I can show people how the deck works, I can even show them good stategies and why each card is in there, but to actually teach someone how to "play" Extraction is essentially impossible.

Blood Scriv is there (as opposed to Bob) because of how he grants me card advantage and even more so, when. The difference in life loss between Bob and Scriv is pretty marginal, with Scriv being the slight winner, but that isn't why I chose him over Bob. It's a choice of explosiveness versus consistency. It's not actually about getting the 2 cards a turn. It's about getting those 2 cards after I've played out everything right away and need to keep up the pressure with some answers. They're very interchangeable, but I've found that my way of doing things works better with Scriv than Bob in most cases.

I like it, though I have never liked Trygon in the SB. I understand why it's there, but it irks me...I always feel like there's a better card out there that it.

Zur can be auto-pilot, but I've seen some people do amazing and creative things with him too. My three least favorite generals would have to be:

1. Rafiq (I've seen original takes on him, but its usually the same voltron smashyface lameness)
2) Kaalia (Wumps has even admitted he dislikes playing HIS Kaalia design because it's such an auto-pilot)
C - Aurelia (No idea why, but I see her used as a general ALL. THE. TIME. now...Only one was actually interesting)

I'm trying to keep it from being to much of an auto-pilot kind of thing. I know the reasons people don't like "Them", so hopefully my list will bring some extra stuff to the table.

Haha thanks, I was a little surprised myself that it turned out as good as it did. I'm also working on an Obzedat design, and I WAS working on a Triad of Fates build as well...but then WotC released Roon. Sooooo...Now I can make an even dirtier flicker deck =D

Playing a Pox followed by a Blind Obedience generally leads to this reaction:

I think the main thing to blame is the amount of things you're relying on ET to grab, specifically related to the number of "one-ofs" you have. I tend to think you can grab about 10-12 things with 3 ETs and just a hair more with 4 (eventually adding a fourth doesn't help because of diminishing returns).

I would try to refine your list to what is essential, and remove some of those 1-ofs so that you can have some things in pairs. This puts less pressure on ET overall, and should help with getting the cards you need.

And yeah, any form of Pox, STAX, or "Stox" is infuriating to play against. Been a while since I've seen a White Pox (or "Elmer's Pox") like yours here. I'll have to get on Arty's case to post up his list.

I have. I love Zombie Infestation...it's an awesome card. Strange as it might sound, it was too much difcard for this deck. I can go more into detail about why that is, but I'm being lazy now =P

I do love the card though, and I'm working on a list now to use it as an engine. It will be similar to my various B/G filth decks.

I have to disagree. I've played against this thing, both before and after these updates, and the ramp allows him to continue to pound me into the ground while WinterVoid forces me to sit on my balls -___-

It's just the right mix of Ports, Tabernacles, and Wastelands to tell me "Hell no" alongside enough ramp for him to say "Oh, by the way, I can still play the game."

Entomb though has already become a headache for me, so damn you for that suggestion! *shakes fist* =P
