I love flavor decks, and this one (well, the series idea) is no exception. Have you considered working in some Black for some other devourers/devour "targets" (such as Thrinax). I never made a devour-based deck, maybe I should =]

I've never liked decks like these, because I find them boring...Sorry, just my opinion =/ That said, the deck works. I've seen these work, and this one is no exception...I just don't like it =P (again, sorry).
That is a more..."direct", translation. Semper Finalae technically means "All that is shall always be finished in the end" (Latin's amazing that way isn't it?) It's one of the things (apparently) that someone said to Julius Cesar. All of the deck titles are things that someone said to Cesar. =P
Thoughtsieze, Silence, and Spellstutter are for combo decks of that nature. Dash Hopes is appealing BECAUSE it gives them a choice. Making an opponent have to choose is another piece of the puzzle for Tempo. If I'm dealing with a full-force power combo deck, then I'll sideboard in my Mindbreak Traps and/or Inquisition of Kozilek, since they CRUSH those decks...it's pretty damn funny to be honest. Conjurer's Ban also helps nicely since I can Thoughtsieze ---> Ban to hold them down to the point that they'll be unable to pull the combo off. Combo decks are like a glass cannon -- Powerful, but fragile.
This deck is excellent, but I have some suggestions. First one being that I don't think you need 4 Fauna Shamans. They're obviously great, especially with Vengevine and with the speed of this deck (which is very impressive), but I just feel that 4 is too many. My other suggestion is that you might want to just use 2 Genesis Waves, basically for the same reasons as with Fauna Shaman. Your sideboard is nearly flawless, but I wonder why you have Acidic Slime in there? All in all though, outstanding deck man.
Very evil, I like it. What is the major win condition? Or is this just designed to enrage someone? =P Three cards I'd suggest are: 1) Crucible of Worlds (for the mine) 2) Pyrostatic Pillar and 3) Blazing Salvo Nice deck overall though, I like it. =]
Thanks everyone. Glad you all like this one! =] Haunting Echoes...I just never really liked it that much. Unless you're doing a focused Discard/Extraction, I don't think it's good enough (in the case of Discard/Extraction though...holy crap). With Dash Hopes, I've found that most players don't realize how much they either needed that 5 life or needed to play that card. Also, I usually, this being Tempo, Dash Hopes them...then if they pay the 5 life, hit them with a Spellstutter Sprite or a Perplex. =P
Hey thanks. Glad you are a fan of Stompy. I'm almost 22. I played the Pokemon TCG for a short while when I was younger, but that game is WAY too easy to break and is so unbalanced that I stopped playing it. (And no, Charizard is not the strongest card, Ditto is =P).
Very nice support deck. Magus of the Candelabra will be a nightmare for the opponents. Giving mana to your teammate is a lot more powerful than it might seem at first.
WOW. This deck...is fast. I got nothin' to say beyond that man. Very well done. =]
Hey thanks Fluff! I love Wurmcoil too. =] At the prerelease event for Zendikar, I drafted him because I was interested in his ability. I wanted to see just how good it could be. Well, obviously it impressed me =]
I enjoy playing with buddies, but I have done some competitive things as well. =]
Hehe, thanks. I'm just saying, maybe it's where/who I play, but that card is a deathwish.
Yeah...Uril is good in normal deck's, but in EDH...He is an unstoppable force. =]
Hehehe, thanks. I haven't used this deck in FOREVER, which is a shame, because it really is enjoyable to kill someone with walls =P
To be perfectly honest, because I flat-out forgot to use them XD Thanks for the reminder, and yes...in a case where it's a mana producer and provides flight defense/aggression, the loss of power is acceptable.
Nope =P Infinite damage, turns, creatures, life, attack power, and mana is the way to go =] I'm just kidding. This is great as it is man.
Sweetness. I would change to 3 Conspiracy(s) and 3 Doubling Season(s). It looks good otherwise =]
Funny you would say that. I recently (ish) had a two headed giant game with this. My buddy was using this deck he made specifically for THG, which basically is designed to give the other "head" a whole bunch of stuff to aid them and make them unstoppable. One of the things he gave me was Rite of Passage, the other two were Beastmaster Ascension and Akroma's Memorial. (It's G/R/U and uses bazaar trader among other things)
Yeah, I considered both of them, but this deck's mana curve is already pretty steep.
