

Eternal witness can also bring Sheolred back from your graveyard if it is ever unfortunate enough to end up there.

Defensive creatures include Platinum Angel (alternative win cons will stall), Platinum Emperion (makes burn decks cry), Blazing Archon (SCREW YOU AGGRO!!!), Sigarda (no Mr. black player, you can't make me sac things), Avacyn (an opponent wrathing the board will only make you smile), and Privileged Position (good luck exiling me, silly white player, and go away bouncy blue, no one likes you).

Opponent's cards giving you problems? Is there an enchantment that is stopping you from attacking? A card that is freezing game play up and allowing an opponent to stall?

Angel of Despair/Bringer of the Red Dawn + Sheoldred + Braids. Destroy a permanent of your choice every turn as Angel of Despair bounces in and out of the graveyard fast enough to give your opponents whiplash. Oh, and BTW, they get to sac 2 permanents/turn while you're at it. This combo will bring a multiplayer game to a screeching halt while people give you evil glares and you laugh internally, or externally if you're a jerk like me.

Sub out Angel/Bringer for Eternal Witness and go ahead and play your Defense of the Heart EVERY TURN.

Something's indestructible? Need to get rid of it at your convenience? ADMONITION ANGEL TO THE RESCUE! Bring it out with your Bringer of the Blue Dawn and you'll have lands to play almost every turn! If you've set Defense of the Heart off a few times the creatures will have thinned down in your deck, and the odds of you drawing a land goes way up!

Having trouble keeping your pipers out or not finding the DotH's? Hard cast any of the bringers for their alternate mana cost! 5/5 trample, and while I'm at it I'll either draw 3/cards a turn until I find what I need, or just borrow your creatures and club you over the head with them. The alternative mana cost is a strong factor when it comes to why I've kept the bringers in since the beginning of the deck, they have saved my life a number of times when all else has failed.

Would your rather win with direct damage? Sub in a couple of Kaervek's. Want to blow everything up every turn? Team up Novablast Wurm with Avacyn and bring Kamahl, Fist of Krosa and Massacre Wurm along for the fun.

I would rather not list the plethora of great options for token generation. Just look at the sideboard for yourself.

Want to beatdown even more than the creatures in the deck already can? Again , sideboard for things like Leviathans and Simic Sky Swallower.

Anyway, this is my first deck on here and I would really like some comments on it! And like I said, bonus 10 points for the best 40th creature suggestion for the sideboard, with an explanation!
