^_^ Have you checked it out recently? It's gotten better. I now have spot removal with no draw-backs!

Static orb is too easy to stop... The idea is that getting two or three things down stops you from blowing them up ^_^ What? You expect me to play fair?

Oh wow I just got an evil idea... Jitte. Now I don't need to punch you to win, I just gotta attack to win ^_^

Hey surewhynot.... Have I won the official "Evil" stamp yet? I don't mean this deck, I mean as a deck builder?

Ah, my two amigos who explain what the hell I'm doing because I am too busy brewing to notice :)

They got it basically right, you are at a bigger disadvantage than I am. Couz my deck is more or less built to play around its own disruption. Plus Lodestone and Factories will kck your face in. But here's the beautiful part: games take a long time if you play until you deck. In a tournament setting, games are timed and at the end who ever has the most life wins. I don't need to win, I just need to kick you in the face and wait. And since most tournament players know this, they will scoop after the lock is down so that they might have time to win game 2 and 3

Interestingly, Trinisphere is only restricted in Vintage play. In Legacy it is fully allowed :)

Ah, good old Salvation. My sig is a quote...
"[about Elish Norn] It's actually pretty balanced for all the power creep that's been going on. I was half expecting that this would cost 4 and give you a hand-job when it comes into play."

Ahhh lol. Although it was already on the page before my comment, and you notice there are no recent comments... It didn't occur to me that a single "like" made the difference

I'm trying to play this as an aggro deck, so Vapor Snag works perfectly actually. Buys me time and pings them for 1. In a control deck you are totally right though.

I like Ponder more, mainly because of the extra card you get to see. But maybe that's the legacy player in me forgetting this isn't legacy.... In legacy Ponder>>Preordain because that extra card really can be win or lose. Besides, we got fetchlands for psedo-scry effects. In Standard, that's probably not the case

Hmmm.... Good call of Figment, if I can find room. Forgetting MM was, well, a mental misstep on my part.

Yea, I was testing online and the dude goes "illusions? seriously? noob"

Turn 4 he is looking at a Wurmcoil Engine

Therapy and TS does the job and then some. Calling it fragile is kinda funny though, as I can go off without warning in a single turn in several ways :)

They also have the surprise benefit of being sick with Reanimate.... as in, I stole a Reanimator deck's Iona turn 2. They are also great with goyf.... I'll make you discard that JTMS. Oh, and since you countered my turn 2 fauna shaman, this turn 3 goyf is now a 5/6. Enjoy!

The truth is that your bst protection is your diversity. Ooze, or Vengevine, or goyf, or bloodghast? All are options basically right up until the moment your fauna shaman's tutor ability/buried alive asks for a target. This diversity gets even more pronounced with the options of Bob and NO on the sb... this deck is very hard to hate for the obvious reasons and I'm liking it a lot.

I have had little to no trouble with explosiveness, and right now I'm thinking extra ramp is more trouble than its worth, since it kinda sucks after turn 2-ish

Did this deck randomly show up on the Upcomming list? I guess that's the site's way of saying this deck is cool :D

Yea, I saw that deck. It's interesting. I'll post the one I'm talking about, it's suprisingy good. T2 Thoughtseize->reanimate on Rhox, Phyrexian devourer, hero of bladehold, etc is really strong (duh?). U should definitely test the list out

Damn you, can't you ever suggest anything? I don't care if it "looks solid". No deck is perfect. I spend atleast an hour a day working with my affinity deck... Trust me. No list is perfect

Reanimator... Someone showed on on mtgs with an interesting BG Aggro/Combo deck, I've tinkered with it and I'll post it if you like. Basic idea is Ooze combo powered by Reanimator, buried alive, and fauna shaman with an alternate plan of bloodghast/Vengevine Aggro powered via the same method. Then throw in Goyf, ramp, and hand disruption. Following a Thoughtseize on T1 by reanimating what you choose (Rhox, Iona, Regal Force, Tombstocker, etc) is a lot of fun. Sb has bob and a transform into NO Pro (only 7 spots with 3 bob and no Arbor)
