Do you find it worth splashing red just for bloodbraid? Just curious.

Deathgreeter might be a good 1 drop for this deck.
Yeah, I try to avoid infinity cycles if I can. They stopped being fun for me really quickly. That's just me, though.
Ooh...good call.
yeah, that's why I love mercy killing--it works like a swords to plowshares for elf decks that have a lot of "each elf in play" ability. That's one of the reasons I love playing my elf deck against other elf decks--my combos go off twice as fast. :-) That's also another reason for taunting elf (I responded to your comment on my deck)--say you blast their 10/10 with a mercy killing, giving them 10 elves. You then timber/pride your taunting elf, making him at least an 11/12, and kill all the elves you just gave them (not before tapping your wellwisher, of course, lol).
Taunting elf is in here for control--I pump him up with timber and pride, and force you to block, killing all of your creatures.
Yeah, I'm not sure what I was thinking when I put him in here...he's gone now, lol.
Another good sword to have here is Deathrender, especially if you decide to try to work Raksha, Golden Cub into here. I'd agree on fixing the equipment/creature ratio a bit--this can be one of the most annoying things about these decks--but I wouldn't take it down to 6 equips--I think 10-12 is good. 15:18 is a bit risky, though--you'd rather have some creatures and no equipment than all equips and no creatures.
This is actually a really good deck. It's very similar to my elf deck, which I love--http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=103549. A few I might suggest-- Priest of Titania over Elvish Archdruid. You lose the +1/+1, but If you use mercy killing to take out a threat, those elves you give them help you out, as they do with wirewood pride, timberwatch, and wellwisher. Also, Immaculate Magistrate. He is great in any elf deck, but paired with Joraga Warcaller, it becomes ridiculous so quickly. Also, taunting elf. 'Nuff said. And maybe Ezuri over Garruk for the overrun.
Cool idea, but I'd definitely look into Bloodbraid Elf, Quirion Elf, and a Garruk or 2.
Gilder Bairn?
Why not Immaculate Magistrate? Especially if you add Joraga...
One thing you may look into is Mercy Killing--it's a relatively under-used card for elf decks, but is basically a tailor-made Elvish Sword to Plowshares. You can either pump one of your own creatures with Immaculate Magistrate and hit it with MK for a bunch of 1/1s for yourself, or remove a threat, but their 1/1 elves still pump Wellwisher, Priest, (and others like Wirewood Pride and Timberwatch if you want them). I think it's at least worth sideboarding here. If you're interested, take a look at mine here (http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=103549) for possible ideas, or to leave a comment. Thanks!
Kabira Vindicator, Time of Heroes, and maybe a Transcendent Mater if you can find one cheap. Also, maybe a Knight Exemplar? Even without these, it's a pretty sweet deck.
Cool deck--the one thing I would look into, unless you really need the mountainwalk, is Goblin Chieftain over Goblin King--I've found the haste he gives much more useful. Also, a Reckless One or two wouldn't hurt.
First deck I ever posted on here was my defender deck--runs similar to this one, but has a different mechanic for firing up Vent Sentinel/Overgrown Battlement. If you're interested, it's here: http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=90235 I don't think Doran is necessary here, though--splashing one color for a single card tends to mess with an already good deck. Best use for this deck, imo, is two-headed giant, that's what I use mine for.
I've found in my Griffin deck that Day of Judgment can offset the overcost of the Griffins--also, Mtenda Griffin can help if you lose any of your own creatures by it. Overall, cool deck. I have a similar one you can check out here: http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=137070
I actually love my Griffin deck...I originally threw it together just to be funny, but it works great as a flyover. This one is pretty awesome. The two you might look into are Zuberi, Golden Feather and Mtenda Griffin. Those along with Griffin Canyon are the only real tribal boosts out there. Love that you added Mosswort Bridge in here. Fits great with the flavor and utility of the deck.
Dunno how many older cards you play against, but I'd look at some artifact/enchant removal in case anyone drops a circle of protection or another protection spell.
