The fact that it's on your upkeep is what makes it so smexy. And if you mean the grixis colored zombie guy (Nekusar, the Mindrazer) yeah he's crazy. I am most certainly taking my reverse-mill deck "Choke" and turning that idea into an EDH with him at the helm. Some of the others are crazy too. A new esper general that Arty is a little too happy about. It's a big giant named Oloro, Ageless Ascetic that basically lets you bleed everyone out while drawing cards and gaining life.

Gotta say man, glad you're back. Between Arty busy with clients all the time and Wumps being neck-deep in wedding crap...Not too many people to talk to about the finer things in magic. Such as crushing an opponent with a mountain of mana burden as seen in this deck of yours =P

Exactly. It just makes the opponent go from not being able to do anything to REALLY not being able to do anything haha. I plan to use WN for something in the future, maybe even an EDH or two. Speaking of EDH, have you seen any of the new generals they're making for the second "Commander goodstuffs" set? Or any of the 13 new ones from Theros? Exciting things for EDH lovers methinks.

Welcome back my friend! Waste Not does sound funny for WinterVoid, although truth be told Chains isn't exactly a slouch haha

I like it. It follows the general framework of an Iso-Pox, while still being your own take on it. I would suggest dropping down to just 2 Isochrons though, especially now that this runs the proper spell suite. I'd also try to up the land count to at least 24, if not 25. The lack of Hide//Seek is questionable to me, but I know this is a hybrid design, so maybe that's fine. I'd also look at http://www.mtgvault.com/whiteandbluetheykillyou/decks/new-macabre/ this deck by WnB. He might be taking some time off from the vault, but the guy still has some great ideas with this kinda stuff too. I'd also talk to Quasimofo about this kind of thing. He's more of an expert on Pox and Stax than I am.

Does it bother you that half of this deck's price is in one card?

I wouldn't bother with panoptic to be honest.

Gotta say, I've been seeing your budget decks come up all the time recently, and I love it. Magic can be a very expensive game, so I think it's very cool you've thrown together all these affordable options. So, I put you in my 20 followed users list. Keep up the good work man =]

I think you have way too many Isochrons in here to be honest. Every list I run now has a maximum of 2. Granted my lists use Enlightened Tutor, but still, 4 is too many. That's the very first thing I noticed, so I had to post it. I'll take a look at this in more detail later, just busy right now =/

Since her ability is so useful to the deck and since it cost so much to play, I would recommend adding in Heartstone, Rings of Brighthearth, and Illusionist's Bracers. Also I second the Woolly Thoctar idea.

Hope that helps =]

Any reason you chose Kozi as your Eldrazi loop over the others? Nice build, the land base is impressive =]

I never realized the mana curve for this deck was so purdy before. Seeing the bar graph really gives you a nice idea about that =]

Thanks for the reminder =]

This is a very interesting design. It's more mill than anything else really, but it still can do a substantial amount of extraction. I like the layout of cards you have, and I think it looks pretty fast to boot. My one concern is that there is no discard, to keep them off of any threats before you can shut them down. It's something I might consider, but if it compromises too much of the rest of the deck then I would stick with the design you have right now as it is pretty solid. I think your sideboard needs a little touch-up too, but unfortunately, I'm unfamiliar with the current meta so I can't really help with that, sorry =/
